An Inspiring Traveller . There are a very few people who go beyond their limits to explore the world 🌎. A few, who are always curious about knowing and learning things at any given time. . 3 years ago I came across this woman from Los Angeles - @arwin.l. We got in touch through my pictures of #Bombay on @instagram and eventually became good friends. She is an inspiration to many travellers (including me), a learner and also a teacher when it comes to exploring new places. Being a mother of 2 daughters travelling extensively to allien countries, exploring untrodden places day & night to take pictures is a big thing. . She is someone who always pushed me to do photography ( I am lazy otherwise),she is the one who believed in my secret skills and helped me explore alot with her curiosity. So I thank her for that today with this post. . So she asked me to take her picture at #RohtangPass and I took this shot. I'm sure Michelangelo would have approved of this beautiful ceiling. It's St Andrews in the Square in Glasgow, a beautiful, old converted church. I was inside it for the first time recently, at a 20th birthday party. I also visited a new area for the first time. 2 learning experiences in one day. I worked out that if I learned 2 things per day in the next 20 years that's 14,600 approx. By 87 years old, I'll have learned and experienced an incredible amount! Learning is truly a lifelong worthwhile experience. Feeling fear is an essential part of being human. It's an emotion which lets us hesitate while the small voice in our mind says "Wait!.., Be careful!..., What if?..." We can then make a choice (albeit split-second) whether or not to continue our action. Surely a great mechanism for keeping us safe. But, if the level of emotion increases each time any situation arises, then fear becomes a hindrance, not a help. Think about it though. How do we know that this situation will turn out as we expect? It's a 50/50% chance whether it will be fine or not. What if it wasn't fine, but great or incredible or amazing! Being curious is exciting, exploring, discovering, challenging, learning, finding.
