1. Blush/Giddy

Blush red to Chloe is being giddy.

It's being happy and bouncy and humming in the shower and putting on makeup and wearing bright colors and smiling at strangers and laughing with friends and joining the Bellas and living with the Bellas and being a Bella.

It's locking eyes with Beca at the fair and singing Titanium with her in the shower and persuading her to consider auditioning for the Bellas and seeing her actually show up for the auditions and having her smile at her and listening to her cups song and succeeding in convincing Aubrey to let her join despite her best friend's obvious dislike towards her.

It's the realization that she, Chloe Beale, is hopelessly and completely in love with Beca Mitchell.

2. Blood/Heartbroken

Chloe lets out a shaking breath and mumbled "She was kissing Jesse. I wanted to stop by just to see what she was doing and maybe ask her to come over for dinner since she mentioned to me in a text that she hadn't eaten yet and I was just opening her door and they were kissing and I—", She closed her eyes and shook her hands in a habitual gesture that's a telling of her anxiety before continuing, "I just...I don't know, Bree. Like I know she likes him and they're dating and stuff but I just somehow thought they weren't serious, y'know? I just thought there was a chance that—I had hoped that—we could become something but now they're kissing and obviously serious and...oh god, I'm so stupid," she finished with a groan, her face crumpling as if she is on the verge of another wave of tears.

[Aubrey] wanted to yell at Beca and make her feel the same hurt Chloe is feeling, wanted to call her out for being a fucking child and a coward, wanted to tell her to get her head out of her ass and tell her that she is undeserving of the blind and beautiful love her best friend in the entire world is throwing at her.

She wanted to make Beca's life a living hell because she made Chloe's life exactly that when she kissed that Treble without saying anything to anybody and instead of coming forward with her feelings and allow Chloe to move on, she continued messing with her and getting her hopes up and then crushing them time and time again.

She wanted to do all of those things because blood red to Chloe is being heartbroken.

3. Wine/Wanting

Before Beca Mitchell, Chloe Beale has never really understood the meaning of want.

Sure, she understood the textbook meaning, the one found in the dictionary and the one little children learn to try to get their parents to buy something pretty or new for them in the store, the meaning of wishing to have or having the need of something.

But she had always just alluded that meaning to something one wishes to have to satisfy one's immediate desire, or something one has the need for to make them feel better about themselves or the people or world around them.

Never before in her life has she ever assumed anything different, ever understood anything else.

But that was the life she had before Beca Mitchell, before chocolate brown hair and steely blue eyes and snarky sarcastic attitude.

It is I, your Secret Santa, here with part one of your Pitchmas gift 🥰now, I saw on your list of ideas that you suggested a Hospital AU idea, and fortunately I actually have one of those on the go at the minute (the first time having a hundred wips has actually paid off for me dghdfjgh) so I thought that I’d write you holiday themed chapter for this au (although it’s more Chicago Med/ER than it is The Good Doctor). It’s big on the family dynamic of the Bellas, especially in this installment, although there’s some hinting at some mutual pining with Bechloe and Staubrey, as well as an implied Steca FWB thing going on.

Unfortunately I haven’t been very well recently (physically or mentally) and I’m still only about halfway through the chapter for your Pitchmas gift, I can only apologise for the delay and promise it’s not through lack of trying that it’s not done in time for today. I am going to finish it between Christmas and New Year, you will have it before the end of the year, I promise. Chloe Hates Blondes

Chloe hates blondes. Okay maybe hate is a strong word and maybe it’s not all blondes. Amy is just annoying and Jessica (or is it Ashley?) is just kinda there most of the time.

Here’s the thing, though. Chloe spent her (first) senior year watching the awkward romantic dance Aubrey and Beca performed. Sure, on the surface, one might think they hated each other. But, Chloe saw the way they made each other come alive. Beca was practically apathetic except when going head to head with Aubrey. And all Chloe could manage to do was cling on like some kinda of pathetic monkey.

Chloe constantly feels like she is forcing herself into Beca’s life, like that time in the shower. She had meant it when she said “not for that reason”, but damn does that duet still cling to her. Sometimes it only takes her a minute to... anyway she keeps using jiggle juice and forced enthusiasm and if she doesn’t graduate this year, her mom is going to stop paying her tuition.

Now this German amazon comes along and Beca is just a blubbering gay mess which is kind of adorable, but dammit what’s wrong with redheads? If she wasn’t afraid of insulting her Nana, Chloe might dye her own hair blonde to look like that actress Brittany Snow. And what if Beca still didn’t find Chloe attractive? (Well, she has said Chloe’s body confidence was warranted, but something must be missing.)

Things are... different after the weekend at The Lodge. Sure, Beca was the first to hug Aubrey and called Chloe a weirdo when she casually mentioned “experimenting”, but Chloe understands why Beca has been so preoccupied and the Bellas have found their sound (again).

Beca is focused on beating the German now. She’s been working long nights in the studio. With the Legacy. The one who fangirls over Beca with stars in her eyes. The one Beca has been calling “cute butt” and “tall drink of water”.

Dammit! Chloe hates tall people.
