open question for MDZS fans who know more about Chinese: I noticed the wiki says Qingheng-jun is a courtesy name.

since it has the suffix -jun I'd been assuming it was a title, like Cangse-sanren or 3zun, whose titles ending in -jun/-zun are different from their actual courtesy names.

The wiki makes accurate, clear distinctions between courtesy names and titles for everyone else, so I'm curious if this is just an error on his page or not.

is it ever mentioned in the novel text why this is the case, or if Qingheng-jun is a courtesy name rather than a title separate from an unrevealed actual name? Would Lan Qingheng then be an alternative version of his courtesy name?

Canonically he was renowned as a famous cultivator at a young age, but Lan Wangji was the same, and he is known separately as Hanguang-jun. So why the -jun for Qingheng-jun if that really is his courtesy name and not a title?

I don't know anything about how it works but I'm deeply curious now that I've noticed that difference LOL
