my lover is being so cute, he started noting down everyone's alibis and projected locations for given scenes in umineko and we're only on ep1 🥺 he is coming up with theories and questioning what the characters say and do and i love him

#truescholar.txt #umi liveblog #IT'S MAKING ME SO EXCITED #it's so so so fun knowing everything while he doesn't know a single thing #we watched the anime a few years ago but he remembers basically nothing #it's so hard doing my best not to spoil him or give him hints that will help him too much #and it's also fascinating how much completely endgame stuff is laid out in ep1 it makes me insane and gnash my teeth #god the visual novel is so good #i ended up switching back to original backgrounds in addition to the original sprites #because the feeling the hazy altered photographs give is soooooo #thinking about people shitting on ryukishi07's original graphics pisses me off so much #he is NOT a bad artist he is fantastic! in what he portrays #in particular his lack of sameface and ability to give nuance and features and make the characters designs feel lived in #and express their personalities so perfectly #the pachinko sprites are a JOKE and the ps3 sprites are INERT and LIFELESS #i would go to war and die in the trenches for ryukishi07
