tfw you're super tempted to start writing one of the three other AUs in your head but there's a 150k WIP you are obsessed with being sure gets completed eventually.

Also they're for a rarepair in a fandom that feels like it's a total of twenty people with three particularly noisy members obsessed with a definition tumblr sexyman blorbo who talks in cursive and commits war crimes and isn't even the main character. /lh I love you all.

#i'm already writing an alternate timeline longfic with an also wip prequel but all of these ideas make for 30k at minimum #a hanahaki au where brax finds out he's ill but doesn't know why and when he does he starts obsessing over benny so he survives #to get her to love him but not because he loves her anymore #becoming essentially a yandere with empty motivations #a hades and persephone au where he doesn't force her into the underworld but she stays because ARCHAEOLOGIST #and dead mom #and also the waltbraxiatel lungbarrow bros roleswap au where brax is the conductor and the doctor is walter lungbarrow #and benny and brax end up in a relationship like the doctor and river where everything is out of order #and they're married with a kid but half the time don't know #this is a callout (affectionate)#writing #benny/brax #bernice summerfield
