I was going through a list of flowers, and their symbolism with the intent of finding some info for future reference when I came upon the Belledonna.
Atropa belladonna, commonly known as belladonna or deadly nightshade, is a toxic perennial herbaceous plant in the nightshade family Solanaceae.
An alternative name for the belladonna according to a review on one of the sites I looked through was 'The assassin's drug' in past history, because it tastes sweet, and causes death.
Another review came up to say that Belladonnas help with fevers, and a third one said that the op had a cystoscopy on their left kidney, and the surgical notes stated that once the stone, and equipment were removed, a "Belladonna & Opium suppository" was administrated (B&O for short); they are common after kidney stone removal procedures because they help control what is essentially a painful post-op cramping of the urethra.
The name originates from it's historic use by women, as bella donna is Italian for 'beautiful woman'. It was used to dilate woman's pupils since it was considered to be attractive, and seductive.
In light of my short research, I assume that Dazai used this as a pet name for the women he invites to double suicides knowing all of this. A beautiful woman that agrees to a double suicide would be a deathly one, but her presence would bring comfort alongside the death to come.
It would make a funny pun for florists/plant enthusiasts (me)/pharmacists, and maybe even doctors out there who are exposed to Dazai's flirtatious pick up lines.
'Just being in the presence of your beauty makes my heart race, my dear Belladonna!'
'You should go see a doctor then, my chemistry would start affecting your digestive system pretty soon if you don't hurry lol'

Dazai x Reader
Decided to write this because I’m stupid and had this happen to me yesterday in my dorm room. This makes two times I’ve accidentally OD’d and I wanna cry because I’m not trying, but I still suffer through the side effects. Parallels: Kunikida=Professors (ironically) Dazai=roommate (we were gonna watch BSD) (Y/N)=Me
TW: Accidentally Overdosing, mentions of suicide
Another long day of work at the office and covering for Dazai. He and (Y/N) both had returned home, eaten dinner, and retreated to the bedroom with plans for a night of lust and love. Dazai was in the bedroom reading his “Guide to Suicide” book while (Y/N) was taking her medicine. She took the dose of pills from the weekly night pill container, but then came the stupid liquid medicine. It comes with an eye dropper to measure the correct amount of drops (in this case 3) but sometimes it’s stupid and is too hard to control, so an extra drop will fall out. Normally, that isn’t a problem because the medication relaxes the brain to avoid any anxieties or nervousness triggering effects of the condition it’s meant to treat. However, when (Y/N) went to do her daily dose, they came out too fast and she accidentally dropped 2 extra drops. Since it’s 2 extra, (Y/N) assumed it wouldn’t be too bad and she didn’t say anything to Dazai when she returned to bed with him…until about 10 minutes later when it became difficult to move. Dazai being Dazai sensed that something was off and asked, “Belladonna, are you ok?”. It was difficult, but (Y/N) managed to say, “I…took too…many…drops” Dazai knew that (Y/N) isn’t suicidal by any means, so he also figured it was an accident. Now this particular medicine isn’t lethal if someone OD’d (due to the prescriber explaining) so he helped (Y/N) get comfortable and turned off his phone, since he knew Kunikida would call in the morning, before falling asleep. (Y/N) slept for 14 hours.
