Godrick is 100% Godwyn’s son with Fortissax. And his frail body is due to the dragon blood attempting to change him like it does when you do dragon communion, but his demigod blood prevents a natural evolution. It is also why he can easily graft the young dragon onto him and make full command of it.

now that im working again for the summer im probably going to buy elden ring when i get my first paycheck. rpgs are usually a hit or miss for me but i've seen the gameplay and i think i'd like it// sheesh I’ll say you’re better than me when it comes to village cuz I already told myself I would never touch the village of shadows difficulty 💀 I definitely had some fun chase scenes with lady d around the castle before I eventually went on and did her boss fight :( I think when I finally played again I did enough to where I think my next area is Heisenberg’s factory.

but you definitely gotta get elden ring. I got it last week or the week before? but I’m like lvl 36 and I picked the samurai class and I keep getting my ass handed to me lmao. it’s also my first souls game ever so there’s definitely a learning curve for me

jadjfjsjsj after i finished the game the first time i was talking with my roommate and i was like “what if i replayed it on the hardest difficulty just for shits and gigs” and thus began the most excruciating experience of any game i’ve ever played but i was too stubborn to give up. i think besides miranda, the fights i spent the longest on were bela, lady d, and moreau. nothing about house beneviento really changes and heisenberg is fine if you spam him in the face with the sniper rifle during the on foot portion

i’ve never played a dark souls game either but elden ring is only really connected to those games by the mechanics so i will be jumping into that whenever i get it

The funniest thing and also the most canon thing I can think of, is that Miquella looked exactly like Godrick when he was a baby, and Malenia lets him off every fight because all she can think of is “I wish my brother was as old and weird looking as my stupid older brother”

Talking about Morgott’s relationship with Godrick to my partner when he corrects me from calling Morgott Godrick’s Father. And that only made me think of that’s probably how they both see each other, but neither will ever say it out loud because they both think they’re unworthy of love and recognition

Morgott doesn’t even care about the grafting. Godrick is still Godrick the Golden for him. And his golden nephew has always been more his than Godwyn’s. The imperfect son for an imperfect father. He loves his brother, but he is not blind to his fallings to provide for his sickly son.

Tall Godrick lives in my head like a screen saver. I spin him around my skull like a marble in an empty bowl.

He is roughly as tall as Godfrey, maybe a head taller. But he is sick and has a hunch due to the weight of his body and his fragile bones. He looks like a simple man from a distance, pathetic even. But the closer you come, the larger he gets, to the point when you feel small and insignificant next to him.

He is the last of the demigods, true blooded and heir to the throne. The grandson of the first Consort. Son of the golden son of the royal lineage. Nephew to the current king. Nephew to the avatar of gods. Nephew of the Blood Royal line. Nephew to the heir of rot. He is the sole heir of his fruitful line.

And if only he had been a little bit healthier.

Godrick’s little scions:

Gostoc, the eldest.

Gillard, the Knight of Storm, the eldest daughter. 5 arms, a black polished suit of armor and a deep green cape. Has 9 eyes grafted onto her face.

Gwenfair, the beautiful. Godrick’s one and only omen child. Died of consumption during a harsh winter, buried under Marika’s statue at the Chapel of Antecipation in a grave fit for a royal princess.

Gwenhael and Glenmoril, the twins of perfect red hair. Godrick is deeply confused where that came from. They stay at Fringefolk Hero’s Grave, grafting their limbs onto each other, swapping arms and legs with precision and ease.

Gal, the wanderer. Currently lost at Liurnia of the Lake. Might be pretending to be a giant crayfish for a lark. His laugher echoes into the dark moonless nights.

Godwyn II, currently in the process of amassing a small company of puppets to invade Mt. Gelmir. The yellow glow of his eyes is many shades different from the one of all his siblings.

Geford, the youngest. Living at Stormveil under the watchful eye of his eldest brother. After the harsh attack of a particularly strong tarnished, he had his body grafted onto an elongated torso, like a centipede.

Godrick as a child, the only child growing up at the royal castle, desperately in need of a friend, trying to convince this other kid who looks just like him to come and play. But Miquela is both not a child, and deeply resentful of things that remind him of his current predicament. A sobbing Godrick, long limbed and awkward, sickly and alone, sits in the room right before Miquela’s study, asking and begging to be let inside. He will be good. He will behave.

It is Malenia who finds him, hours later. She doesn’t stop to think, to consider the situation. She is not angry. She just scoops her nephew onto her arms and manages to find the perfect fit for his awkward body, right at her hip. They do not talk about it. But this would be the first time of many, that Malenia would just wander the castle with her nephew at her hip. Their heads, golden and red bend towards each other.

I wish I was able to write small Godrick/Tarnished things without feeling a compulsive need to info dump about Stormveil Castle and my ideas about gender

Restarting as a confessor and suddenly realizing you have a sword you can barely use, a simple shield, pitiful armor, and incantations that allow you to heal and hide. Perfect for the pitiful l coward of a tarnished I am roleplaying as.

Patrician only wants to go back home or die. Whichever comes first. Sadly for them, I am gonna lock them inside a castle where limbs is the main mode of barter.

I’m restarting Elden Ring. I saw Agheel, then spent the next 10 minutes running around them and the small town, constructing in my mind this whole dragon worship cult in the lake, and that the dragon lives there because Godrick is the son of Godwyn, so it calls to reason that he would he able to commune with dragons as well.

Godrick 100% can not. But Scion #4 Gellard can, and everyone is very proud of them.

Once I have a bit more free time, I will buy 5 teddy bears of different types so I can sew it on the prime teddy, who will get a little green vest I will crochet for them. Godrick will be born until the end of 2023. This is my yearly goal
