Oh I 100% will!
I'd offer to share the pattern, but since I haven't technically tried it yet I have no idea if the butterfly stitch pattern lines up with the cloak in a nice way
But to give a visual I wanna make a cloak like this one
youtube
But full length (so down to around my ankles or at least my knees) in green, with this pattern
youtube
Happening along the length of it after I extend it to the width I want
Fingers crossed

#if I successfully do this I really will make a ravelry account#out of queue#ani rambles#anis crochet journey#I've typed up a pattern to ~follow~ to start while I crochet with The Ladies if I can go to sleep in a timely enough manner#but again I still don't know if the butterfly crochet pattern will line up nicely to the width of the cloak#because the cloak pattern gave a multiple count to go by. the shawl pattern did not.#so its kinda just guesswork and hope from here#but yeah I'll 100% post progress pics to Tumblr. maybe on this post. maybe on a separate one. who knows#and i'll share the pattern once I work out the bugs (haha)#Youtube#well okay to clarify#there IS a 6 dollar pattern you could buy that might MAYBE give info on the multiples count for the shawl/butterfly pattern#but I don't wanna buy it because I'm kinda low on monies right now#and plus I have no clue like what if it doesn't even include that information
