An anniversary. Though not as signification as a few others happening within PFB later this year, still, an anniversary. I believe it’s healthy to look back on the past but not to spend too much time analyzing it, just gotta keep marching forward towards the end.

With that said i know ive made jokes over the years but I never actually thought there’d be this long of a span of time between full lengths for me. I’ve found life often gets in the way or I’m incredibly lazy if I have free time. plus in my own mind I’ve been living under the imaginary (though maybe rooted in some reality) crushing weight of expectations of following up an album like this. I’ll probably talk about those same things later in the year, maybe next year or maybe never again because I’ll have moved past the thought.

The thing is, I’m still extremely proud of this album and the songs. I still enjoy playing this stuff live. If this were my last record I’d be going out in my eyes at a high point. I will say thanks endlessly to my wife who had to deal with me making this in our cramped living space at the time and all the support over the years. To @theflenser for believing in it and to any of you who have listened to it or grabbed it on some sort of format, came to a show, sent a message etc.

With that said, yes there will be a new LP more than likely next year as I’m currently chipping away at recording it.

Until then The Flenser has been gracious enough to do another pressing of the album and they look incredible.

Back in 2019 I made a small amount of zines for the 3rd pressing of Below The House.  Though it borrows aesthetically from the Version/phase series this is more of a companion to the proper LP.  Originally 16 pages printed on 8.5"x11" photocopy paper, stapled with black duct tape binding.

I decided to do another printing of it because some people have asked. Now expanded with 12 additional pages featuring content from the same time frame as the original. This one is slightly shrunk down to 6.69"x9.91" but it's black & white pro printed, with heavier card stock cover. Stapled spine.
