Thank you for the Corey brainrot caused by that calendar post, I really appreciate it. It made me reread their romance chart and I noticed one of their ideal date is a picnic?! Like hello, how cute is that?! Especially knowing they have a sweet tooth?! They need someone who treats them well, bakes them cupcakes and whatever goodies they wish for all the time! Oh they need to be spoiled! 🤍

And yes!!!! Anything that combines food and quality time with loved ones is a top tier Corey activity. A picnic in particular really just works for them since its all the fun of your typical dinner date without the issues that come with being a telepath in a crowded public place. Ortega has made "take Corey out on a picnic date" a routine event. They started right after the nanosurge. Corey was having pretty severe migraines whenever they had to use their telepathy in big crowds (still happens, less severe and less frequent though), so Ortega dragged them out to Tia Elena's ranch and set up a picnic in place of their usual "dates", and the tradition just stuck.

Rest assured that Ortega is spoiling them rotten at every given opportunity!
