The un-canon save scene in My Monster to Slay

Welp, I saw the result of that poll coming a mile away lol. Basically if we hadn’t had the initial reveal scene, this would have stayed in and been the rescue scene. However this would have resulted in mega trust issues on Tommy’s end, hence why you got the save scene you did.

A blood curdling shriek was heard, as the Giant Naga snatched the Farmer off the ground, lifting them up to their open maw and throwing them inside. A loud crunch echoed into the air as the Naga snapped their jaw shut. The villagers screamed in horror and scattered, trying to escape the clutches of the Naga as they tore through the crowd. 

Blood smeared across the ground, as Wilbur slithered after Tommy’s scent. He was close. For every villager that tried to stop him in his wake, he simply slithered over them, crushing their puny bodies beneath his scales. He had no remorse for the people that had harmed his Tommy.

He thought that humans cared for their young? He’d seen how fiercely they’d protected them before, even going as far as to sacrifice themselves, but those bruises had come from somewhere. Wilbur was going to murder each and every single person that had dared laid a finger on his boy.

Tommy couldn’t see. He heard the guttural shrieks of villagers in pain, as the Weaponsmith dragged him on, but he was being moved so fast, he couldn’t focus on his surroundings. But he continued to try and free himself all the same.
