Scorpions from the past
#the Scorpions are a reference to his comics and past trauma#i definitely think that ghost would have triggers or moments where he beeaks down and some of them are during really bad moments#also i post more soapghost on twitter#It's 7am and I have yet to sleep but my mind is only thinking about the next part of the comic#simon would most likely disassociate and ghost would take over#soap would blame himself because he couldn't calm him down in time to not let ghost come out#If he hadn't pressed his mouth closed so hard or bs able to properly calm down#that he wouldn't have to build this wall up again.#i also think ghost would come out especially when he realizes that Simon's directly putting not only soap but himself in harm's way#But the comfort bits where soap slowly softens ghost back up by just spending time near him#telling jokes and getting simon to realise he's safe again so he doesn't need to put up the walls#but soaps inability to help was the final straw that let ghost out so it'll be really rough to loosen his walls again#simon riley#ghostsoap#john mactavish#soapghost#fanart#mw2 fanart

Today while taking exam I saw the teaching assistant I work with (aka A Badass Forecaster) spending time reading a book written in Finnish. Naturally we ended up in conversation about languages. She told me she speaks, aside from English and native Spanish and with various degrees of knowledge, Italian, Swedish, French, German, and Mandarin. Why? Cause she loves languages.
We would have kept talking for hours if it hadn't been for our students who had more pressing concerns (help! Test ongoing!). But that convocatoria really made me wish I had a lil bit more of time to dedicate to language studying.

On the one hand, having a strict dress code for work is nice because it takes out decision fatigue, on the other this is the first time this week I haven't gotten dressed for work and now I'm all decked out and my total plans are pick up dog food and go to the park.
#screaming into the void#ive been letting myself experiment with style more so im in black skinny jeans with my sheer witchy shirt over my longsleeve fishnet top#and an insane amount of jewelry#it does feel a little incomplete without the smudged liner look but i wanna give my eyes a beeak from makeup#might throw on some black lipstick though#i feel a little silly over the whole thing but it is nice to have a creative outlet this way#i also thought about picking up some new jewelry supplies and trying my hand at some prayer bead style necklaces#i picked one up at hot topic that ive ended up wearing to honor artemis and apollo and im thinking about making one for loki#for now im trying to let myself enjoy being a little eclectic again
