luffy :

"Huh?" the black haired pirate frowned in confusion when he opened his eyes, "Where am I?"

The Straw Hat pirates were looking down at their older captain who laid on the bed inside Chopper's office. The younger Luffy looked at his older self with a frown, inching his face closer to his older self, "You... you look familiar..."

Without a doubt, he was an older Luffy. But the real question was more... how the hell did he ended up here?

The older Luffy adverted his eyes away from his younger self, his eyes widening at the sight. It was his crew standing in front of him, but somehow they all looked younger...

"What happened- did we beat that guy?!" He straightened up suddenly, catching the pirates off guard, "Tell me, Zoro- Did I beat him?"

The older captain looked at the swordsman with big eyes, making the green haired look at his crewmates in confusion, "Well... since you're here right now... I'd say no- you didn't beat the guy"

"Wha..." Old Luffy frowned, but visibly softened when he made eye contact with a familiar pair of eyes. He straightened his arms wrapping them around your body, making you send a look to your favorite navigator, "(Y/n)!"

He threw himself on your body, almost knocking your over in the process. Older Luffy wrapped his legs around your waist clinging into you like a Koala, "(Y/n), you tell me... did I beat the guy?"

Your older captain hid his face in the crock of your neck, causing your present captain to glare at his older self, "I'm not sure, Luffy, but-"

"Luffy...?" The older captain pulled away from your neck looking at you with teary eyes, "Are you mad at me?"

The Straw Hat pirates looked at their older captain... was he really crying?

"W-What?! Of course not!" You softly replied trying to calm him down as he sat on the ground, "Why do you think that?"

"B-Because you never call me Luffy!" The older captain whined- and to think that your captain would've matured over the years...

"What do I call you normally then?" You asked, fumbling backwards when Luffy wrapped his arms around your waist once more.

"You don't remember...?" Luffy quietly spoke, "You always call me love... or darling."

You blinked repeatedly in surprise. Do you really call your captain 'love' in the future?

Sanji almost fell on the ground at the revelation, putting two and two together. Zoro smirked slightly when he finally understood, he sent a knowing look at his present time captain as he asked, "And how do you call her, Luffy?"

"Hah?" The older Luffy frowned at the swordsman, "What do you mean, Zoro? I call her "(Y/n)" obviously! That's her name after all!"

Robin slyly smirked at the two, "And... what did you say your relationship with (Y/n) was?"

"She's my girlfriend!" Older Luffy stated proudly, "But you know that... you're the one who told me to confess-"

With a quick punch, the older Luffy got thrown away from you landing on his face as he hit the ground. The present time Luffy slowly walk in front of you, tightly clenching his fists, "Who the hell do you think you are?!"

The older Luffy jumped up, titling his head to the side, "I'm Luffy! The King of the-"

"I am Luffy!" Young Luffy pointed at his older self, "Clearly you are just a weird me- So you can't just hug her like that! We don't even know you!"

"Don't know me?!" Old Luffy walked so that he was now face to face to his young self, "She's my girlfriend you idiot- so back the hell up-"

"Luffy..." Usopp spoke up, placing a hand on his young captain's shoulder, "Let me explain something to you."

After what seemed like an eternity, young Luffy finally understood the situation. Much to his older self dismay- "Let go of her!- Hey don't touch me!-

The older Luffy was being held back by Zoro and Franky as he disparately tried to get his younger self off you.

"No." Young Luffy cockily smiled at him, his body pressed unto you with his face pressed against your chest, "She's my (Y/n)- so go find yours!"

zoro :

"Hah? You two aren't dating yet? Shit my bad."

The older green haired swordsman fakely apologized to his younger self and the pretty girl beside him.

You snapped your head to look a the present Zoro, your face turning into one of disgust.

"Dating?!" The flirty cook was glaring at the older swordsman from afar, not believing that the two of them could possibly bee dating in the futur, "And you expect us to believe that Marimo?!"

It was no secret for anyone, you and Zoro hated each other's guts. So the idea of the two of them dating was kind of hard to believe.

"Eh?" The older Zoro glared at the younger cook, "I don't care if you believe me or not! You, come with me." The older swordsman then grabbed the collar of his younger self, ignoring his complains as he pulled to a more isolated place of the Sunny away from the loud crew.

"The hell you want, old man-?" The young Zoro asked as they came to a stop.

The older swordsman took a deep breath, gripping harder on his younger self collar, "I want you to listen carefully to what I'm about to say, kid."

"Kid-?!"

"If you mess up what I have with (Y/n) now, I swear on her life that I will find a way to hurt you and make you regret it, are we clear?"

The two swordsman stared are each other, before the younger one broke their eye contact, "How did you... you know?"

The older one laughed loudly when his younger self looked away from him with the red on the tip of his ears, "How did I get with her you mean?"

"You know what- if you're here to laugh I can just-"

"Woah there kid- It was just a joked!" The older Zoro sighed happily, turning his gaze to look at the quiet sea, "I bought her a necklace."

"A necklace." The younger Zoro deadpan at his words, what type of cliché thing was that?!

"I asked Robin to tell me what my birthstone was... and well I bought her a necklace with a green topaz and she never took it ever since..."

The younger Zoro nodded at himself as if doing he was taking notes mentally. The older swordsman sighted once more, "Just don't be scared to show her how you feel- She's kinda oblivious so you're gonna have to tell her that you love her, though"

"Heh?! Who said that I loved her, old man?!"

"You're my mini me, idiot! Obviously I know how you feel!"

sanji :

"Is she- Is she as beautiful as we imagined?"

"Oh~ She's 10 times better then we imagined"

You stood beside Nami with a disgust expression on your face, "I think I'm gonna throw up."

"Pleaseeeee," The pretty ginger laughed, "As if you're not happy that you're dating the love of your life in the future."

"Nami. I told you that when I was drunk!" You hit her shoulder, "You can't use that against me!"

The young Sanji dropped on his knees in front of you, taking your hands in his, his usual charming smile plastering his face. "(Y/n)~ my sweet, beautiful angel please date me-" He got interrupted by his older self.

"You're doing it wrong." He pulled young Sanji off his knees, "Let me show you how to do it."

The older Sanji walked over you, taking your hand in his, while his other arm sneaked around your waist pulling you closer to him. Sanji's blue eyes flickered between your eyes and your mouth, "You have the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen, my love..." He then leaned closer to your lips so that yours and his were brushing against each other.

"You're just... so mesmerizing-"

"Alright!! I get it! Get off her!" The younger Sanji ripped you away from his older self, pulling you against his clothed chest. "You can go back to see your future (Y/n)- this one's mine."

"I was just teaching you the basics, Sanji! No need to get all protective- I get to touch my (Y/n) all the time and anywhere!" Older Sanji lit up the cigarette in his mouth, "But if you want a real tip, take her on a stargazing date, tell her how beautiful she is- because you really are, my angel- and how badly you love her- AND then touch her however you'd like!"

"Watch your mouth!" Nami yelled at the older Sanji. Her eyes then drifted to her two friends who refused to even laid an eye on each other, "huh?"

"Don't worry, love," The older cook reassured the pretty ginger, "I assure you that (Y/n) is more than happy to be with me..."

"Really...." The navigator trusted Sanji with her life- she just didn't trust him with a woman- especially not when the woman is her best friend.

"Yeah," The older man chuckled as he watch his younger self starting to talk to you with blood oozing out of his nose, "She even asked you to be her maid of honour last week- I mean... In three years or so, she'll ask you to be her maid of honour... So have some faith in me, yeah?"

"Her maid of honour...?" Nami looked over at you, your face redder than normal as the younger Sanji whispered sweet nothings in your ears.

"Angel?" the younger cook spoke in your ears as he placed a hand ion your cheek, "Would you like to go stargazing with me tonight?"

You laughed quietly at his words, "Is that a subtle way of asking the permission of touching m-"

"Of course not!" Sanji straightened himself, "You're so much more than a pretty body... Everything about you is just amazing-"

"Ah what a shame..." "Why's that, my love?"

"I would've given you the permission to touch me~"

"(Y/n)! You can't say stuff like that! He'll bleed out!" Chopper yelled as her tried to stop the bleeding from the cook's nose.

"I'll see you tonight, my sweet angel~" Sanji screamed with heart eyes, ignoring the fact that he was bleeding out.

"No you won't!"

Propaganda under the cut.

Propaganda for Sanji x Luffy:

I don't think anyone is gonna bother denying the fact that WCI is literally just the plot of an otome isekai shoujo manga/manhwa. MC (main character) is treated like trash by family except for the 1 dead mom and 1 nice sympathetic supporter that can't do much of anything to help. MC escapes only to find themselves in an even worse situation somewhat of their own making, only to be swept off their feet by the ML (male lead) and saved, full damsel in distress style. Dramatic love confessions, crying in the rain, betrayal from an arranged marriage, it has it all.

Dude Luffy loves Sanji so so much like WCI is the best example and like you don't even really need to see the love as romantic if that bugs you but dudes. The first words out of the Luffys Shadow Possessed Oars was yelling for Sanji. He just loves Sanji so much and Sanji loves him too

The WCI arc in itself is mega SanLu propaganda. Luffy invaded an emperor’s territory, completely crashed a wedding, went up against Sanji’s evil science family, and got nearly beat to death by Sanji himself all in order to get Sanji back. Sanji offered his life to Kuma at thriller bark so Kuma wouldn’t kill Luffy. He pushed himself for 2 years all in order to get stronger FOR Luffy. Sanji feels sorry when he isn’t useful, the whole reason why he used the raid suit those few times was because he was thinking about getting stronger for Luffy, but realized that he didn’t want to become an emotionless monster like his family. Sanji broke down in tears at WCI when he tried to get Luffy to go away by fighting him. And then broke down in tears again when he ran back to Luffy and told him he wanted to go back home to the Sunny. No matter what Sanji cooks, Luffy always likes it and is proud to have him in his crew. Sanji is also one of Luffy’s “wings”, as stated by Robin! They’re both just so sweet and clearly care very deeply about each other.

Luffy saving Sanji on whole cake island got to me

[Insert everything that happens between them during WCI] how could I see luffy yelling about how he won't eat anything and will starve- LUFFY OF ALL PEOPLE- unless Sanji comes back and not ship them at LEAST a little. "Without you I can't become the pirate king" absolutely devastating cinema. Then Sanji laying out everything, in tears, and Luffy accepting it all and just saying, "well that's who you are" poetic. Final wci thing: luffy hearing judges bs about sanji and going "whyd he start listing all your good point" true love. This seems one sided but Sanji is also just as bad. "Which version of me do you prefer" anyone? They care SO MUCH about each other. Also Luffy loves to eat, Sanji loves to feed people, they're meant to be.

*gestures at the entirety of WCI* I mean that’s Love, they are Ride or Die, Luffy cannot become the pirate king without Sanji, whether that means physically because he needs Sanji’s support or just because being the pirate king means Luffy has everything he wants and what he wants is Sanji or both. And Sanji loves him just as much back! He’s his sun he’s his world…Luffy jump and Sanji’s too busy skywalking to bother asking how high. I just love them sm

Propaganda for Luffy x Coby:

The first characters in the series who ever met and the first characters we as an audience met. Luffy is the whole reason why Koby is the character he is now and was the first to experience the “Luffy Effect”. Luffy is happy whenever he hears about Koby’s accomplishments and fully believes in his dreams even when Koby is a marine. Koby holds a very obvious bias towards Luffy (even if he is a pirate) and is the reason he learned to keep an open mind about pirates and the navy and what the meaning of Justice is. Koby’s admiration and flustered nature towards Luffy can definitely be interpreted as a crush. Koby is very ride or die for Luffy even in the face of people drastically more powerful than him (Akainu).

Coby is beyond gay for Luffy and he was the first person Luffy traveled with.

Coby literally gets heart eyes and can't stop himself from piping up every time Luffy comes up in conversation that boy is SMITTEN. I don't know if Luffy understands but he knows Koby is one of his and that's good enough for me.

The End Of It All Part 2

Author's Note: This may have trigger warnings for many. Not listing them all so read at your own risk....

Sanji

The latest battle had truly taken a toll on the crew. You had received the brunt of it because once the enemy knew how much you had meant to the crew, especially to Black Leg Sanji, you had been the biggest target.

Chopper had done his best trying to keep you alive but he had even admitted to the crew, with all of his skills... even calling his mentor and getting her advice was not enough. You were dying and no one knew what to do for you, but most of all what to do for your lover.

Sanji sat by your bedside and held your hand... losing sight of all else. His heart was breaking and no one knew how to console him. You and him had been together at the Baratie. Old man Zeph had even bragged about how he had made it possible for the two of you to be together. The cook of the Straw Hats was at a loss... he had sworn to protect you and now all he could do was watch you pass before his eyes. The two of you had been together since you were children. You had even mentioned how you were unsure about going out to sea. But you would follow him anywhere. Being a pirate wasn't your strongest point and he was blaming himself for it now.

"Y/N.... I'm so sorry...", he sobbed as he tried to control his breathing. He was on the verge of having a panic attack when you finally had enough strength to open your eyes.

"Baby..", you whispered, immediately Sanji sat up from his position of laying his head down by yours.

"I'm here, Love...", his voice raspy from the tears he had been shedding.

"I ... love you... ", you gasped as you struggled to talk. Waking up had been an endeavor. The cook began sobbing uncontrollably. He stood up and engulfed your head into his tight embrace.

"You can't leave me...", he managed. He tried to hold you as tight as he could without making you uncomfortable.

"I'm... not .... trying to.... I swear...", you gasped. You began crying... not realizing you had the strength to... grabbing his face was an effort but he needed to know.

"You have.... to keep... living...", you stated with baited breath, "Promise.. me... you help Luffy become King of the Pirates... and you go on..."

"I can't...." he admitted quietly as he held you close. How could he promise this when all he wanted was you with him... as you had been for years....

You lifted your heavy hand to his head. "You CAN do this.... promise... promise me... you will carry on...."

"I refuse.. you have to be with me...", Sanji wept, "Its always been you and me..."

"But you have .... you ... have... Luffy now....", you managed through labored breaths, "We agreed... to help him be King of the Pirates..."

"If it means losing you then I can't help him....", the blonde haired chef admitted.

"You will always... always.. have me...", you whispered.. you were losing what little strength you had, "Sanji...I don't have much time.. "

Your lover quickly shot up from holding you close to him and looked you in your eyes. The light was fading from them. "Chopper!" he yelled.

"NO! ", you forced yourself to say.... taking what little bit of energy you had left. Your eyes began closing without your consent and you felt yourself slipping into oblivion.

Your body went limp when Sanji tried to pick you up to make you face him. He screamed your name, causing the crew to run to his aid. But it was for naught. You were gone.

The cook was inconsolable for weeks. Nami taking over cooking while the crew continued to sail. To say you had left a hole in their hearts was an understatement. It wasn't until you're passing almost 6 months later that Sanji began cooking again. Yet he found himself cooking all your favorites. No one on the Straw Hat crew had the heart to say they knew this fact. They ate the food happily, even Luffy who knew it took alot for the chef to get through the day. Until his dying day Sanji always cooked at least one of your favorite meals a day. When he finally passed... seeing you again was Heaven.

He was beyond grief to say the least. You had actually died in his place. You had admitted to being part of the race they had deemed dangerous during the 100 gap. You had taught him the history of the strongest warriors alive being hunted down one by one. They had been deemed gods because of their abilities... but slowly one by one had been hunted because of their strength and longevity... but some of that power had been turned into "devil fruits". Some of the smaller insignificant ones being created to make a balance.

Yet you had not been captured in that raid. You had endured with a few others who had come to help in the aid of rescuing Ace. Falling from the sky with Luffy and a few other pirates. He heard your words of saying "Leave it be..." when Akainu started throwing insults about the father who had saved you both. But he refused to back down, which resulted in you shielding both him and Luffy against Akainu.

A choice he regretted heavily. He and Luffy survived and your body had been procured by your elder brother in law and sister. He was not able to attend your funeral and facing your children was even worse. They were with their godmother Boa Hancock, a woman whose tribe hid you and your clan for years, believing the "gods" who ruled the Grand line and New World would return and create stability once more.

But you had passed in his arms and if it wasn't for Jinbei reminding him of the precious beings you left behind, he would have gladly died with you. The fact he could only witness your funeral from a news paper clipping and a responder snail that Red Hair Shanks gave him the privilege of.... he'd visit your grave soon with your kids.....he needed closure and you needed rest...

Reiju couldn’t believe it. When she had seen Sanji arrive at Whole Cake Island, she had thought it was all over for him, that his hard-earned years of freedom were finished. All because of their father’s ridiculous ambition. But what neither she, nor their father and brothers—and obviously not even Sanji—had expected, were people chasing after him.

She was honestly surprised when she and Yonji ran into the Straw Hat crew out at sea on the outskirts of Totto Land, and even more surprised at the state their captain was in. She had to wonder how he even managed to ingest that much armored stone fish poison, nevermind surviving it. She could only silently marvel at this boy’s luck in meeting the one person who could save him at that point.

However, she was sure that if the Straw Hats didn’t turn back, their luck would run out very soon. There was a limit to such fancies of fate and they would need nothing short of a miracle to get as deep into Totto Land’s territory as they had intended.

Even while they were riding the carriage taking all the Vinsmokes over to Big Mom’s castle, everything still seemed hopeless. No way out, no means of escape, no room to hide; not even a will to run. Not until their coachman pointed out the large figure charging at them from the direction of the forest.

“Your majesty, something is approaching!”

Reiju frowned slightly, leaning forward to see past her father. Was that… a tree? And someone waving from the top of it?

“Hey! Sanji!” the person shouted right then. “Haven’t seen ya in a while!” 

Reiju could barely believe her ears. It definitely sounded like Straw Hat Luffy, Sanji’s cute little captain. It seemed like the man’s luck and determination ran deeper than Reiju had given him credit for and she felt a smile pull on her lips. It was quite refreshing.

But then Sanji spoke up behind her, his voice weak and shaky, “What are they doing here?”

With that simple sentence, it was obvious what Sanji’s answer was going to be. Still, that knowledge didn’t make hearing Sanji speak like a Vinsmoke any easier, any less devastating, and Reiju only hoped Straw Hat wouldn’t blame Sanji.

Unfortunately, it would probably take yet another miracle for that. Reiju didn’t want to watch the following fight; she could see Sanji’s heart breaking with every kick he threw Straw Hat's way, yet, for some reason, she couldn’t look away either. The way Straw Hat took every hit, not even trying to block a single one, the way he refused to back down, saying he wasn’t going to fight Sanji… It was something Reiju had never seen in her life.

She had witnessed countless fights, fought countless people herself, and she had met countless pirates. But this boy was simply something else entirely.

And, as shocking and painful as this scene was to witness, her smile widened the slightest bit.

"You can kick me all you want but you're the one feeling the pain!" Straw Hat screamed after the retreating carriage.

Reiju couldn't even say she was surprised by Straw Hat's words in the end. Yet, she was still incredibly happy to hear them—happy Sanji got to hear them. Happy her little brother had found people who loved him this much and had the power and will needed to act on it.

And even with the gates of Whole Cake Chateau closed tightly shut behind them, Straw Hat's words still echoed around them. "Come back, Sanji! Without your help I can't become the King of the Pirates!"

They were inside the castle now, but Reiju still felt the dark skies above part just a little bit. 

There was yet a small ray of light above.

Listening to Sanji retell what he had seen and heard in Pudding's room, Reiju was surprised by the feeling of relief that washed over her. For one, Sanji finally had no reason to stay. There would be no wedding, no alliance, and no threat to the hostages come tomorrow. There weren’t even any bombs on his wrists.

And two, Germa 66 was as good as dead.

The only problem was Sanji’s kindness. How do you convince someone selfless like Sanji to let people die? Reiju didn’t know. She had tried and tried but she knew it was hopeless. For her, anyway.

She had to leave it to the person who appeared to have the power to sway the tides of fate itself.

As if on cue, there was a loud crash outside the medical room, followed by shouts that got louder and louder with every passing second. What did she say about luck and fate? It was honestly so incredible that it was absurd.

It didn’t take Straw Hat very long to speed past the door Reiju was hiding behind. Quickly dragging him inside, Reiju took in the state he was in; ragged clothes, wounds and dirt all over, a missing tooth, cheeks hollow as if he hadn’t eaten for days. A complete mess, yet so desperate to reach Sanji—and not even being quiet about it even though he was running all over the Chateau, Big Mom’s very own castle.

“We’ve been tricked, Pudding lied to us! The very girl Sanji’s getting married to said she’s going to kill him—” Straw Hat stopped suddenly, blinking at Reiju with a slight frown on his face. “Are you okay? You got hurt?” he asked then, gesturing to her thigh.

Reiju chuckled at the concern. “I’m fine,” she said, dismissing him. You really should worry more about yourself right now, she added to herself as she shook her head, a small smile playing on her lips. “And don’t worry, my brother knows about Pudding.”

“What?! He knew?” Straw Hat cried.

The genuine shock on his face got quickly replaced by rage, however, when Reiju explained the situation Sanji was in—or the situation he thought he was in.

“Hostages? You mean the Baratie?! I know them!” Straw Hat said, nearly shaking in anger. “If they’re really in danger, I’ll go back to the East Blue to fight if I have to!”

Reiju blinked, taken completely aback by the declaration. But before she could so much as ask if he was serious, a loud growl came from Straw Hat’s stomach. 

“Do you… need something to eat?” she asked uncertainly.

“N-No, I’m fine!” the boy replied immediately, a bit too loud and a bit too forceful. Like he was trying to convince both Reiju and himself that he wasn’t hungry after all.

His words from the day before echoed in Reiju’s mind. ‘I won’t eat anyone’s food but yours anymore!’ When he had said it, Reiju had thought he was exaggerating but looking at him now, weak and tired and with stomach empty, she could tell he had been dead serious. And she found she couldn’t say anything in that moment; not about his hunger and not about Sanji. Both of those were now fully in Straw Hat’s hands. And so, she only watched silently while the pirate gathered himself, breathing heavily as he tried to calm his complaining stomach.

Finally, after a few moments, he got up to his feet. And whatever it was that Reiju expected to see, to hear, it certainly wasn’t this wide, happy smile or the relieved tone of his next words.

“But at least now I know Sanji’s aware what Pudding’s up to! As long as he’s not being tricked, I’ve done everything else I can!” he announced, looking perfectly satisfied with everything.

“Wha—” Reiju only managed to say before getting interrupted.

“Thanks, Sanji’s sister!” Straw Hat called, his hand raised in a wave even while he turned on his heel and started running towards the window.

Reiju’s eyes widened at the suddenness of the situation. And why the window?! “Where are you going?! That’s not—”

She was cut off again, this time by the loud crash of glass breaking, and she could only stare with an open mouth after the man. Did he seriously just jump out of the window, at this height?!

“I made him a promise, but it’s not here!” 

His last words repeated themselves in her head over and over while she tried to process what just happened. It was only when people started screaming all the way down at the foot of the Chateau that she finally broke out of her stupor.

And Reiju… laughed.

Laughed, because of the absurdity. Laughed, because she didn’t know what else to do. Laughed, because of the relief. This man, this pirate, was certainly something; a raw force of nature, maybe. Sanji truly was in good hands now.

Letting her head fall back, Reiju stared at the ceiling above, wondering when exactly the dark clouds disappeared.

WARNINGS: Dark themes, angst, mention of character death, derealization, cursing, trauma, spoilers

♡Luffy: Because of watching their brother, Ace, die in their arms he has PTSD, severe depression, and he does have episodes where he detaches from reality and thinks his surroundings aren't real (derealization). Jinbei will help him cope with his depression and derealization episodes sometimes. He touches his scars a lot, exspecially the one on his chest

♡Zoro: He is highly afraid of his friends and crew members dying, that is why he always thinks he needs to be stronger. So he can protect his friends. He cannot handle the anxiety of losing his friends and a few of his coping mechanisms are sleeping so he doesn't have to think about it and training so he is focusing on something other than the horrible thoughts that come to his mind. On rare occasions he will wake up in a cold sweat because he had a nightmare about what happened back at the Sabaody Archipelago (Arc)

♡Nami: She is afraid that something like the past will happen to hear or her friends so she tries to keep everyone safe in her own ways. She does have PTSD because her past and because of what Arlong did to her mother, her village, and her mentally and physically. Usopp and Luffy will help her cope with episodes she has and try to keep her spirits and tell her they won't let anything like that ever happen to her again

♡Usopp: He is very insecure of himself and how he is perceived by the world, they don't want to be a burden to others and have them clean up their mess. He is afraid his crew will leave him if he made a mistake or not be seen as manly (Water 7 Arc). He has improved on his state of mind and physical well-being...but you can never stop the horrible thoughts that will come from the back of your brain and remind you of horrible things you have done. Nami will usually help him with these hard times and remind him of all the good he has done for the crew and how they can't move on without him

♡Sanji: After the Whole Cake Island Arc he will get reoccurring nightmares about how he was a kid, locked up in a cage, tortured by his brothers and father. He will sometimes cry, Zoro will usually accompany him in these times and let him ramble on about it, cry, stay silent, or even fall asleep on him. Luffy will let him take a break from cooking so he can get some actual sleep and let Nami or Robin cook for the time being if that's what he wants. He doesn't usually let others see how tired he is of doing anything so Luffy and Zoro both have to pressure him to take a break and enjoy the sun or being pampered by everyone a little bit

♡Chopper: Chopper's anxiety used to be really high but after being with the Strawhats he has learned he doesn't need to go by societies rules and can be whoever he wants to be. He usually sleeps in due to his insomnia and tries to make up for it by taking care of the crew while hes awake. He makes sure everyone feels welcome so they don't have to feel like he did when he first ate his devil fruit

♡Robin: She is a bit afraid of not being wanted but after Water 7 (Arc) they have come to the realization that she is truly wanted somewhere safe from her past and the feeling of being hung by the neck if she did anything wrong. She is grateful for such a place as being with the Strawhats and Luffy especially so she will protect him at all cost so she can keep the man who told her to say that she wanted to live to fulfill his wish and become the Pirate King

♡Franky: He is afraid of his closest loved ones dying so he will continue to upgrade himself so he can protect those he loves from harms way. In the beginning he was to afraid to really be close with the Strawhats because he didn't want them to end up like Tom, dying to save his life. He misses Tom dearly but is grateful for his close ones still being alive

♡Brook: Even though they joke about how they are already dead, he is still very afraid of death, as this is his last chance at surviving. He will get depressed about life and how he has left his past crew mates behind but will keep reminding himself he has the Strawhats and needs to see Laboon again

♡Jinbei: Sometimes he feels as if Queen Otohime's death was his fault and how Nami suffered a great deal because he let Arlong loose. He will try not to show it but he is an emotional person, so he will occasionally say sorry to Nami and she will continue to forgive him as she knows he still needs to grow from his slight traumatic past. He is grateful to have such another caring crew. They don't let people judge him for how he looks or acts because they will smash a couple of bitches who hurt his feelings in any way

Hiii Vemuabhi chwaan, may i request for a hurt/comfort headcanon for the Monster Trio + Law where they are wandering around the new island with their fem. S/O when they come across a celestial dragon, and then their s/o starts to get a panic attack, like she can't breathe nor move and tears keeps streaming on their cheels due to their tragic past as a slave? IK its a weird request

MONKEY D LUFFY

You both were making jokes and laughing while you were looking around the Island for the last time before you all hit the waves.

Luffy stopped at every single food shop and took food from there, while you paid for the food he got. Well you weren’t complaining. You loved to take care of him because he was your lovely innocent captain and also your lover.

Suddenly everyone stopped whatever they were doing because of a loud Gunshot. Luffy and you looked in the direction of the gunshot. It seemed that a celestial dragon came to this place. There was a big person who was walking on all fours and had huge chains around his neck and hands. He was… a slave. Like once you were.

Seeing this you started sweating and your heart beat increased. You knew how terrible that situation is. You slowly looked up and saw a man with snot nose and black curly hair.

Your eyes widened in surprise as you saw the celestial dragon. He… he was the one who made you tremble with fear. He was the one who made you think Death would’ve been peaceful than to live under his foot.

You remembered how he had kicked you repeatedly and how he had thrown his hot coffee on your bare skin just because he wanted to know how hot the coffee was.

Your eyes started to water and you hid behind Luffy, clutching the back of his shirt. He hugged you back with one of his hand but didn’t look at you.

He noticed how you shivered with fear. He heard you sob but didn’t ask what had happened. He knew about how you were once a slave. Only he knew.

Meanwhile the rest of the straw hats came to the place from where ever they were because they heard the gun shot and were worried if something had happened to you two.

Nami and Chopper asked why you were crying. Then the celestial dragon started to slowly move in the direction of where you all were still on top of his slave. He was not yet close to where you were at but the sole presence of that jerk was enough to break your emotions.

Luffy soothingly rubbed on your back and now turned to face you. You looked at him with tears in your eyes and whispered, “That’s him”, so softly only for your boyfriend to hear. He gently wiped your tears and placed his straw hat on your head. You then saw how Luffy walked ahead with Sanji and Zoro behind him. You stopped crying as you looked at your captain with hope in your eyes.

He went to the Celestial Dragon and beat marines surrounding the celestial dragon and punched the Celestial Dragon’s face and made that jerk to taste the dirt. You are sure he broke his ribs. You stopped trembling and smiled as Luffy turned around and gave you his classic smile. Luffy doesn’t fail to make you smile.

Luffy stretched his arms and flew towards you with Zoro and Sanji dangling in his other hand. You knew what was happening and you jumped as you wrapped your arms around his neck. You held him tight as he proceeded to fly towards Sunny with the rest of the crew still dangling on his arms.

He was already your prince but now he was your whole world, your reason to smile, your Pirate King and… your One Piece.

RORONOA ZORO

Zoro got lost in the middle of your date and you were trying to find him. You suggested to go on a date on the last day and he got lost.

You were still looking for him as you heard an announcement. Your ears perked up as you started to listen to it.

The island announced that a celestial Dragon was going to reach the island soon. Everyone was warned to be on good behaviour and not come in the way of Celestial Dragon in order not to die.

You were shaking like a leaf. Your breathing became faster along with your heart rate. You were sweating. You tried to breathe as air wouldn’t enter your lungs.

You didn’t want to look weak so you hid how you were once a slave but escaped with some others one day on an island. You hugged yourself and tried to breathe. You knew your past was always haunting you. You knew Zoro was waiting for you to tell him but chose not to.

Then you saw from a distance, a big ship had stopped on the port. You weren’t very close to them but could see them.

You slowly looked up. You saw the man with grey hair and big beard, sitting on top of a slave. You saw how the slave crawled down the ship with that jerk on top of his back.

That man… he tortured you. He lit his cigar and with it, he burnt the skin on your shoulder just to make you scream in pain. Once you screamed he’d use that reason to beat you up and not give you food for days. Oh how he smiled when you cried with pain. He enjoyed to make you suffer as you were his new slave. You remember how Zoro frowned after seeing your scars every time he looked at them. Chopper cried when he treated them, but you just lied whenever they asked about your scars. Of course Zoro didn’t believe them because he knew you weren’t ready to tell him. So he chose to wait.

You froze in place. In your head you screamed. You knew you should run away. But you couldn’t. Tears wouldn’t stop flowing from your eyes.

“Zo..ro”, was the only word you managed to say as you shivered. Suddenly you felt two strong arms pull you back to a hard chest. As soon as he hugged you, your knees became weak as you trembled. He caught you and wiped your tears soothingly. He asked you what had happened but you couldn’t speak. Instead you pointed towards the Celestial dragon.

After hearing the announcement, Zoro actually had a plan of getting you then running to ship with everyone and getting away. But after seeing you in such a state, his mind changed. He exactly knew what to do. Meanwhile you see Robin chan and chopper running towards you two in order to leave the island quickly. Their hearts broke as they saw you weeping as you held Zoro tightly.

Robin chan hugged you as Zoro placed his hand on his swords and ran towards the Celestial dragon. He beat all the marines around and charged front. Then you saw Luffy attacking with Sanji by his side. Zoro sliced off the clothes of the celestial dragon and scarred his torso.

“You can’t get away after hurting my lover”, he glared at the celestial dragon. Then the monster trio ran towards our direction.

“LET’S SAIL QUICKLY”, Luffy shouted. Zoro came running towards you and picked you up with ease as he ran towards Sunny. You threw your arms around his neck and you wrapped your legs around his waist.

You hugged Zoro and inhaled his scent. He smelled like wood and leaves. That must be because of him getting lost in the woods. Well you knew you had to thank your crew for doing this for you. For now you just closed your eyes and held onto your boyfriend tightly. He was your love, your man, your marimo and the one person you'd love to call... your precious prince.

BLACK LEG SANJI

You and Sanji walked around the small island before you again continued your journey. You both heard a loud noise which sounded like a horn. You looked at the place from where the sound was coming and saw that it was a ship of Celestial Dragon.

The celestial dragon had brown hair and had a small beard. His snot was visible to everyone. He was sitting on a person who was bleeding from his head. He wasn’t even treated. He looked very injured.

You could recognise that celestial dragon. He was the one who tortured you by beating you with rods to make you scream in pain. He made you to work all day long without mercy. He made you to scream and then hit you for screaming.

Without mercy he sat on top of you while you carried him, then kicked you in the stomach because you fell to ground as you couldn’t carry him.

He loved to harass you and all the other slaves. His evil grin spread wide whenever you collapsed to the floor because you couldn’t even stand anymore. Now he had another reason to beat you up. Once you knocked out while you carried him. He kicked you but you didn’t respond. So he thought you were dead and made his men to throw you in the boat of dead bodies of slaves. But you were still alive. When you woke up you immediately threw up into the ocean. The bodies of the slaves were horrible because of their condition and how beaten up they were.

You cried for them and also… you also cried with happiness that you weren’t with him anymore. You felt sorry for the bodies of slaves. But the feeling of dead bodies round you didn’t disgust you because the celestial dragons were the most disgusting of all. You were happy to even be alive and escape that hell.

You hid behind Sanji as you gasped for air. You were having trouble breathing. Your surroundings became very uncomfortable. Your heartbeat was raising quickly as you looked at the celestial dragon. You were getting a panic attack. He hugged you as you held onto him tightly.

Sanji didn’t ask you anything. He didn’t knew you past nor did he want to pressure you. He respects if a person choses to not talk about their past. He never saw you so scared. He soothingly rubbed your back. Sanji was your home and straw hats were your nakama. You slowly admitted that you were his slave and he tortured and harassed you, so you were scared of him.

He wiped your tears as he told you to just stay back and watch as he lit his cigarette and went towards that jerk who made you cry. He kicked everyone with ease and wiped out everyone. Then came Luffy and Zoro as they joined the fight. Chopper and Nami hugged you as you returned their embrace. Sanji kicked the Celestial dragon in face and broke his neck.

Everyone started to run towards Sunny and with one swift motion Sanji jumped in front of you and picked you up like a princess. Then he did his Sky walk while he still held you in his arms. You always go crazy whenever he does that. To light up your mood he always picks you up like you don’t weigh anything and sky walk on top of that whenever you feel sad.

This time… it was different…. You fell in love again. Tears streamed down your cheek as you hugged him tightly with your head in the crook of his neck. He smelled like shampoo, perfume, spices and nicotine. He was your prince, your dream, your knight and your All Blue.

TRAFALGAR D WATER LAW

Just like usual, before leaving the island, you and your captain were stocking up on medicines and medicinal books. It was like shopping date. You never get bored with this because it’s your special moment together.

You both go and pay for it and exit the shop. Penguin came to you and took your bags as he went to the submarine. That was so sweet.

You and Law both slowly walked towards the port hand in hand as you talked. Law rarely shows PDA and this was one of the days he at least holds your hand in public. Suddenly there was a loud scream and you two ran towards it. There you saw a celestial dragon was beating up her slave.

Law looked at you and saw you were completely pale. Your eyes were wide open. Your limbs trembled and you went behind law and stayed there. You gripped his shirt tightly and covered your mouth with your other hand. You were crying but didn’t want to make any sound but still Law could hear your sobs and his heart dropped.

Law didn’t knew why you were crying. But being the clever man he was understood that you were getting scared because of the… celestial Dragon. Then it came to him. The scars on your back and legs. He always knew they weren’t from a battle like you always said.

Now that he knew... oh boy he was furious. Bepo soon came towards you two. Law made sure you were with Bepo and he slowly went towards the celestial dragon. Not even a second later he freed the slaves in a swift motion and made them to teleport. The chains exploded and created a smoke screen. Then he wiped out all the soldiers and guards in the way and in one instant he got a heart in his hands. Due to the heavy smoke no one could even see where he was and who he was.

With the heart Law ran towards you. He gave you the heart as he picked you up and ran with Bepo on his side towards the submarine. You had that awful woman’s heart with you now. In your hands.

That horrible woman pulled your hair harshly and used to beat you. You were her new toy, which meant you were the new person who they enjoyed to break. As you could scream and cry for help she watched with happiness in her eyes as she burned the skin on your legs and back. Without mercy she used to burn the same the same place even when it wasn’t healed completely.

You had another slave friend with whom you escaped but… in the end, that celestial dragon, shot your friend. As you both escaped. You ran… you ran with tears in your eyes as your friend screamed for freedom. You knew that meant for your freedom especially. You still had horrible nightmares because of the trauma. You still could clearly hear the screams of the slaves who begged for their lives but got killed in a terrible way in her hands. You still have the heart in your hand… you could choose…. Life or death for that horrible person.

You look at law and smiled with happiness as you let your tears fall. You were so happy to be a member of the heart pirates. And mostly… a person beloved to Law. You were lucky to have Law as your captain, your saviour, your boyfriend and your Pirate King.

i hope you liked them. I made the celestial dragon a female in Law’s scenario because there are female celestial dragons who are also the same the men. i just wanted to do something different for his scenario.

Propaganda for Sanji x Luffy:

I don't think anyone is gonna bother denying the fact that WCI is literally just the plot of an otome isekai shoujo manga/manhwa. MC (main character) is treated like trash by family except for the 1 dead mom and 1 nice sympathetic supporter that can't do much of anything to help. MC escapes only to find themselves in an even worse situation somewhat of their own making, only to be swept off their feet by the ML (male lead) and saved, full damsel in distress style. Dramatic love confessions, crying in the rain, betrayal from an arranged marriage, it has it all.

Dude Luffy loves Sanji so so much like WCI is the best example and like you don't even really need to see the love as romantic if that bugs you but dudes. The first words out of the Luffys Shadow Possessed Oars was yelling for Sanji. He just loves Sanji so much and Sanji loves him too

The WCI arc in itself is mega SanLu propaganda. Luffy invaded an emperor’s territory, completely crashed a wedding, went up against Sanji’s evil science family, and got nearly beat to death by Sanji himself all in order to get Sanji back. Sanji offered his life to Kuma at thriller bark so Kuma wouldn’t kill Luffy. He pushed himself for 2 years all in order to get stronger FOR Luffy. Sanji feels sorry when he isn’t useful, the whole reason why he used the raid suit those few times was because he was thinking about getting stronger for Luffy, but realized that he didn’t want to become an emotionless monster like his family. Sanji broke down in tears at WCI when he tried to get Luffy to go away by fighting him. And then broke down in tears again when he ran back to Luffy and told him he wanted to go back home to the Sunny. No matter what Sanji cooks, Luffy always likes it and is proud to have him in his crew. Sanji is also one of Luffy’s “wings”, as stated by Robin! They’re both just so sweet and clearly care very deeply about each other.

Luffy saving Sanji on whole cake island got to me

[Insert everything that happens between them during WCI] how could I see luffy yelling about how he won't eat anything and will starve- LUFFY OF ALL PEOPLE- unless Sanji comes back and not ship them at LEAST a little. "Without you I can't become the pirate king" absolutely devastating cinema. Then Sanji laying out everything, in tears, and Luffy accepting it all and just saying, "well that's who you are" poetic. Final wci thing: luffy hearing judges bs about sanji and going "whyd he start listing all your good point" true love. This seems one sided but Sanji is also just as bad. "Which version of me do you prefer" anyone? They care SO MUCH about each other. Also Luffy loves to eat, Sanji loves to feed people, they're meant to be.

*gestures at the entirety of WCI* I mean that’s Love, they are Ride or Die, Luffy cannot become the pirate king without Sanji, whether that means physically because he needs Sanji’s support or just because being the pirate king means Luffy has everything he wants and what he wants is Sanji or both. And Sanji loves him just as much back! He’s his sun he’s his world…Luffy jump and Sanji’s too busy skywalking to bother asking how high. I just love them sm

PLEASE they are so great for the needs love/gives love dynamic because it goes both ways.

My fav somewhat rare pair. I specifically love on skypiea when Sanji sacrifices himself to save Usopp from Enel. (And of course the scene when they wake up from their injuries holding hands!!!!)
