Been hearing the rumors about Scarecrow making an appearance in Matt Reeves’s series and on one hand, this is an exciting prospect, on the other….I’m growing increasingly concerned it’s just that Julian Rush motherfucker.

Jonathan Crane should be visually distinctive in some way (and say what you will about Cillian Murphy being too conventionally attractive, he is still *distinctive*) and the man playing Rush just looks like Some Guy. I’m a firm believer that Crane should come off as unnerving—not slimy and sleazy.

Rush looks like the type of man who would give you unwanted opinions on craft beers and still religiously reads Buzzfeed articles which is (and I cannot stress this enough) NOT the vibe Crane should have!!!
