So this is many pitch perfect/ Bechloe FanFiction I’ve started to write! Please have a read and let me know what you think, comment any ideas or criticism you have! Hope you enjoy!
Premise:
Chloe Beale is the embodiment of sunshine. However, beneath the bright and bubbly exterior she presents to the whole world is a scared and lonley girl. Will Beca be able to help her best friend before it's too late?
Chapter 1 extract.
Beca stayed silent, slightly opening her eyes to glimpse at Chloe, quietly padding back to bed. Curly hair now on top of her head in a messy topknot, eyes bloodshot and face paler than usual. The dip in the mattress and the irritating squeaking of the bed, sends shivers down Beca’s spine as hears Chloe let out a deep sigh, rolling towards her.
‘Are you okay?’ Beca whispered, surprising the ginger who up until this point had thought the brunette had been fast asleep.
‘Yeah, just felt sick. I’m okay now though.’ Chloe murmured, sounding half asleep, just like the younger woman. Beca grunted not completely satisfied with the response, but too tired to care at the moment- she would ask the ginger again tomorrow, when they were both more awake and coherent.

The One With The Cheese Grater
I took a really old joke and mixed it up with a load of Bechloe.  I then applied heat to it, so what once was a little messy, is now even messier.  And here it is:
The clattering of pots, pans and various other kitchen instruments was beginning to annoy Beca.  It had been going on for a while now, and her concentration was suffering as a result.  She was working on an essay, but the constant cacophony was not making it easy.  Just as she was on the verge of protesting, the kitchen fell silent.  A few moments later Chloe wandered into the living room.
"Becs, have you seen the cheese grater?"
Beca looked up from her laptop, all previous annoyance about the disturbance evaporating as she heard the explanation.  "Nope... should I have?"
The redhead looked thoroughly confused, and folded her arms.  "I can't find it.  And I can't remember the last time I saw it."
"Well you must have had it the other night when Aubrey came over, that pasta thing you made had a ton of cheese in it."
"Oh you're right."  Chloe giggled as she remembered that particular evening. "We were pretty drunk..."
"I know.  I was there."  Beca paused for a moment.  "I think.  My memory is still a bit hazy."
"Oh!  Maybe Aubrey knows where the grater is."
"Why would Aubrey know?"
"Maybe she took it?"  Beca looked at Chloe skeptically.  "Okay, maybe she didn't take it.  But maybe she hid it somewhere as a joke or something?  You know, when we were drunk."
"We did spend a lot of time in the kitchen doing shots..."  Beca conceded.
"I'll give her a call."  Chloe picked her phone up off the coffee table and sat down next to Beca on the sofa.  As she began to dial the number, she relaxed and sank into the cushions, inadvertently draping her arm over Beca’s.  Though she didn't attempt to correct her mistake, and the brunette didn't flinch at the invasion of space.
"Hey Chloe!  What's up?"  Aubrey’s cheery voice answered after only a few rings and the redhead automatically smiled in response.
"Hey!  Nothing much, just a quick question for you?"
"Fire away..."
Now actually faced with the prospect of asking, Chloe struggled to phrase the question in a way that wouldn't offend.  "You didn't happen to... borrow... or... maybe just move our... cheese grater, did you?"  Chloe realised how ridiculous she sounded as soon as she started.  By the time she had finished, Beca was struggling to stifle her laughter, and consequently received a slap on the thigh as punishment.
"...Um, Chloe, are you okay?"
"I know, it sounds crazy, it's just I've looked everywhere and I can't find it."  Chloe rushed to explain her bizarre enquiry.  "The last time I had it was when you were over the other night.  I just wondered if you'd stolen it... as a joke."
"No, Chloe.  I didn't steal your cheese grater."  Aubrey said, with poorly concealed annoyance.
"Oh.  Okay.  Well, sorry to bother you.  I'll talk to you soon..."  The tone of her friend's voice was not missed, and Chloe decided to wrap things up quickly.
"Actually Chloe, since I have you here, can I ask you something?"
"Oh, sure, what is it?"
"Is there anything you want to tell me... about you and Beca?"  Chloe's eyes widened in shock at the question and she leapt off the sofa.  That was the last thing she was expected her friend to ask her, and she was mortified that Beca had probably heard every word.  As she quickly moved to get out of the brunette's earshot, she tried to buy some time.
"Wh- I mean I don't... what do you mean?"  She stammered.
"Don't play dumb with me, Beale.  I saw the way you two were looking at each other.  What's going on?"
"Nothing!  There's nothing going on between us!  We're just friends!  I can't believe you're even asking me this..."   Chloe was pretty pleased with how her protest was going.  She sounded genuine, and thought the feigned hurt at the end was a nice touch.  She was slightly dismayed then, when she heard Aubrey let out an exasperated sigh in response.
"If you say so.  But Chloe?  I did move the cheese grater.  And if you'd been sleeping in your own bed, you would have found it by now."  Chloe's jaw dropped as Aubrey hung up and the line went dead.  She stared at her phone in disbelief, and after a few moments turned around to find Beca standing behind her with a questioning look on her face.
"We are so busted."

Bechloe: “You don’t see me.”
Hey guys! I’m writing Bechloe fanfics now and I thought you might want to see this one. It’s based on @chrmdpoet ‘s sentence prompts. I’m doing number 30. If anyone wants to send me more, please feel free to do so (Holtzbert or Bechloe)
Anyways, here we go:
She’s pretty sure she’s lost her for good now. Not that she had much hope before or anything, or at all really, but now it’s probably over. Definitely. She can’t keep doing this.
It’s over. Definitely over.
She isn’t even sure anymore what it is, or was, or could have been.
They’ve been touring around the world, performing for the USO and stuff, and it’s been good. Fun, hectic, pretty much what she had expected when accepting to go on the trip not too long ago.
She honestly wasn’t planning to say yes. It wasn’t in her plan, her stupid fucking plan that all went to shit went she got fired. But then Chloe looked at her like that and it had been too long since she’d looked at her like that. It’s strange how you can miss someone who lives in the same house. She thought it’d be great, her, Chloe and Amy. And it was, in a way. Except that it felt like they were just passing by each other the whole time, with Chloe sometimes being out during the night, and Beca getting up as soon as the redhead walked through the door in the early morning. Amy was never around, always doing god knows what.
They barely talked, or hung out, or had fun.
Chloe didn’t look at her.
But then she got fired, and Emily came around. Amy pulled out her old Bella outfit and Chloe looked at her, for what felt like the first time in weeks, and a couple of days later she was agreeing to go on a world tour.
She’d missed this, missed them. She missed who they were around each other. Chloe smiled a little more and they talked like they used to talk and it felt like they were back to what they were before.
But then that stupid Chicago whatever guy had to come in and ruin it all. Great. Just what she needed.
She didn’t say anything, of course, because in the end she just wants Chloe to be happy. She’s known for a while now that that person is never going to be her. It’s okay, really. She can live with it. It’s just.. frustrating. And she knows it’s selfish, and she knows you can’t make someone love you. She just wishes that Chloe would see how much she cares, how she’d do anything and everything just to see her happy. She’s always been there for her. And then this idiot walks into her life and smiles at her and suddenly she’s kissing him.
It happens so fast. One second they’re finishing their song, and then Beca looks over at Chloe – just like she always does – but the redhead isn’t even looking back at her. Beca follows her gaze and sees Chicago. He’s walking up to her and pulling her in and then they’re kissing. She turns around immediately. She just has to get out of here.
Chloe finds her ten minutes later. Beca immediately knows it’s her, she doesn’t even have to look around.
“Hey, Becs.”
She sounds sad.
“Hey, Chlo.”
“I missed you out there.”
“You did?” She didn’t mean to sound so hopeful.
“Uh- yeah, Amy said you left right after our performance.”
“Of course.”
“What do you mean?”
“No uh- never mind. Forget it.”
Chloe takes a deep breath, and Beca can feel the tension in the air between them rising.
“I’m sorry I was-“
“A little preoccupied, yeah.. I noticed.”
She really doesn’t want to do this. Not now. Beca turns around, finally really looking at Chloe for the first time in this conversation, before letting her eyes drift over towards the entrance.
“You know, I think I’m actually just gonna head back inside. I’m getting a little cold.”
Before she can turn around completely, Chloe reaches out and grabs her arm, pulling her back. “Beca, I-“ She starts, but then stops and stares down at her shoes.
“You can’t even look at me.” Beca responds, feeling the tears starting to fall down her cheeks. She hadn’t even noticed she was getting emotional. “You just- You don’t see me. Ever.”
“I see you every day.”
“Not like that.”
“What do you mean then?”
Beca hates this. She hates dealing with emotions. “You know what I mean. You just don’t see me.”
Chloe’s still not looking at her, and it’s been quiet for a while now. Beca honestly doesn’t know why she’s still here. She tries to break free from Chloe’s grip to turn around, but the redhead just pulls her closer and looks up into her eyes. She takes a deep breath before she finally starts talking.
“I just- I thought I could do this, okay? I thought that if we just kept going on like this I would get over it. But it’s not- I can’t- It won’t go away. You think I don’t see you? Beca, all I see is you, and it’s killing me. It’s killing me because I lay next to you each night and you’re so close, and then I wake up and you’re all bed hair and no makeup and you’re so beautiful. And then I come home and you’re cooking and singing and I just can’t do it because it’s so freaking close to the real thing.” She smiles softly, picturing Beca singing in their kitchen now. She notices too that another tear has fallen down the brunette’s cheek. She tentatively reaches out to wipe it away. Not that it matters anymore anyway. “Every single time I have to remind myself that it’s not real. I can’t pull you closer at night, I can’t come up behind you and wrap myself around you. I can’t wish you a good morning and kiss you. I can’t do any of that. It hurts so much.” She takes a deep breath. “I just couldn’t do it anymore, I couldn’t be around you.”
“So you changed your schedule.”
Chloe breaks their gaze to stare at her feet instead. “So I changed my schedule. Not that it helped though, I still love you, I think I always will.”
“Chloe, I-“
“This tour is my goodbye. That’s why I was so.. different. I figured it didn’t matter anymore anyways. I know it’s not fair but-“
“I’m sorry, wait-“
“I can’t do it, Beca. I have to start over.”
Beca frowns, then reaches out and lifts Chloe’s chin up, trying to get her to look at her. She can’t believe what she’s hearing right now.
“What about Chicago?”
She shrugs. “He’s nothing.. I’ve just been so desperate to feel anything else. It didn’t work though. I pushed him away after a few seconds.”
Again, Beca tries to talk, but Chloe is too fast. “I’m really sorry about everything Beca. I know I’ve been a horrible friend to you, and it’s selfish, I know-“
Beca places a gentle hand over Chloe’s mouth. “You really need to stop talking now, okay?”
The brunette leans forward and presses her lips against Chloe’s. It’s soft at first, just testing it out. But then she feels the redhead’s hand wrapping around her neck, pulling her closer and she can’t hold back anymore. She presses her lips firmer against Chloe’s and starts tracing her bottom lip with her tongue. Chloe moans into the kiss, allowing Beca’s tongue access into her mouth as they deepen the kiss.
They stay like that for a little while, until they’re both breathless. Beca pulls back and smiles softly at Chloe. She reaches out for her hand and intertwines their fingers.
“This is real, okay? I’m right here. I’m yours, if you want, of course. I’m not going anywhere.”
Chloe smiles. “I know, I see now. I see you.”

Skittles (Bechloe)
The one where Chloe eats skittles during rehearsal break and it catches Beca’s attention. (Y'all listen to the stripped version of ILYSB by LANY while reading this, I was listening to it when I wrote this and I think it suits the bathroom scene pretty well *wink wink*)
“Alright, you aca-bitches stay still while I grab copies for everyone. I’ll be back in a bit.” Aubrey declared, making the Bellas sigh in relief.
“Can I come?” Stacie asked politely.
This didn’t make anybody feel suspicious since they all know that Stacie and Aubrey have been dating for like a month now.
“Fine, let’s go.” Aubrey rolled her eyes at Stacie but with a smile. The brunette took the blonde’s hand and walked outside with her.
“Oh shalom,” Amy praised, imitating the Jewish guy that she met at the activities fair, as she laid down on the floor next to Lily who was seated straight, probably meditating or doing a ritual.
“Your bestfriend’s pretty insane, how is she not tired after all that cardio?” Beca was bent down, panting, her hands on her knees as she asked Chloe her question.
“We’ve been doing this for like four years now. Alice’s cardio was way more intense, you’d feel more than just fire in your lungs.” Chloe remembered her first three years of being a Bella as she went to her bag and wiped her sweat off.
Beca’s eyes widened when she saw the redhead take out a pack of skittles from her bag. She watched Chloe pop a green one in her mouth. Skittles have always been Beca’s favorite “sugar hunt” snack.
“Oh my god, are those skittles?” Beca, who was still panting, pointed at the red pack as Chloe popped another skittle in her mouth.
Chloe raised her brow, “Yeah, why?” Her tone sounded like she didn’t want to share any with Beca but the brunette still asked.
“Nothing. That’s actually my favorite “sugar hunt” snack. Can I have some?“ Beca asked politely, hoping that she’d receive one immediately because she knew that Chloe was one of the people that looked like they carry sunshine and sprinkles in their pocket.
Chloe smirked, receiving a puzzled look from Beca. “No.” She said flatly, the edges of her lips crawled up to form a small smile.
The brunette frowned, that wasn’t the answer that she was expecting from her redheaded friend. “What? Why?” She asked, a little taken aback.
“Yeah Red, why aren’t you sharing your skittles?” Amy blurted in, probably because she wanted skittles too.
Chloe chuckled, “What flavor do you want, Amy?"
Beca got really surprised this time for the sake of Chloe allowing Amy to have some of her skittles and none for her.
"How come Amy gets to have some of your skittles?” The brunette pouted. Chloe shrugged at Beca as she handed a few green ones to Amy.
After Chloe handed a few to Amy, she turned to Beca and winked at her making the brunette blush, her face turning into a crimson pink.
Beca just shook her head and chuckled, “This is ridiculous. You’re ridiculous, Beale.” The brunette said Chloe’s surname firmly which made Chloe raise her eyebrows in surprise.
I like feisty Beca. Chloe had thought to herself so she continued the little game they’re playing.
“Oh? I’m ridiculous? …. Mitchell?” Chloe returned the favor and said Beca’s surname the same way she did.
The brunette gave Chloe a small smile and raised her eyebrows at her, Chloe did the same thing but she stopped when the brunette started to walk away.
Chloe’s eyebrows were suddenly knitted together as she wondered where the brunette was going, “Where are you going?”
“Away from you, I also need to freshen up.” Beca said without turning around to face the redhead. The redhead assumed that Beca was headed to the bathroom for the reason that Beca had mentioned the words “freshen up” so Chloe followed her and tugged at her arm because she too had to freshen up.
“You can’t get away from me, i’ll always follow you.” Chloe winked again but this time, Beca’s face didn’t turn into crimson pink, they just stood there frozen.
“Jesus dude, you are so weird.” The brunette retrieved her arm from Chloe who was smiling in a playful manner. Beca continued to walk until she noticed the redhead following her.
“What are you doing? I’m just going to the bathroom.” Beca’s lips parted.
“Well, I have to freshen up too, don’t I? I wouldn’t want to look so sweaty when we start again.” The redhead gestured at her body, making Beca chuckle.
“Whatever, Beale. Come if you want.” Beca rolled her eyes and smiled at Chloe in the same way Aubrey did. And something was going on for sure.
"Are you just gonna sit there gawking?” Beca asked Chloe as she exited the cubicle. Chloe was sitting on the counter near the sink as she searched for something in her pocket.
“Maybe.” The redhead wiggled her eyebrows.
Beca chuckled before finishing washing her hands.
“I don’t want to go back to rehearsals yet.” Beca groaned, leaning her back against the counter next to Chloe, her arms folded against her chest.
“It takes Aubrey like 15 minutes to get copies plus, she’s with Stacie and you know how Stacie plays it. They might have a quickie before returning here.” Chloe informed the shorter girl whose head was pointed down.
“Yeah, but you know Aubrey. Strict, determined, I don’t know… she probably won’t let Stacie go at her at rehearsals.” The brunette’s head shot up as she heard Chloe re-open the bag of skittles.
“You have a point, Becs.” Chloe popped a green one into her mouth.
Beca chuckled, “Why won’t you give me a skittle, still?” Her tone a bit annoyed.
Chloe looked at her, the redhead’s lips were apart. Beca could hear the older girl breathing since it was so quiet. She was taken aback when Chloe slowly quirked a brow and swallowed the treat that was in her mouth. “Beale?” Beca wanted a skittle so bad, she was desperate to have one and she refused to just let Chloe go without receiving a single Skittle from her.
“Come and get it.” Chloe’s voice was deep, seductive and addictive as she popped a green skittle in her mouth which is Beca’s favorite skittle. Beca felt her stomach flip, her heart beat out of her chest, her mind run like crazy, the hairs on her arms standing and she looked at Chloe deep in the eyes. She didn’t really picture Chloe as the wild one.
You want to keep on playing, Beale? Bring it on.
“Fine.” She took a deep breath before leaning forward rapidly.
Chloe didn’t have the chance to smile all the way because of the pair of lips that were pressed against hers and for the sake that she’s closing her eyes and she’s kissing back, she just couldn’t resist Beca Mitchell. Small, pale but sturdy hands started to roam up on her shoulders until they were wrapped around the redhead’s neck.
Chloe’s lips were soft, warm and tasted like sugary apple goodness because of the skittle that she popped in her mouth which apparently is Beca’s favorite among all of the other skittles. Beca never really heard Chloe speak in a voice like that before when she told her to come and get the skittle, it attracted her like a starving predator and Chloe is her prey.
Soon, Chloe found her arms snaking around Beca’s waist and squeezing it softly which made Beca moan through the kiss. “I really thought you were just going to grab the whole packet from me but I like this way better.” Chloe admitted as she pulled away for air.
“Hush, no talking.” Beca hushed her and slapped her right cheek softly as she kissed Chloe again.
“Right.” Chloe caved in an instant once she felt Beca kissing her again. She was still seated on the counter but she wanted Beca on top. So she got off the counter without breaking the kiss and lifted Beca so she’s the one seated on the counter making her squeal with a laugh.
Chloe loved the sounds Beca made in an instant and it satisfies her to know the fact that she was the one that did that, she was the one that made Beca make a sound that she really loves.
“Do you wanna know something?” Beca asked, pulling away as she kissed her way up to Chloe’s neck and jaw.
“Mmm?” Chloe hummed a response, not letting go of Beca’s waist and rubbing it with ease.
“You’re really good at this.” Chloe felt Beca take her earlobe in between her teeth. Suddenly, Chloe’s face felt like fire and her chest was freaking out like crazy. But she managed to keep her cool and smirked instead.
“And the green ones are your favorite?” Chloe asked in the voice that Beca loved.
“I can’t resist them.” Beca whispered to Chloe’s ear and the redhead felt the chills race down her spine.
“Well, I think I have more green ones here.”

Like a bridge over Trebled water
A Bechloe one-shot.  Set some time after PP1.  Author’s note at the end.
Only ten minutes earlier, Chloe had been having the time of her life.  It was Stacie's birthday and the Bellas had all descended on Atlanta's hottest club to celebrate.  The drinks had been flowing freely before they'd even left the house and things had only accelerated since they'd arrived.  Amy had immediately ordered two rounds of shots, with several pitchers of cocktails following quickly behind.  And while most girls now had a blood alcohol level rivalling their high school GPAs, what Chloe had just witnessed had shocked her into sobriety.
"Chloeeeeeeeeeeee!"  The overly excited greeting provided the redhead with just enough warning to brace herself before Stacie flung her arms around her and swept her up into a bone crushing hug.  "Come onnnnnn... we need you on the danshfloorrr!"  As the taller woman attempted to drag her teammate towards the rest of the Bellas, Chloe managed to escape her embrace.
"I can't - I need to find Beca."
"Mhmmmm, I bet you do..."  Stacie shot her a wink and a very knowing look, but Chloe refused to engage.
"No, seriously, have you seen her?"
"Ummmm... I think she went up to the roof..." Chloe didn't wait to hear anything else and quickly headed off in the direction of the stairs.  Within moments she had made her way up to the outside terrace, desperately scanning the crowd to try and find Beca.  Eventually she spotted her, standing alone in the corner, staring out across the Atlanta skyline.  Chloe took a deep breath to try and calm herself, but it was a futile exercise.  As her heart continued to race, she wondered whether she was doing the right thing.  But ultimately she decided that no matter how awful this was going to be, she had to do it.  Reluctantly, she began to approach the brunette.
"Becs?"  The redhead's voice was soft and quiet as she broke into her friend's reverie.  Beca turned around upon hearing her name and smiled immediately as she saw the source of her distraction.
"Heyyy... Sorry, I just needed some fresh- ... what's wrong?"  Drunk as she was, the look of worry and sheer nervousness etched across her friend's face was impossible to miss.
"I need to... it's... I... it's about Jesse."  Beca looked at Chloe blankly, implicitly urging her to continue.  "I just... I saw him.  He's here.  He was... I mean... he was with someone... a guy someone.  They were... he was... they were kissing."  Chloe finally managed to finish and started to ready herself for however Beca might react.  She expected anger, incredulity, hurt...  anything really, apart from the smirk that was slowly growing across the brunette's face.
"Was he hot?"
Chloe could only gape at her friend in response.  Beca's indifference had affected her vocal chords far more than her nodes ever had, rendering her totally speechless.
"Breathe, Chlo.  It's fine, I know.  Well, okay, I didn't know he was here - but I know he's into guys."
"Aguh... fnphh, mher... ajuh.."  Chloe was trying to form proper words, she really was, but her mind was drowning in a wave of confusion and questions.  Beca made no attempt to hide her amusement at the redhead's failing vocabulary.  Although, as it became apparent that the power of speech wouldn't be returning to her any time soon, she decided to spare her further embarrassment.
"Okay, okay, I'll explain.  I guess it was about a year after we got together - we were still hanging out a lot, but it was more just as friends, you know?  Eventually we talked about what was happening and he told me he thought he might be into dudes.  And I was just like... 'Huh.  Okay...'"   Beca paused briefly to gage Chloe's reaction, but she still just looked utterly flummoxed so she continued on.  "I wasn't really upset... like I said - we'd pretty much just become really good friends by that point.  Plus it seemed like he was having a hard time with it all... I guess I was the only one he could talk to."
Beca's calm and reasoned explanation had started to soothe the redhead's nerves, although there were still a number of questions that she needed answers to.  Fortunately, her next attempt at speaking was far more successful than her last.
"But you're still together?"
"Officially, yes - but it's just because he didn't want the other Trebles finding out.  They might sing a capella, but they're still just basically a bunch of frat guys.  Wouldn't really go with their image.  You know they have a hot tub in their living room, right?"  Chloe nodded whilst grimacing slightly.  "Maybe he's being paranoid, maybe they wouldn't care.  But he loves singing as much as the rest of us - I guess he just didn't want to risk it."
Chloe couldn't help but feel sorry for Jesse, which was not a situation she was expecting to find herself in.  She knew all too well the desire to keep performing, no matter the cost.  But the fact that he was having to hide so much of himself was heartbreaking.  She couldn't imagine what it would be like not knowing whether you truly had the support of your teammates.  The Bellas were her family, and she'd be devastated if she lost them.  If she ever thought they would reject her for any reason, she knew she'd be broken forever.  As her empathy took hold, it proved to be too much to bear and Chloe dissolved into tears.
Beca was taken aback by her reaction but quickly felt a lump growing in her own throat in response.  Working completely on instinct, she wrapped her arms around the redhead and pulled her into a warm embrace.  Chloe was grateful for the contact and held on to the younger woman tightly, completely powerless against the flood of emotion that was overwhelming her.
"Heyyy... it's okay... come on, it's okay...."  Beca was fighting hard to stop her voice from cracking, but it was a battle she was losing.  As she held the redhead in her arms, she thought back to that night with Jesse and the highly edited version of events she had just recounted.  What Beca had neglected to mention was that after Jesse confessed his true feelings, she had explained she was feeling just as confused about Chloe.  It had been oddly perfect in a way, their relationship up until that point meant that they were already close, and now they were bound by the same secret.  Perfect confidantes.  Over the next few months, Jesse had encouraged her to try and get closer to Chloe, while Beca had accompanied him to a few of the local gay bars.  Though apparently he'd been doing some additional recon on his own...
After a few moments, Chloe started to regain some of her composure.  She lifted her head from Beca's shoulder and looked down into the brunette's stormy eyes.   "I'm sorry... I just... I was so worried... I didn't want to hurt you, but I knew I had to tell you... " Chloe looked away as she felt her eyes begin to fill with tears again.  "... I thought I was going to break your heart."  she finished quietly.
Without knowing it, Chloe was breaking Beca's heart, but not for the reason she thought.  Her raw honesty combined such obvious distress was devastating for the brunette to see.  Beca gently cupped Chloe's cheek and guided her gaze back towards her own.
"Chloe, I..."  She was on the verge of crying herself now and swallowed hard as she tried to keep her emotions in check.  There was so much she wanted to say, yet she knew that any attempt to translate her feelings into words would be hopelessly inadequate.  It was fortuitous then, that the alcohol in her system was able to quiet her mind, allowing impulse and desire to take the reins.
Beca moved her hand from Chloe's cheek to the back of her neck, entangling her fingers in thick red curls of hair.  She gently pulled the other woman closer and slowly began to lean in towards her.  As Chloe instinctively reciprocated the motion, her peripheral vision grew dark and the rest of the world ceased to exist. Finally, they kissed, each amazed by the softness of each other's lips.  Since the redhead was showing no signs of resistance, Beca grew bolder and deepened the kiss, eliciting a small whimper from Chloe in response.
It wasn't long before passion was overtaking all sense of reason, both women now only aware of each other.  It was the sound of a beer bottle smashing on the ground a few moments later that startled them into remembering their surroundings and forced them to break away from each other.  Beca looked at Chloe, who was breathing just as heavily as she was.  Some distant part of her mind was surprised to note that she was feeling no embarrassment or awkwardness after making such a brazen move.  After years of sexual tension and repressed emotions, the only thing she knew was that she needed more.
"You wanna get out of here?"
"Yes."  Chloe replied, almost before Beca had finished.  She grabbed Beca's hand and they headed towards the exit.
As they began to descend the stairs, Beca saw Jesse approaching from the other direction, with a handsome, dark haired man by his side.  She smirked and raised a questioning eyebrow.  Jesse looked shocked to see her, but as he noticed Chloe and spotted their intertwined hands, he quickly began to form a smirk of his own.
Neither of them spoke as they passed each other, but the high five they traded said everything.

Author’s note: Every time I watch PP2, I can’t help but notice that immediately after Fat Amy says “So get prepared to meet a lot of sexually confused men” the next shot is of Jesse.  It just seems... deliberate.  Plus he seems to be so aware of how close Beca and Chloe are.  So I just took that and ran with it.  And here we are.  I’ll let you guys decide how believable or not it is.

Confessions
“It happened during that night at the trebles’ party. Drunk Beca isn’t actually new for Chloe to deal with but she knew something was off when Beca had confessed something Chloe was concerned with. Beca had told Chloe that she just wasn’t having fun or should she say happy with Jesse anymore, something that already came to Chloe’s attention even before Beca told her about it. Beca was confused. Confused about her relationship with Jesse and her slight crush for Chloe which apparently isn’t just “slight” anymore but she didn’t tell Chloe about her little toner for her, not just yet. After Beca’s confession she had decided to just dance and drink the night away not bothering to think about the decision whether she should break up with Jesse or not. On the other hand, Chloe was more concerned about Beca’s decision than Beca herself. She was going to ask the brunette if she still loves Jesse or not but with Stacie’s invitation to dance with Amy and Flo, Beca was away shaking her body with the rest of the Bellas and Chloe could not be more concerned about her bestfriend for 4 years. She had decided to take another drink from the bar when she sees Beca dancing with the Bellas, she smiled and her gaze lingered on the brunette but she quickly snapped back to her senses and shook her head knowing she’ll just be a friend maybe forever. Just friends. Forever. Sure, she has a toner for the badass DJ but it shouldn’t exist because the DJ has Jesse and even though she knew the fact that Beca is in the verge of breaking up with him, that didn’t give her any hope. Because for sure Beca will be heartbroken when that happens because she has been with this boy for nearly 4 years damn it and Chloe wouldn’t dare to try to develop the toner she has for the brunette because she’s her bestfriend and Chloe didn’t want their platonic bond to be broken. She just isn’t sure if Beca feels the same way.
“You totally have a toner for her, Red.” Chloe was startled by the sound of Amy’s voice suddenly creeping in.
She took a sip of her beer before answering Amy, “We are not having this conversation again, Amy. I’m gonna have to double the number of the laps you did during the recent rehearsal for the next one if you don’t stop. Besides, she already has Jesse.” Chloe gave the Aussie a death glare
“Yeah but you heard her, she isn’t sure if she still wants to be with him,” Amy totally ignored the redhead’s threat despite the fact that the Aussie hated cardio very damn much and focused on the Beca and Jesse thing instead.
Chloe’s eyes widened upon hearing this, “Wait, how’d you know that? I swear to God Amy, i’m going to double the number of your laps.”
“Uh, I was sitting next to her when she talked away her problems to you? Didn’t you notice this big of a body sitting next to a tiny one?” Amy gestured up and down on her body.
Chloe laughed slightly, “C’mon cap, make Bloe happen.” the Aussie nudged the redhead on her shoulder.
Chloe decided to lighten up the atmosphere a bit, “No, Amy. She can’t have me and I can’t have her even if she breaks up with Jesse.” the redhead sadly smiled.
“Why not?”
“Because we’re bestfriends, Amy. For 4 years now if I may add. And I don’t want to ruin our bond, I don’t want that to go away, I don’t want that to break.” Amy could hear pain from the redhead’s tone.
She has decided to give Chloe one of her famous bear hugs and this time, Amy lifted Chloe off her feet to which Chloe giggled to.
Amy finally put the redhead down, “So you do have a toner for the big BM?” the Aussie asked.
“Yes Amy, ever since I saw her in the activities fair during her freshman year.” Chloe had that in mind but decided to not answer that.
Instead, Chloe answered with an intriguing “You could say that,” with one of her famous winks.
“Yay Bloe!” Amy gave Chloe a bear hug once again. This time, she didn’t lift the redhead off her feet. Chloe smiled once again.
“You should totally give it a shot, Red.” Amy said as she put Chloe back on the ground. The redhead just chuckled.
“Just think about it, maybe she’ll be happier with you than Jesse.” The Aussie’s words left Chloe speechless. She was about to say something but her mouth just hung open.
“Well, I gotta go, Cap. Still have some business to take care of and remember, think about it.” Chloe had managed to know the real meaning of Amy’s “business” that she has to take care of meaning she’s going to hookup with Bumper again. Before the redhead could say her goodbye, the Aussie was already gone.
“Think about it.” She slowly muttered as the words echoed in her mind.
She decided to get in with the crowd as she saw Beca dancing with the Bellas and the redhead decided to join in.
Think about it.
After their first Bellas rehearsal with Legacy, Chloe overheard Legacy’s conversation with Beca and reminded the DJ about their arrangement. Beca was in the middle of fixing her stuff when Jesse arrived with a paper bag in his hand.
“Hey, weirdo.” The familiar voice made Beca look up from the bag she was organizing to see Jesse holding Chinese takeout.
“Hey,” she gave him a sweet smile as he kissed her cheek lightly.
“Brought you lunch,” Jesse lifted the paper bag.
“That’s nice, thanks.” Beca continued to fix her stuff so she could get going.
She was thinking of her and Jesse, their relationship, how she felt and how the boy would feel when Beca breaks up with him.
Jesse was patiently waiting for his girl to finish so they could head back to his place and have another class of moviecation, the last time they had a moviecation, they watched Jaws, again. This time, Jesse planned to watch Donnie Darko.
Beca stopped for awhile which caught Jesse’s attention, “You okay?” he asked in concern.
“Jesse, I-” she was going to do it but the words couldn’t come out of her mouth.
“Hey, what’s the matter?” Jesse took Beca by the hand as she started to tear up but Beca held back the tears.
Not now, Mitchell. Not now.
“I think we should take a break,” Beca managed to say despite the heavy feeling in her chest.
Jesse was taken aback by Beca’s words but he didn’t let go of her hand. “What? Why Becs? Aren’t you happy?”
He just brought up the main reason why she wanted a break, “I just think we need this so we could figure out if we really want to be with each other.” Beca explained.
Jesse rubbed the temple of Beca’s hand, “I’m happy and I really want to be with you. Don’t you feel the same?”
“N-Not anymore Jess,” Beca stuttered.
And at that very moment Jesse felt his heart divide into two, “Why? D-Did I do something wrong? Is it me? Beca please tell me.”
“No, no, no, Jesse. It isn’t you.” Beca paused to inhale deeply and exhale right after. “I just don’t feel happy anymore and Jesse, for the past four years you truly made me happy and I will never forget those four years with you. Right now i’m just feeling something else and that isn’t happiness.”
Jesse still managed to answer even though his whole chest is aching. “Is this really what you want Becs?”
Beca nodded as she looked down, “Alright.” Jesse tried to hold back the tears as well.
“But I still want us to be friends after this though.” Beca’s head jolted up and Jesse was giving her a sad smile.
“Is that going to be okay?” Jesse asked, still not letting go of her now ex-girlfriend’s hand. Beca nodded with a smile and so did Jesse, “Friends it is then.” Beca felt a little something when Jesse slowly let go of her hand.
“So… you still want your lunch?” Jesse still managed to make Beca laugh a little.
“No, it’s all yours.” Beca put her bag on her shoulder.
“Take it, you just finished practice. You’re probably hungry.” Jesse handed the brunette the bag.
“Thanks again for this, weirdo.” Beca took the bag and the two laughed.
“I’m gonna miss this.” Jesse admitted. “So will I,” Beca smiled and sniffed.
They hugged for the last time before saying their goodbyes, “You’ll always be my weirdo,” Jesse said in the middle of the hug, making Beca chuckle.
“Goodbye Jesse,” she said one last time to her ex-lover.
“Goodbye Beca. I’ll see you soon.” That’s when the ex-lovers exited the hall, both going different ways as Beca headed to the Bellas’ house while Jesse headed back to the Trebles’ house.
It has been nearly 3 weeks since their break up and Beca finds herself watching The Breakfast Club as she wept over and over again at 8 in the evening.
Jesse and Beca used to watch that film all the time and it feels different to not have Jesse next to her with his arms wrapped around her. Beca missed the boy but she wanted this, she has to carry on. She was just glad that Amy wasn’t around that night so that the Aussie wouldn’t have to see Beca with puffy eyes and messed hair.
She was about to doze off when her phone vibrated on her nightstand.
It’s a message from Chloe.
Her heart started to beat a little louder and her stomach literally dropped.
Chloe: Hey Becs, you free tonight? I wanna hang with you :(
The brunette smiled upon seeing the text message from her co-captain. She hasn’t told anyone about her break up with Jesse, not even this certain redhead that she has a slight toner for.
Beca: Hell yeah, I am. What were you planning on doing?
The brunette immediately pressed the ‘send’ button.
Chloe: Sleepover? :)
Beca thought for awhile and realized that she didn’t really have any plans.
Beca: I’m in! I’ll be at your room in a few minutes :)
Beca prepared her things when her phone buzzed again.
Chloe: oh not at my room Becs, I actually wanted to show you something. Just bring your stuff and meet me downstairs in 10 minutes.
Beca was very much confused.
Beca: Wait? What???
But the redhead didn’t reply which made the brunette groan. “Intriguing Beale,” she muttered as she went through her closet to get some clothes.
Beca did what she was told and caught up with Chloe Beale down the stairs ten minutes later.
“Hey!” Chloe exclaimed happily looking bubbly and all. Typical Beale, Beca thought.
“Hey, where are we going to have this sleep over exactly? And how come you don’t have any stuff with you? Didn’t you say we were going to have a sleepover?”
“Hush, let’s go.” Chloe grabbed Beca by the wrist and hopped in Chloe’s car.
Beca noticed that the house was too silent and it came to her senses that the other Bellas weren’t around. “Wait where are the others?” the brunette asked as she fastened her seatbelt.
Chloe started the engine, “They’re already there,” Chloe winked.
“Where exactly? You’re weirding me out.” Beca folded her arms.
“You’ll see.” Chloe giggled at the brunette.
Once they were there, Beca had an unsure look on her face. “Beale if this is some kind of murder I will totally ki-” she was cut off as Chloe unlocked the door, revealing the rest of the Bellas inside. They all chanted upon seeing Beca.
“Okay what is going-” she was cut off again when Amy greeted her. “What up, Shawshank!” she raised her hands in the air. “You’re late.” Cynthia Rose said as she walked past Beca and Chloe to get some food from the fridge.
“What’s all this, Chlo? What’s the occasion?” The two walked in and Beca dropped her stuff near the sofa.
“Okay, okay, calm down, uh, this is my apartment. I bought this a few weeks ago and i’m going to live here once we graduate and the best part is all of you guys will have spare keys so you can come by anytime you want!” Beca could literally see the happiness in Chloe’s eyes which made her smile.
“And I noticed that you’ve been a little off lately so I planned a sleepover to cheer you up.” Beca couldn’t help but to smile widely at the redhead’s statement. She quickly embraced Chloe and she hugged back a few seconds after the moment sank in.
“Thanks Chlo, this is a really nice place.” Beca said pulling away. “You know me.” Chloe winked at the brunette which caused her knees to turn into Jelly.
With what Beca is seeing, she could tell that the Bellas are having a lot of fun and they’re going to be really weird grown ups someday.
Stacie was doing her nails on the dining table. Cynthia Rose was snacking on some leftovers in the fridge. Emily was also sat on the table, across from Stacie as she wrote silently on her green notebook. Jessica and Ashley were playing Wii tennis as Flo and Amy placed bets on who would win. Lily was sitting on the kitchen counter while she played with her knives. And Chloe was handing Beca a plate of pizza.
“We saved some for you,” Beca thanked Chloe with another grin.
The Bellas found themselves sleeping in Chloe’s guest room. Chloe had invited Beca to sleep next to her since there wasn’t enough space in the guest room and Beca happily accepted it. Amy ended up falling asleep on Chloe’s sofa bed.
It was already 12 am and Chloe just couldn’t fall asleep. “Becs? You still awake?”
She received a low hum from Beca who turned around to face her. “Hey,” Chloe smiled sweetly at the DJ.
“Hey,” Beca returned the favor and smiled back at Chloe.
“What are you going to do after we graduate?” Beca looked deeply into Chloe’s baby blue eyes as she was asked the question.
“I’ll probably go to LA and pursue my passion in music, producing and all. What about you? You were supposed to graduate three years ago, have you planned what you’re going to do after you leave Barden?”
Chloe sighed at the brunette’s question. “I’ll teach kids how to sing or maybe i’ll dance exotically.”
Beca’s lips parted and whispered to Chloe, “You’re so weird.” Beca raised her eyebrows at Chloe.
“Thanks.” The redhead still smiled sweetly and Beca just rolled her eyes before turning her back against Chloe again.
Beca felt a shiver run down her spine as Chloe’s arm rested on her waist, she could feel Chloe’s breath at the back of her ear.
“Night Becs,” Chloe whispered. “Night Chlo,”
At 2 am, Beca found herself in Chloe’s bed, alone. Not sure of what was happening, she got out of bed and once she held the doorknob to open the door, she could hear someone singing softly outside.
Beca carefully opened the door and decided to take a peek, it was Chloe sitting in front of the fireplace and she’s.. roasting marshmallows?
Beca managed to pick up the rhythm of the song that Chloe was singing.
I’m bulletproof, nothing to lose..
fire away, fire away
ricochet, you take your aim..
fire away, fire away
Beca leaned on the door frame and smiled thinking that it would be fun to join Chloe in singing the chorus.
You shoot me down but I won’t fall
Beca joined Chloe and the redhead’s head jolted to the sight of Beca leaning on the door frame. Chloe smirked and didn’t stop singing.
I am titanium
You shoot me down but I won’t fall
I am titanium
The perfect harmony, the perfect sound, everything was there.
Beca chuckled and sat next to Chloe who was roasting marshmallows by using the heat coming from the fireplace. “Here,” Chloe gave Beca two marshmallows that are poked through a stick.
“Roasting marshmallows by the fireplace at 2 in the morning? I kinda like this, Beale.” Beca accepted the redhead’s offer.
“I’m just glad that Amy hasn’t stirred yet despite the sweet smell.” The two girls laughed.
“What do you think’s going to happen after worlds and graduation?” Beca questioned Chloe who was staring at the fire that had the same color as her hair.
“We move on, we create our own families, we get jobs, we get married and even though i’m so afraid of those things and the future itself, we will always be a Bella, right?” Chloe’s eyes sparkled.
“That’s for life, dude.” the brunette smiled. Everything was silent until the brunette spoke again, “I broke up with Jesse.”
Chloe’s eyes widened and shot Beca a look, “oh my god, i’m sorry to hear that. What happened, Bec?”
Beca took in a deep breath, “It’s fine, it actually happened like a month ago. I just wasn’t happy about our relationship anymore but he was cool about it. He even offered us to be friends which I strongly agreed to. We’re just friends now.”
Chloe placed her hand on top of the brunette’s, “Are you feeling alright?”
“Of course, Chlo.” Beca smiled a little as Chloe rubbed the temple of her hand.
Beca just stared at her hand intertwined with Chloe’s, “Can I tell you something Chlo?”
“Yeah, sure, anything.” Chloe squeezed Beca’s hand for reassurance.
Beca didn’t know how and where to start, the words are already at the tip of her tongue and she just couldn’t make them jump.
“I like you,” Beca had hoped that Chloe wouldn’t freak out. Chloe remained silent as she felt her cheeks burn.
“I had this little toner for you at hood night and I managed to stop it but it kept creeping back in every time i’d see you or even just watch you dance during rehearsals and at during the trebles’ party that’s when it all came back, when I was telling you about Jesse and I.” Beca stopped right there and waited for a response from Chloe.
“What about you and Jesse?” Chloe didn’t let go of Beca’s hand.
“I did love him for a good four years but the spark started to die out and like I said I just wasn’t happy anymore.” Beca stared at Chloe and when she didn’t receive an answer she just chuckled.
“This is stupid, i’m sorry I shouldn’t have done that.” Beca let go of the redhead’s hand and walked towards Chloe’s room.
The redhead chased after Beca and stopped her in the door frame. She stared into Beca’s blue ocean like eyes that held captivating stories within them. “It’s okay I can sleep with Amy here in the living ro-”
And that’s when Chloe leaned in to kiss the brunette.
It took Beca awhile to be aware of what was happening and when she did, she found herself resting her arms on the back of Chloe’s neck, kissing her back and closing her eyes as the other girl’s arms were resting on her waist.
Ohmygod she’s kissing me, right here, right now.
Chloe pulled away in a matter of seconds and her lips curled into a smile, “I like you too, little weirdo.” The girls chuckled.
“Now if you don’t mind, i’m going to kiss you again. Is that going to be alright?” Chloe’s nose was literally brushing against the other girl’s nose as she asked for permission to kiss Beca again.
Beca just smiled and allowed Chloe to kiss her. “You know Amy’s probably going to scream once she sees us rig-” Beca said in between kisses and was interrupted by a really loud Amy.
“BLOE’S REAL!” She shot her hands up in the air as she shouted. Probably loud enough to wake the other Bellas.
Beca and Chloe laughed but they focused more on each other than their Number 1 shipper.
And once Beca looked deeply into Chloe’s blue eyes that were much lighter in color than hers, she knew that she was sure, she was happy, she was contented, she was home, she was safe and she would love those pair of baby blue eyes.
Always.
[I created that video back in April and I kinda wanted to change some things. I hope you enjoyed this! :) x]
