Thai basil is such a prolific flowerer (Ocimum basilicum thyrsifolium) is native to Southeast Asia. It’s more stable under high or extended cooking temperatures than sweet basil. Like sweet basil it’s really easy to strike in water. This plant hasn’t been cut back and has REALLY long flower spikes. I keep the seedpods and plant or strike cuttings. It’s really easy to propagate.
