“BECKASS!” Kenzie declared, screaming at the top of her lungs across the campus. In case the other girl missed the screaming, the taller one was also jumping up and down and waving her arms, much like she was doing jumping jacks. Maybe it was embarrassing for other people, but when her and Beckett got together, it was like they shared one brain cell. “GET OVER HERE SHORT STUFF SO WE CAN GO EAT ALL THE FOOD!” she continued to scream, doing a silly dance to encourage the other to hurry up.

who: @beckvtts​ when: late one night, first week of november where: elevator on the luxor france campus

Sav was coming back from a late night out, tipsy and ready to get back to her room, planning on going back up to her dorm to drop off her stuff before going down to Marcello’s, and luckily, the elevator doors were just about to close as she approached them. “Hold it, please!” she said, scampering over on her unsteady, slightly drunk feet, sticking her arm in between the doors just in time for them to pop back open, her face scrunching up ever so slightly when she saw who was in them. “Hey,” she said, greeting Beckett with no show of her awkwardness, though, of course, things had been awkward between them for a while. She stepped into the elevator, hitting the button, and the doors closed as the old elevator wobbled its way into movement. 

And then stopped.

Sav blinked a couple times, hitting the button again, though it became pretty clear, pretty fast, that the elevator wasn’t moving. “You have to be fucking kidding me,” she said suddenly, starting to press various other buttons, anything to get it moving again.
