Sol is basically borderline ruan mei, he dgaf, he is putting himself in 20 pounds of radiation if it means he makes a new weapon for fun. He wanted to ascend to an archon-hood through mechanical works or some shit, fucked up humanity and is working for the fatui, making them weapons yadayada for the fun of it and they allow him to.

He occasionally visits the quarters to distribute his silly little gadgets for testing (he made sure it was safe before putting to test) and thats when he met childe and they became best buddies because makes weapons x uses and breaks them and theyre both insane so it works i guess. And he learn first aid + pursuing medicine in Sumeru just so that he can tend to childe’s wounds because test subject + he cares for him.

Despite this, he doesnt agree with Dottore work ethics as he has a personal moral code for humans. He would never test dangerous things on others, he would do it on himself. (Learnt it the hard way after he accidentally lobotomized his twin brother)

Ok back on rambling, here’s some post-talia fenrir.

He was Dr Ratio’s student to gain the elementary foundation before heading off to pursue linguistic and literature. He would earn a doctorate pretty soon after cuz he lowk a freak with languages and now he’s teaching alongside Dr Ratio too. They are not in the IPC together, but the organization that Fenrir is in often collab with the Intelligentsia Guild so basically, he’s the honorary IPC member.

Fenrir sometimes nag the doctor to let him join the Guild, even threatening with the invitation from The Riddlers (he did join them but Dr Ratio doesnt know yet)

The students under Fenrir does noticed a competitive undertone/tension between the two doctors, but not many knew about their past together. Its a funny thing. They would often compare their students achievements for fun too.

As a token of thanks, Fenrir dedicated almost 89% of his research to the Avgin-Sigonian dialect for Aventurine and chose to study the language as his dissertation. It was a little funny thing as people keep seeing ihm around the strategic investment department trying to butter up aventurine and was like “what the fuck is this guy doing here bro” and bawm in like 4 months or smth a piece of linguistic and archeology research was birthed

- its time for a group huddle with Mallows (the cat in a bee costume) as their advisor. Mallows keeps going down in the basement, maybe bc Fone is there? Idk but yea, im just going to make him my warden. Mallows will be MC's eyes.. But something happen:

- well, Mallows the Cat in a Bee Costume, is a strict warden. He keeps hissing and ends up fighting with Nova and Fone (the betrayal). Everytime they do group huddle, Mallows are doing jiu jitsu on them 😂 The reason: Mallows just woke up and choose violence that day.

-and theres Friend, the type of roommate who loves to clean, like the first thing he do is judge my kitchen counter and brushed it aggresively, like hey its not even dirty!? Friend doesnt care that he has been trapped in a basement. The most important thing is to make this place clean. The entire time, besides Mallows Wrestlemania segment, Rens infamous Mac & Cheese and the group meeting, he goes back cleaning and washing the dishes.

- and here is Ezra questioning how MC pulled a reverse uno card on him and yep! thats the face of pure regrets of eating Ren's Mac & Cheese. (I missed to take a screenshot of that moment when Ren is cooking Mac and Cheese, Fone and Nova keeps teaching him how to cook, Ren dropping the salt shaker in the pan and Ezra being the first one to eat it)

- Nova and Harper fighting for this one bed, even tho there are 7 beds. They keep doing a staring contest, whoever blink, will lose this bed (like its always this bed, sometimes if Harper is the one who sleep on this one, Nova would sleep on the floor instead of choosing another bed 😭 Nova, i have this urge to put a vent on the basement just to spite you.. FINAL THOUGHTS:

dude that first issue was wordy but the kids were ON POINT. they were so fun!! their dialogue is fun and they kick ass.

i loved yi announcing the punishment for casey while the others were like NOO SHE DIDNT MEAN THAT DONT LISTEN TO HER. we're getting more of their personalities and it's great!! it was a nice throwback to issue 2 of lost years when they were cleaning - yi refused to help because of how strictly she was following instructions. im picking up that she might be neurodivergent but i did get that from the lost years too - only doing things within strict instructions, getting frustrated at teaching odyn chess, not because of him playing horseys with the knights but that it was Against The Rules Of Chess - and now not picking up on some social cues. It's nice to see!! I love her very much, but it feels like besides rehashing the origin story she took a bit of a backseat to the other three.

i want to know more about why uno said being a rebel was moja's 'thing', since she didn't seem to be any more rebellious than the other three in this issue. we didn't get any unique interactions between her and casey marie which is what i felt was lacking from lost years but i wonder if this is hinting towards a more turbulent mother-daughter dynamic with them... I REALLY HOPE SO!! her and uno butting heads in a leo-raph way is very fun - i don't mind one or two prior group dynamics leaking into the new turtle siblings because they're all so different from the original 4.

uno seems to be taking on slightly more of a leader role than moja so i think he won the title of fearless leader. which is fine, i think it'll be fun to see and he's definitely less of an asshole now than when he was growing up in lost years. still picking on odyn a bit but seems to snipe at moja just as much. even when he was commenting on yi's storytelling he didn't make fun of her, though - i think she may have inherited the 2k3 don ability of being Completely Unbullyable.

i was really pleased that odyn felt more involved!! i feel like he took the backseat a few times in lost years - it was fun seeing more of his personality shine through! he and yi seem to get on the best, and i giggled at them rolling their eyes at moja and uno's raph-leo schtick. i didn't expect him to TURN TO FUCKING STONE THOUGH, so i'm nervous about that. WHAT DOES IT MEAN? WHO DID THIS TO MY BOY? IS HE GOING TO TURN BACK NEXT CHAPTER OR IS HE OUT OF COMMISSION UNTIL THE END OF THE RUN??? (if it's the latter i'll be a bit annoyed - don't take odyn away from the equation please!!)

I do wonder if by introducing casually that they can PSYCHICALLY CONNECT, the turtles will use that as a technique to reach odyn's mind to make sure he's still in there and piece together what's happened to him. i mean, their casual telepathy has gotta be some sort of chekhov's gun right?

as always, casey marie... u have aged like fine wine. u are stunning. disappointed that ur still believing that jiro can do good as a cop when their entire police force and government is corrupt as fuck. just feels very naive of her. i'm excited to see her break down at the concept of losing odyn - in fact i need everyone to mourn this beautiful kid. they tell us so much that shes a super clingy helicopter mom and i am picking up on the strict part, but it would be nice to see more of her just... hugging her kids. holding them. i get why she didnt in this issue but id love more mama casey squishing their cheeks and kissing their foreheads.

i have zero fucking clue what's going on with odyn. im wondering if it's somehow related to nano, or to whatever project April is working on - she says it's to do with clearing the tunnels, but I''m not convinced. who knows, there might be some ulterior motive happening.

The Antagonist of My Life. My Mother.

My mother.. played a HUGE role in my life....

Now don't get me wrong.. things are better between me and her now but with my first 22 years of my life. she's given me hell. I never understood it till later that it was simply because Girls get it more rough than boys. Growing up I NEVER saw my mom lay a finger on him for anything. Instead every single thing I did.. where I was simply just a child THAT DOESNT KNOW ANYTHING... gets a bunch of beatings that she's gonna remember for the rest of her life. I remember crying so much, I remember hiding under a table, hovering in a corner while STILL getting slapped and beaten by my mother.. as I have a meltdown, I even locked myself in the bathroom for 20 minutes. My father had no role.. he wasn't able to do anything . So I'm just backed up in a corner getting hit as my father and brother sit on the side and watch. Like that's not traumatizing? for a Mother to stand there and beat and beat and beat her YOUNG child, daughter that is probably around 6-7 years old.. as she is screaming in pain from getting beaten. what kind of a mother does that. Does this child not have feelings?? Is this child suppose to not feel the pain? WHAT is this teaching the child? AS A CHILD... I was convinced she didn't want me to be happy, I was convinced she found pleasure in beating me every week, talking down on me, discouraging me, telling me all the things I liked was stupid.

So years go by.. all that abuse did something to me. it turned me into an easily agitated teenager, (Gee I wonder where I got that from). And I wasn't going to be those kids that commit suicide because of strict parents or being under pressure. So I got tired from my moms physical abuse one day when I was in mid-high school.

Her abusive hits didn't phase me anymore. Her 'discipline' wasn't going to do shit to me anymore. One Day when she raised her hand at me... I didn't cry, I looked at her dead in the eye... and just walked to my room so I didn't have to hear from her for the rest of the night. Another time where she wanted to give me a word (and a hand) I finally spoke up to her, she was hella surprised. My bro and Dad was surprised too . I said my piece, she told me I was making excuses. I told her it wasn't excuse. I wasn't going to easily back down. I wasn't going to give her that satisfaction of ME keeping quiet and crying, and having it end up being a meltdown. I wasn't going to let her be the only crazy one now. She created one... That's on her... And I want her to remember what she started and what she created.

So you see... Because of her I somehow always see the negative in most friendships I make. because I was treated so poorly when I was little, everytime I meet somebody I want to befriend, I would have higher expectations and always oversee a small negative . My mother never taught me how to treat others.. she taught me nothing but pain.

So fast forward to college.. I LIVED AWAY for college.. and it was the greatest 3 years ever. why? cause I was actually away from that toxic household and I was actually able to do what I want on my own. Met lots of cool people, partied, went out, talked to some boys, Figured myself out lots. College was done, I move back.. and yes everything was tense again. Keep in mind I went towards the Media Arts career path.. My mother thought that was a joke. So when it came to finding jobs.... she pestered me LOTS about it and it stressed me out a lot. pressured me into applying for jobs that I didn't find suited for myself. Now yes this is a different stage of my life.. They made me anxious on even finding a job. My mother made me feel like shit. This is where emotional and mental abuse comes in more. and when I finally landed a job at a well known company..

Things switched. I was suddenly the daughter they were proud of o.0 I'm the daughter that works at 'This place' WoW Im the daughter that's going to make a lot of money from this place. ...... That gave my phony vibes. Now that I'm making decent money.. your nice to me?? Now that other companies see my potential, you suddenly see it too?? Nah, you shattered my spirit for 22 years. You've emotionally and mentally brought me down almost everyday for 23 years. I'm not getting my years back.

Because of all this... a part of me resents her for how I ended up as a person. Every moment of hell she gave me, I remember it vividly.

Personally I like to think so; just like how I like to think there's more than 3 schools (which, granted, arent as big as hexside/glandus/saint epiderm), and different isles with their own ways of living. But hey, thats just me

He starts off as an abominations professor, and does that for a few years

Let's him get a handle of being a teacher, which admittedly, does take some time getting used to since he's always been the student before

Oh and he's still as awkward as he is as a VP; just more so, since he has even LESS experience than he did before and is still trying to find his footing

He won't tell on you to Faust if you're doing something harmless, but he will lightly scold you if it's causing a disruption

Basing this off my own experience with a new teacher but imagine Bump is passing out stickers to a almost empty class, almost everyone skipped because of some event (eg. Field trip or senior skip day) and he's giving stickers to those who still turned up for class. Doesnt matter what color star you choose, he's gonna ask if its your favorite color and also say its his favorite color as well in literally the most awkward yet robotic voice

But I think he'd also like playing and making games with his students, especially studying games. Makes studying fun and helps the kids engage and remember the material; sometimes he'll even throw in a prize if the game had winners. Something small, like candy

One of the few times in his early career where he's not awkward, gwts very into the game and just flows with it

just to be clear, i am not bullying katie's dog, but sometimes i am worried she will think i AM buklying her dog just because i'm more strict with her than she is. like today mimi peed in a place she is not supposed to pee and then she walked through it and tracked pee all over the floor. so i was like okay. you are not coming up into My Bed (the couch) to sit with me today or until you take a bath. and katie was like ohhhh i'll wipe her feet and i'm like YUCK!!! like she already smells like dog and sort of needs a bath anyway i'm not going to let her peepee feet on the furniture. and when mimi eats something she should not my response is to show mimi the thing she chewed up and ate, which she knows is wrong bc she gets all quiet and tries to turn away, and i use my stern voice to say "no. bad mimi. no." and then i put her in her little baby box (a bunch of dividers used to make a dog space that mimi doesnt like to be trapped in while people are home) until i'm done cleaning up her mess and/or until she is done crying about being put in the box. whereas katie just tells her no and then lets her continue to snuffle around the house for more shit to rip up. i also put mimi in the baby box if i take a shower or go outside even if its just for a little while because i've come back several times to shit ripped up/garbage gotten into !!! like she's not a dog that can be trusted. idk. maybe i AM being too mean but dogs need training and discipline and as much as katie stresses the importance of those things i do not think she has actually done like anything? to train mimi beyond getting her to go peepee on the peepee mat and teaching her to sit.

AU id say he definitely smells like dark roast coffee and old books. wears a sort of musky, old timey smelling cologne with spicy citrus notes. keeps to himself, doesn’t really interact with the other professors, but may strike up a short conversation with maintenance or the cleaning staff in the evening. even though he’s a strict man he sports a more casual appearance than one would think. im thinking just regular slacks n shoes, rolled up sleeves to his forearms, usually wears a black turtleneck or dark button down shirt with a few too many buttons open if the AC is busted (again), thick salt and pepper hair slightly tussled as its been run through by his fingers because these fucking kids can’t even double space their essays how did they pass high-school.

purposefully writes comments on their papers ‘see me after class’, even if its the most well-written dissertation he’s read all year. he’s rather knowledgeable and will always find something to offer correction on. as ‘punishment’, he tells them to help him prepare for the next class by writing what he tells them on the chalkboard. this is when his usual low key tone, shifts to something else.

and if he’s feeling particularly snippy he’ll snap a ruler on his desk to startle them, possibly messing them up further, barely bothering to stop the smile dancing on his lips. he still throws in a smart ‘thank you’ when theyre done that definitely doesn’t make up for his brash behavior. its hard to tell if his harsh interactions are serious or a ploy of flirtation, but its intense enough to get under the skin every time that they are completely flustered when they gather their things to leave his room.

its wrong to be tormenting his own innocent pupil like this- many would say the poor thing doesn’t deserve it and the professor's intentions aren’t noble. but its not wrong if they keep coming back, right? not that he gives a damn, nor gives them much of a choice; he’s not exactly a model on morality. besides, a man can have a little fun, no?

oh boy okay well, tbh im in camp 'mitsuki and masaru bakugou are assholes' so disclaimer right away: This is not a mitsuki/masaru friendly post.

also, i got most my inspiration/ideas from Sif, her hc's and fics are amazing.

This is gonna be very general probably and also pretty messy/ all over the place but if anyone wants me to elaborate or clarify then just lmk. 

ALRIGHT SO, first and foremost, i think the bakugou’s r really neglectful. Theyve always worked very busy jobs together in the fashion industry and they go on lots of work trips and stuff. i think that from the moment they deemed it possible, mitsuki and masaru have been letting katsuki stay home alone for long periods of time. as katsuki kept getting older and more independent (which he had to be) I imagine theyd gradually start leaving for longer and longer. 

also, i think that the communication in the house is TERRIBLE. like, often times mitsuki and masaru would just not inform katsuki of their whereabouts and katsuki wouldnt inform them of his either cause,, nobody ever asked/cared. So most of the time katsuki’d just find out his parents are gone whenever theyre literally not there and then its just like, ‘shit, nobody made dinner’. or smth. 

and, obviously, the bad communication does not stop there. I feel like especially when he was younger, mitsuki would contradict herself on lots of things (as lots of parents do) like ”you are the child and i am the adult, therefore you must listen to me” but then she’s also like “You are not a child, stop acting like one and get your shit together”. Little katsuki would get so frustrated at this and so confused. I imagine that eventually he’d realize he can never be in the right with her, and thats when he starts resenting her a lot which builds up.

oh btw, I should mention; i dont think katsuki was planned at all. I dont think that mitsuku or masaru wanted to have a kid but then they did and it kinda threw their life around (obviously). mostly for mitsuki i think this effected her career quite heavily for a time and she’s blamed that on katsuki ever since. so she’s always resented him on a level.

But yeah, as i was saying, i think mitsuki and masaru r those types of people that were just never fit to be parents. they dont have the patience or care that u need for a child and it shows. I think masaru is the type to ignore and mitsuki is the type to get frustated too easily and lose her cool. So whenever katsuki was being ‘annoying’ or ‘bad’ he’d immediately be shut up or ignored. No time for explanations or reasoning.

Now, if we go back a step,, katsuki is a super independent kid. a consequence to this is that he’s had to teach himself a lot of things and sometimes those things just arent right. He doesnt know that though because he’s had to collect his knowledge from all over the place, which he thinks is normal. so then for example: maybe he’s fought with a kid at school and the bakugou’s are called. They’re both extremely mad at him but he doesnt understand why. If he gets hit, why would he not be allowed to hit too? Is that not how it works? WOuldn’t that be unfair?

but yeah, because he’s basically had to figure the world out himself, with mostly bad influences to look up to. he’s got a pretty messed up worldview. 

Now, i ALSO think that despite mitsuki and masaru not really caring about katuski in general, they DO want to have that ‘we have a good kid’ status, yknow? like, they cant have katsuki embarrassing them or something. I think he’d be dragged along to a lot of places he never wanted to go (dinners, fashion shows, whatever) and forced to wear all fancy clothes and act all neat with no reward. consequences for ‘being a little bitch’ as his mom puts it, are not pretty.

he’s a smart and talented kid too though, and it seems, even to masaru and mitsuki, like he doesnt have to do much for it. which makes them think he’s lazy and stuff and thats not good. so they expect him to work for everything he does at 100% . again, consequences are not pretty.

generally as well, i think there are so many fights in the house. katuski speaks up whenever he disagrees with bullshit and even though he’s never won an argument, he’s always wanted to. so he’s not going to stop. 

so yeah, basically theyre strict, neglectful and abusive. There are extreme’s they go to, and because katsuki is just the type to disobey shit he doesnt agree with, those are often used.

It’s been said by Sif before, but i really like the idea that todoroki and bakugou both had bad childhoods but in opposite directions. Thats probably the best way to describe it.

Actually, Ive had a fic in my head for a long time that would partly focus on katsuki’s entire childhood and kinda explain my thoughts on it

If u start to cry he’ll first awkwardly do that thing that people do when they don’t know how to console someone and rub your arm and he’s like “Uhh, do u want water?” Bc he’s sad bc UR sad and doesn’t know what to do and it’s like what he’s doing isn’t that helpful but the tone in his voice is v consoling and comforting bc he’s suddenly kinda quiet 4 once

If ur sobbing he’ll hold u and u cry into his shirt and later he’ll talk about how you got it all wet but like when he goes home in the mirror and sees the tear stains it reminds him ur hurt and breaks his heart

He will study with you. And by studying it’s just him like sitting with you while you study. He doesn’t think you should study but if that’s how you want to solve this and feel better he’s down. He won’t read anything but if u have flash cards he will read them back to you and ask u questions and he doesn’t know the right answer himself (unless it’s math he’s probably rlly rlly good at math.) so u have to write them on the back. But he’s pretty good at helping u study

And if ur doing flash cards, he won’t tell u the answer until u guess it and he’s good at hinting to it and he gets annoyed VERY easily when ur not saying the answer u wrote on the back but bites it down

If ur parents make u stay home more and study as like a consequence of gettig a bad grade, he won’t have any of it

He will either confront ur parents and that either makes things somewhat better or incredibly worse

So if that’s what happens he’ll text u a lot and face time u in secret and call u a lot so even tho ur not together, every time u come home from school and open a book ur phone is hidden in the bend of it and ur fting and sometimes u don’t even talk he’s just FaceTiming u so u won’t b alone while u study and bc he misses u

Overall, he really couldn’t give a shit about grades but if need be, he’ll help u with urs, he’d be the best math tutor if ur looking, if ur parents lock u up a lot to study more bc they’re mad he will use any other option to see u, and he’ll try his best to console u despite not being that knowledgeable or understanding why you’re upset. His go to comfort option is distraction, but if it’s futile he’ll do whatever it is u wanna do. -wants to get information that's as objective as possible (e.g. deliberately reading 3 different newspapers from 3 very different political viewpoints), but doesnt value information for information's sake; teaching is always focused on 1) advice and information she regards as useful to us (rather than following a syllable) and 2) personal anecdotes

-stark difference between her role as a teacher and her as a person (e.g. strict, professional and rule-focused during lessons, as well as towards other teachers. More laid-back and friendly/ open during projects or trips. When you first experience it, it seems like youre talking to two different people - it's not that her "professional side" isn't friendly (always has time to answer practical questions and help students, even with things that arent related to school) just that she gives off an overall friendlier vibe (e.g. more smiling)

(2/2) strong focus on being professional and neutral at work (e.g. shes the one who writes the schedules and puts extra emphasis on not putting colleagues she gets along with at an advantage) -phrases everything as fact - ive never heard phrases like "i think that x" or "i feel like x" from her

apparent contradictions between words and actions ("wrong answers are better than no answers/ you can learn from your mistakes", then proceeding to - sorry - shit on wrong answers. She either doesnt know or care about the effect this has on some students. i would assume the former; she doesnt seem socially unaware at all, but that still seems more likely than being uncaring - that is not at all the impression she gives off imo)

To be honest a lot of this feels just like someone having a different demeanor in an academic setting than in a more casual one, which is entirely normal for most people. I also get the sense from the last paragraph that you don't happen to like her style, but honestly I don't even see this as a contradiction - if she's saying "this answer is stupid" then yes, that's a problem, but it sounds like she's just highly critical of wrong answers, which is how you learn from mistakes! Wrong answers are better because at least you're engaging, but they are still wrong and it's worth picking them apart.

Anyway, because you are seeing only a specific angle of her this is hard to type. Tangents are often more of an Ne-Si thing and deliberately seeking out as many viewpoints as possible rather than synthesizing one more internally is usually more Ti, so I'd possibly look at xNTP, but it's very tentative.

fan service isn’t a Bad Thing, i think we sort of expect it to be, but it’s actually not. a lot of season two relied on fan service which is why it’s so much weaker than season one — like skywalker’s cameo is fan service, ahsoka’s episode is fan service, BOBA FETT BEING ALIVE???? fan service. it’s not a bad thing, and it’s not handle sloppily in this episode with bo like the rest of the season. and when i mean strongest, i mean it can stand alone, it does t need the rest of the season to look good — i think this episode is stronger than it’s counterparts. like what, is the passenger a better episode? like i do not know what u want from me.

also din is passive? that’s the whole joke of the season if not the SHOW is that he doesn’t want to be the main character ?? like, i think this episode showed din being a passive mandalorian and showed bo katan being aggressive, that’s important  — AND ITS ONE EPISODE ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE din is the main character still and the episode was still about him like sure it featured a lot of bo katan and her crew but it also showed a lot of din and grogu too like?? okay??? 

as for din’s clan, before season two, it was always speculated that din’s covert was an extremist group — some even thought it was a part of deathwatch, the armor of the mando that saves din was a similar shade of blue. it would have had to been an extremist group, because other mandos from rebels and the clone wars have removed their helmets and still are considered mandalorian. from an outsider, the children of the watch would look like a cult, because they have extremely strict rules based around religious teachings of the Way, and if you break those rules you don’t get to stay in the covert and you lose your beskar. they also rescue children with no family left and have them join the group, THEY INDOCTRINATE CHILDREN INTO THEIR RELIGION and that’s not sus??? i’m not saying bo katan is a proper mandalorian, and im not saying din is bad or a cult member, but bo katan’s comment does have some truth, even if it’s harsh. the cult comment is rough, especially coming from miss deathwatch sure, but from a mandalorian outsider, you’d be annoyed too if you had to re-educate someone who’s been completely sheltered. that’s why i think it makes sense that din doesn’t know about every mando clan and lifestyle — he’s extremely sheltered. i think it explains a lot about din, and his upbringing. it speaks a lot to the children of the watch that they don’t even tell din the name of their covert, they tell him from a young age that This is the Literal Only Way, and now din is learning that there’s more to mandalorian culture. 

i don’t think it ruins all aspect of din knowing about other coverts or mandos, there’s a line that din is looking for mandos and coverts. he assumes that his way of life is the only way, and mandos have to live underground and hide their face. whether this is din just being sheltered and making assumptions or actually true (half the mando pop is in the children of the watch, half isn’t), i don’t really know. as we haven’t seen another covert, i’m assuming that din just assumed every mandalorian was like him. 

i’ll be honest — i am not apart of a persecuted religious minority, so i feel uncomfortable trying to speak on that. all i will offer is my own perspective on the scene/line. it’s very possible that this is a dig at religious practices, but this might also be another reference to mandalorian infighting, and how no one mandalorian group is appreciated by the next. this could be setting up the wielder of the dark saber uniting (again) the clans and factions of mandalorians to take back mandalore. 

also, your comment about the show being directed by “white non religious men” isn’t true, jon and dave are show runners, but there have been multiple directors who have been women or members of the BIPOC community, actually the best episodes have not been directed by white men. the heiress was directed by bryce dallas howard, so ok. 

i am by no means an expert, esp since my degree is a fucking studio art degree, but whether or not you think i’m qualified to give a hot take or analysis on an episode of a fictional tv show doesnt give you the right to be a dick because i think a character is hot, like please

first of all- none of those heroes are QUALIFIED to teach in the slightest. as far as we know they were just CALLED IN , and knowing the hero commision and its sway on hero ANYTHING thats what im guessing DID happen.

aizawa has lied to his students. which i cannot tolerate tbh. u have been given the fucking PRIVILAGE to foster the next generation of TOP NOTCH heroes and you dont even give them the respect of being truthful? are u kidding me?

he's strict on them and further pushes them beyond what he should. theyre fucking 15-16 you have YEARS to improve so calm tf down , shota.

he puts pressure on them to save themselves and others in situations that were avoidable if he had just talked back to U.A and the commision. [the camp incident and ya know THE FUCKING WAR-] if he had actually gave a shit about them he wouldnt have let that shit slide. u dont get to make excuses when youre handling children.

he activly continued a test even when he knew it rlly fucked with momo's mental health and confidence. it was pure luck that shoto ACCIDENTLY helped her during that episode.

he forced the remidial classes to go from late at night to about 3-4 AM as i remember. thats sleep depriving children , shota. what the fuck.

he makes the excuse "theyre gonna be heroes". but they cant be heroes if their mental health or THEY THEMSELVES are fucking dead by the time they graduate.

not like heroes matter now anyway.

SO THAT- that is why shota aizawa is a shit teacher.

yet again as a person hes fine. i dont mind him. ide prefer him over a number of other charectors- but as a teacher is just doesnt cut it. none of the U.A staff rlly do besides the like- shop teacher power-lifter. he's the only one whos qualified for his position technically.
