ive often wondered if there are words or categories for "milder" versions of things that usually more serious

like there are many, many occasions where i "see" something things not there (generally either a person or bugs, oddly enough), but am quickly able to rationalize it as not real and dismiss it- but its also mainly out of the corner of my eye and not a fully formed image. would that be in the category of hallucination, or is it just over active anxiety? or is it just one of those "pretty normal experiences ppl just dont feel the need to discuss"? it doesnt impact my quality of life, so it purely a matter of curiosity

To the anon with bedbugs - I totally feel that they're such a nightmare. I've been able to deal with them by putting a tent in my room and being EXTREMELY careful and it really helps keep them away from you even though it's not perfect, sorry if advice wasn't wanted I just know exterminators are so expensive and in many cases not an option. It takes a really long time but if you can avoid them you can starve them to death and eventually they won't be a problem anymore, there's also this powder stuff called diatomacious earth and if you put it where they'll crawl through it it will eventually kill them and it works super well. It's also pet safe so if you have animals you won't have to worry about them getting sick from it. Again sorry if it wasn't okay to give advice I just know bedbugs are one of the worst fucking things to deal with especially if you have any kind of psychosis and no money to get rid of them
