A lot of sites nowadays consider tracking blockers the same as ad blockers, I don't always run ad block but I have firefox security settings turned on and an add on (privacy badger) to block a lot of the ad tracking. Even when my ad blocker is off a large amount of sites give me the "hey please turn your add block off" pop up, because to them it's all the same. They want to get your data not just sell you ads.

#I like supporting content creators through ads #and some of the sites I go on have currated ads that can be fun #so I got tired of whitelisting things #but I sure as hell am not going to give them extra data #I can tell when I click on an instagram ad or put a new search into a google app #even google maps #because my ads will change #I can actually control my ads with a few google searches if I put some thought into it especially the instagram ones #I had it advertising me shoes for a while when I was looking for boots and it was perfection #If it gives me weird ads I hate like botox or something #It's easy enough to recalibrate #they want to be invasive and prey on you not just sell you things #because if they only wanted your money the default would be content showing you are interested in #instead of all the ones that prey on your insecurities or are straight up scams

i find it so strange when people act as though the japanese ffxiv script is the only canon allowed. like yes it's a japanese game but a LOT of work is put into the localisations? it’s hardly some random fan translation people are putting stock in?

anyway i don’t care if it’s just a reference to monkey island the translators put in im going to accept that thancred can hold his breath for 10 minutes (or that he’s just exaggerating for dramatic effect)

the thing about bad buddy is that calling it enemies to lovers is not entirely wrong and is a very succinct and easy way to indicate the general plot, but also one of the only moments that the two main characters are actually personally in conflict with each other lasts about four minutes and is expressed mainly through upset shirtless xylophone playing contrasted with a montage of happy moments that features a time there was triumphant shirt-wearing xylophone playing. and then they both say sorry at literally the exact same time

#which as it turns out is EXACTLY how i want my enemies to lovers plots by the way. there is literally no way to beat this #if anything it's. enemies (through circumstance. unwillingly) to lovers (by choice. enthusiastically)#*#bad buddy #bad buddy the series #edit. actually ALSO worth noting that even this brief xylophone-expressed conflict only happens because of their differing views #on how to deal with outside influences on their relationship. which is doing just fine except for those pressures from around them #and then it's RESOLVED by pran going yeah i worry about people finding out but i care about you more #essentially already stating the whole final we can't change the world but that doesn't mean we have to let the world change us thing #and fjdkfj. yeah i'll stop adding tags now. ridiculous how wildly rewatchable a show is that at first glance seems so low on plot
