For context, this guy has:

Built a Marble-powered music machine (you've probably seen that video)

Decided to completely redesign it from the ground up half a year later because the original wasn't good enough to go on Tour with.

Called it the Marble Machine 2.

Got about 7/8ths the way through designing that one, gave up and started from scratch again.

"Marble machine X".

Got that almost 80% done as a final project.

Fans pick up and complete the Mable Machine 2 design.

Started a new machine from scratch AGAIN, called Marble machine X-T

Drags through the final construction of the Marble machine X because over 10k people are paying him on patreon with the promise of the MMX.

Now the dude's making a device to measure gravity to make marble drops more consistent. Instead of just making a felt catching tray underneath for the 1 in 40 THOUSAND marble that falls out.
