6. Does any of this surprise you?

Not really? This is what I would expect from someone who has almost half their fics from the ages of 16-18 lmao. Probably the tags would be a little different if I ever knew how to tag back then lmao, but this seems to track. I am a little surprised at how close my mature and explicit ones are, though, in my head I had a lot more mature than explicit (this is what I get for collabing I guess lol)

Louis - Octavia Blake. Jonas Agallon. Honestly if the situation were right, he’d do it for just about anyone- he thinks himself infallible and he knows he can take a hit and take the pain and he’d rather do that than let someone else do it. So if push came to shove and it came down to Louis or someone else, he’ll always throw himself on that sword, not because he’s gallant or brave or noble like that, but because he thinks it won’t kill him. 

Styxx - His twin. His wife Bethany. His mentor/father figure Galen. Any member of Galen’s family. Any innocent person caught in chaos. For my Styxx specifically: Octavia Blake. Honey Lemon. Liesel Ivanov. John Mbege. He would specifically like it noted that he would NOT risk his life for Louis because Louis is a “reckless, thoughtless scamp” who probably ran headfirst into said danger and it’s not his job to babysit idiots. 

Cerci - Here’s the thing: there’s two but they’re different vibes. Nicklas Willams she’d risk her life for, but it would be calculated and if she didn’t have good odds of surviving, she’d find another way to save him that had a higher probability of actually saving him. Stefan Ivanov she would risk her life for but it would be more emotion-driven and less well-calculated; she would react to his danger with her heart instead of her head which is lovely, but also isn’t exactly where she makes the best tactical decisions.

Mbege - John Murphy. Easy, simple, singular. 

Fox - John Murphy. Bellamy Blake. Nicklas Willams. Octavia Blake. Vigilaent’s Gar 

Dick - Literally anyone. Dick is a hero at his core and he’ll always put himself between someone else and danger. 

Jason - Any of the batfam except maybe Bruce, but he’ll never admit it out loud. My Jason specifically would also risk his life for his girlfriend Liesel Ivanov and if the situation were totally and completely forced- her brother Stefan because he’s important to Liesel. Also specific to my Jason is vigilaent’s Gar but he says the why isn’t any of anyone’s business. He just would. 

Blaise- No one. Not a soul. Y’all on your own. 

Gina - Any of the delinquents. Bellamy but not in a dramatic announced sort of way, more in a split second decision type of way such as trying to push him out of the way of a bullet/arrow/explosion/etc. Also same for Raven and Clarke.

11. 3 books that you would recommend everyone to read: This feels like cheating but genuinely, there is no book that I would recommend to every single person! Some of the books I love the most or have impacted me the most are just not going to resonate for others. That said, 3 favorites that I would feel reasonably confident most of my mutuals would get something out of are: Plays Well With Others by Allan Gurganus (found family/home and the importance of art, set in New York at the beginning of the AIDS crisis); Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie (everyone who is interested in this has probably read it by now, but I can't leave it out!! Sci-fi, the quest of the last remaining sentient fragment of a destroyed starship to avenge herself, her captain and her crew while being caught up in a galactic power struggle - but really it's about personhood and justice and loyalty and love); The Solace of Leaving Early by Haven Kimmel (this one is hard to describe especially since it works best if you go in knowing nothing. The protagonist is an extremely unlikable literature PhD washout whom I love to the ends of the earth and the secondary protagonist is a small-town minister who is maybe my favorite character of all time and I guess it's about family and loss and what makes life worth living. I reread it a lot).

17. 3 tv couples you adore the most: I KNOW I'll wake up at 4am going "WAIT WHY DIDN'T I SAY--" but the first 3 to pop into my head were Ri Jeong Hyeok and Yoon Se-ri from Crash Landing On You (entirely @wendy-daahling's fault, I swear this show altered my brain chemistry forever); Clarke Griffin and Bellamy Blake from The 100 (technically not "a couple" but YES THEY ARE and they are so so special); and this is so basic of me but it's true, Nick Miller and Jessica Day from New Girl.
