1. King's Potential Date

Series

King leaves Uea alone to answer his mom calling him. While waiting, Uea deals with his own mom who was pestering him. King goes back and tells Uea right away about why his mom called. King asks Uea if he should go or not. Uea evades the question but he eventually says "only you can make that decision, King."

Novel

King's leaves Uea to answer the call. He comes back with a sour expression. Uea asks if it was one of his ex-flings. King plays along and says yes. Uea wonders if they wanted to get back with him. King was like "something like that but I've made it clear I don't want to" and Uea was like "why?". King basically says, "bc if i did, then we'll have to end our relationship," then proceeds to tell Uea that it was his mom and she wanted to set him up on blind date. Rest goes the same.

2. Alone Time? (Uncut)

Series

Scene cuts to Uea and King leaving the car. Uea asks King if he wanted to be alone and King says no. Uea was about to argue but King kisses him.

Novel

After the call, King and Uea ate in silence. Even otw home, it was quiet. When they arrived at King's place, Uea asks King if he wanted to be alone. King says no. As soon as they came into King's room, King pushed Uea to the wall and kissed him roughly. Ends up having rough sex.

3. King Apologizing

Series

King is sitting on his bed while Uea is sitting on a chair across him. King checked on Uea, asking if he was hurt. He apologizes and Uea was like "it's fine". King was about to leave to smoke but Uea stops and tells him not to do it anymore. King kisses him two times and agrees.

Novel

They are on the bed cuddling after sex. King apologized for being too rough and Uea said "it's fine." King pulled away and left the bed to smoke. Uea pulled him back and asked him not to do it. King agreed and went back to cuddling Uea. They fell asleep.

4. The Bet

Series

They are in a bar (not sure) with other people watching the game. They make a bet and King wins. Uea attempts to run away but King pulls him back. He asks King what he wanted but King couldn't think of any so he was like "can I tell you later?"

Novel

They watch the game in Uea's place, just the two of them. The made a bet and King won. King asked Uea to sit on his lap (they were both sitting on the sofa). King buried his face on Uea neck and wrapped his arms around Uea face. Ues thought that this sex is the reward King wanted so he tilted his neck to give King more access. From Uea's neck, King moved to Uea cheek planting kisses otw before tenderly kissing Uea on the lips. King pulled right away and said that he couldn't think of anything atm for Uea to do, so they go to sleep.

Bed Friend Episode 5

This was another just okay episode for me. In the beginning when Uea is drunk on the beach King says he won't take advantage of the situation and have sex with him. This is different from their scene in episode one. It seems that King cares a lot more for Uea than he used to.

As their office interactions get more obvious I'm wondering what will happen to them as the series goes on. King seems to want to be open about their relationship. At this point their relationship is like an open secret.

There were many plot points that came out, but didn't seem to go anywhere. Uea cutting his finger with the nail clipper. It just felt like a big deal was made out of it for no reason. King just pushes poor Jade to the ground to get to Uea first. But all that comes from that was their little conversation on the stairwell. Also the bet made during the soccer/football game. They made the bet and King won, but they just ended up in bed like they always do. Maybe the bet has something to do with the collar that is coming up in next week's episode.

I know their relationship is supposed to be a secret, but it seems silly that both King and Uea are best friends with Jade and continue to lie to him. I also don't understand where the matchmaking happening with King's mom or King's relationship with his mom in general is supposed to be going. We don't see the mom. We don't even have a scene where we see him talking to her on the phone. There are only 3 episodes left where is this part of the story going? This story feels a bit too complicated to be wrapped up in just 3 more episodes. As you can see this episode confused me a bit.

I can't say there was too much I liked about this episode. However, I still find these characters charming and enjoyable to watch.
