“Aw, how lovely it is to see you two!”
“Hi, mum.”
Your mother held you warmly before turning to the person next to you.
“You’ve grown taller, Mattheo, dear.”
“As always, Mrs. y/l/n.”
She held him too, and Mattheo did his best to return the hug. His dark eyes turned to you and you offered him a small, affectionate smile. He suddenly looked more comfortable and smiled at your mother when she let him go.
“Leave your luggage here, dears, it can be unpacked later. Come, I’ve made you two some snacks.”
You and Mattheo follow her into the kitchen, and you can’t help but look at Mattheo. Partly because, well, it’s not like he wasn’t the most handsome boy you’ve ever seen, but mostly because you know he’s not always comfortable in your mother’s house, despite having living here for over two years now.
Mattheo and you had been best friends since your first year at Hogwarts. But as the years went by, knowing Mattheo was alone at Hogwarts during the holidays made you feel so upset that you started asking him if he wanted to spend it with you, which he accepted with a gratitude he had a hard time hiding. And, naturally, you also asked him if he wanted to come for summer break here as well. From the day Mattheo met your mother, she adored him and soon considered him a full member of the family, sending him sweets and gifts while at school just like she did for you, offering him gifts for his birthdays and Christmas as well, and he started coming every holiday without you asking him. You knew Mattheo was thankful for your mother’s hospitality and affection, as he always made sure to let her know, but you knew - despite him doing his best to hide it - that he felt that he somehow didn’t deserve the kindness and care you mother had shown him. It broke your heart to know he felt like that, but Mattheo wasn’t the kind to easily speak about his feelings so you never dared to bring it up, only sometimes telling him how happy you were that he was here, and that this house was his home.
But what your mother - or anyone else for that matter - didn’t know was that now having Mattheo around at all times was bittersweet for you. You absolutely loved having him in your house, where you knew he was finally loved and cared for, but it also made you two closer and made feelings for him grow - feelings you didn’t know were shared or not. It was slowly breaking you from the inside, and you didn’t know how to deal with it. Of course, you could talk about it with Pansy, who was your other best friend, or your mother, but you perfectly knew what they would both tell you: “tell him how you feel.” Merlin, no. You just couldn’t. Not only because if Mattheo didn’t feel the same way, your friendship would never be the same at best - or completely destroyed in the worst case scenario - and in both cases, you knew it wouldn’t take long for Mattheo to decide to leave your house. If I ever do tell him how I feel, it’s better to wait until we’re both out of Hogwarts and have our own places.
You walked in the kitchen to find your favourite snacks on the table.
“Aw, thanks, mum.”
“Yes, thank you, ma’am.”
“You’re more than welcome. Come, sit.”
The three of you sat around the table, you being next to Mattheo on one side and your mother on the other. You and Mattheo started eating while your mother asked about yours and Mattheo’s lives at school. You and Mattheo took turns in making conversation and even had a few laughs as you recalled some of the funny memories you had. After both your stomachs were full, you decided to go unpack your luggage. Mattheo had the same idea, and went to the bedroom that was now essentially his. You both finished at the same time, and found yourselves in the corridor of the second floor.
“I’ll go take a shower,” Mattheo said quietly. “If you don’t mind.”
“Of course not.”
He walked to the bathroom, but before he came in, you called for him. “Matty?”
He turned to you and you continued, “As always, this is your home.”
He gave you a single nod before quickly turning away and going into the bathroom. Letting out a small sigh, you went down downstairs in the living room and found your mother reading a book.
“Mum?”
She raised her head from her book, “Yes?”
You sat on the sofa next to her, a small smile on your face.
“You know Mattheo’s birthday is coming up?”
“Yes,” she nodded, “I already got his gifts and have everything I need to make his favourite cake. Why?”
“Well,” you said, “I thought that we could do something else for a change. We usually have quiet birthdays and it’s nice but I’d really like to do something for Mattheo this time.”
Your mother frowned, “Like what?”
“A surprise party?” you answered. “I could write to the boys and invite them to celebrate?”
“That’s a good idea, darling. I’ll soon go to Diagon Alley to buy some decorations and, well, more food and drinks.”
You smiled and went to give her a quick hug. “Thank you, mum. You’re the best.”
The evening was nice and quiet, spent playing chess with Mattheo on the ground in the living room like you always did, with your mother playfully cheering on the one winning from the sofa. Mattheo and you laughed a lot while playing, and it warmed your heart to see him relaxed and happy. You knew he was usually shy in the first days he came here, and while you perfectly understood it, you couldn’t wait for him to be his warm, chill, funny self again. The Mattheo you knew and loved. After dinner, your mother went to bed and soon after, Mattheo and you decided to follow. You both went upstairs, and you then went into the bathroom to take a shower and put on your pyjamas. Mattheo had his own bathroom, and he was likely getting himself ready to go to bed. Once you were done, you went to your bedroom, and you weren’t surprised to see Mattheo casually laying on your bed. You went to close the shutters, and when you got in bed, Mattheo’s arms immediately wrapped around your body, and you put your head on his chest. Mattheo and you had taken the habit of cuddling to sleep since the first night he spent here, where a discussion before going to sleep ended up with you guys falling asleep and for some reason waking up in each other’s arms. You found that you slept way better in Mattheo’s arms, so much so that this situation continued in Hogwarts - and it was made easier by your roommate Pansy essentially spending all her nights with Blaise. At first, you just enjoyed the feeling of warmth and safety Mattheo’s embrace gave you, but as your heart started to feel more than friendship for him, cuddling, just like his perpetual presence, became bitter-sweet. You still loved cuddling with Mattheo, in fact you didn’t even know if you could even sleep without him now, but you wondered if it was a good idea to continue like this. But even if I decided it was better to stop, how do I tell him?
“You alright?” you whispered, raising your head to look at him.
He nodded, “Yeah. Why?”
“I just want to make sure you’re comfortable here. This is your home, Matty. And it will always be. But if you’re feeling something different, I want you to tell me.”
“I’m fine, y/n, really. I’m grateful for your mum and you, you know that. Don’t worry your pretty little head over me.”
He kissed your hair, his hands started gently caressing your shoulder and the middle of your back. Soon after, you felt yourself going to sleep, and thought you heard a voice saying “sleep well, princess.”
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
The next following days, Mattheo and you spent all of your time together. Every meal, every activity - playing Quidditch in the garden, reading, studying, taking a nap - was done with him. You loved it, but it made it harder to write to Mattheo’s friends to invite them to the surprise party or to prepare the said party without him knowing, but you still managed to do it while he was reading a book in the living room. Thankfully, all the boys answered your letter and said they would come, and thankfully also, your mother had time to buy what was needed and had the idea to hide it in her room, where you and her knew Mattheo would never dare to go.
On the day of his birthday, you woke up once again in his arms, and kissed him on the cheek as he was slowly waking up.
“Happy birthday, Matty.”
“Thank you, pretty girl.”
You had managed to get Mattheo agree to go to Hogsmeade in the beginning of the afternoon to get his favourite sweets from Honeydukes so your mom could prepare everything for the party and welcome the guests. You spent some time here, and once you knew everything was likely to be ready, you and Mattheo got back home, and you had a hard time not smiling. But you also suddenly worried about how Mattheo would react. Last year, Theo had a surprise party and Mattheo was happy to help prepare it. But does that mean he wants one for himself?
You opened the door, and entered the silent house. Mattheo looked around the corridor, and put his bag full of sweets on the floor in order to take off his jacket.
“Is your mom here?” he asked.
“I don’t know,” you shrugged. “Let’s check the living room.”
Mattheo remained silent and approached said living room, and you had the biggest smile on your face when he suddenly stopped.
“Happy birthday!”
There was some cheering and applause, and Mattheo turned to you as you approached him.
“What-”
“It’s a surprise, Matty,” you couldn’t help but laugh at his confused face. “You deserved to have your friends and your brother with you today.”
He stared at you for a long minute, and you felt your heart beat faster, and he finally smiled at you.
“Thank you, y/n.”
You smiled back at him and gestured for him to go say hi to his friends, who were quick to wish him a happy birthday and greet him warmly, and his brother Tom, who was colder and more silent than the others. You looked around the room, and what your mother had done to decorate was incredible: there were numerous small fireworks up in the air alongside big golden letters saying “happy birthday Mattheo”, small decorations all around, and the long wooden table, usually bare, was also very much magically decorated. Mattheo hugged your mother to thank her while Pansy came closer to you.
“Well done, dear. If you’ve put it together for a friend, I can’t wait to see what you will do when you’ll be dating him.”
“Don’t start,” you warmed her. “Mattheo and I have always been friends and will always be.”
“We’ll see,” she teased.
You rolled your eyes and went closer to Mattheo. It was now time for him to blow out the candles and make a wish, and everyone was gathered around him as your mother brought his favourite cake decorated with whipped cream and full of magic candles.
“Happy birthday again, dear,” your mother smiled. “Make a wish.”
Mattheo closed his eyes for an instant and then blew out the candles. You applauded alongside the others, and everyone gave Mattheo their birthday gifts - books on Quidditch or history or wizards, Quidditch equipment, special quills, a watch - and then came your turn. Feeling your cheeks becoming red, you handed him your own gift, scared he might not like it. He unwrapped it and then saw the book.
“It’s, um, a photo album with some pictures we took along the years and, well, I wrote down some of my favourite memories with you.”
You heard some whispers among Mattheo’s friends - his brother Tom remained silent - but your only focus was on Mattheo’s reaction. He turned some of the pages, smiled at some of the pictures and read the memories you wrote down - and the note you had also written him about how much he meant to you and how special you genuinely thought he was. After a moment of apparently being lost in thoughts, he gently put down the book on the table near the others books he got and looked at you to give you a half-smile.
“Thank you, y/n.”
He gave you a quick, strange hug, and then turned to his plate. Feeling confused, you wondered if he truly liked the gift. You went to sit between your mother and Lorenzo, and as you ate the cake, you looked sometimes as Mattheo, who was now the center of attention, and as time went by, you saw him switching from his usual, funny self to a more quiet, uneasy self, barely listening to what Theo was saying to him. You guessed he was feeling overwhelmed, and as the others finished their plates and went to sit on the sofas, you saw Mattheo mumbling an excuse before leaving the room to go to the garden. You wanted to follow him to make sure everything was fine, but you knew he probably needed some time alone. After a while, you finally went outside, and found him sitting in the grass, lost in thoughts. You approached him slowly before sitting down next to him.
“Are you okay, Matty?”
He nodded, “Yes. Was it your idea to have this party?”
“Yes,” you said quietly. “Why?”
“Thank you, y/n. It means a lot,” he looked at the grass before shaking his head.
“You deserve it,” you said with a gentle voice.
“Actually, I’m not sure,” Mattheo said in a low voice, his head now down.
You frowned, confused. “What? Why?”
Mattheo turned to you and had a small sigh.
“Honestly, y/n. You and your mum have already so much for me. Letting me live here, giving me gifts, being there for me, and now this…What did I ever give you back? Nothing.”
You opened your mouth, but it took a few seconds to answer. “Mattheo, have you not read what I wrote in the photo album?”
He didn’t answer, still looking at the grass.
“Well?” you insisted. “What did the text say?”
“That you deeply cared about me,” he said, almost mumbling. “And that you thought of me as caring, and kind.”
“I meant it, alright?” you said in a more serious voice, wanting him to understand. “You’re the most exceptional person I know. You’re kind, gentle, funny, and caring. You’re a great friend to the boys, and you’re doing your best to have a good relationship with Tom, even when it’s not easy. You’re always there for me, you're always ready to spend time with me no matter the activity, and I know I always count on you whenever I need help or need comfort. You always know what to say, and you always listen to me when I have something to say. You’re also smart, and a damn good Quidditch player. I know you’re scared of becoming like your father, but I know you won’t. Because you two couldn’t be more different. And even if you started to be like him, we both know I’d smack some sense into you.” He had a hint of a smile and you went on, “Yes, sometimes you’re annoying and I think you love to fight too much, but nobody’s perfect, and I wouldn't want you to change for anything in the world. You’re the best person I know, Mattheo, and that’s why I’m in love with you.”
He whipped his head towards you, and that’s when you realised what you just said.
Oh, no. Oh, no. Merlin, no.
“I…Just…Forget what I said.”
You quickly rose up and almost ran back to the house, but you suddenly felt a warm hand on your wrist.
“Wait!” Mattheo said, “What the hell, you can’t leave like that after saying that to me.”
“Yes I can,” you retorted, panicking, “and that’s what I’m doing, just…forget it happened, alright?”
Mattheo let go of your wrist to run a hand through his dark curls.
“But, y/n, I can’t forget,” he said, frowning, as if it was obvious, “and I don’t want to. Did you really mean it?”
“Mattheo, I…”
“y/n, please,” he cut off more severely, both his voice and eyes now pleading. “Please, answer me.”
Doing your best to not look at him, you hesitated before nodding, feeling the need to disappear. He looked at you in a strange way, and you wondered what he was going to say.
“Look, Mattheo,” you started, “I know our f…”
“I love you too.”
It was now you turn to look at him with confusion. “What?”
“I love you too,” he whispered. “You’re…all I want, and all I need. You said this house is my home, but the truth is, you’re my home.”
All of a sudden, he stepped closer to you and brought his hand to your face, slowly caressing your cheek with all the gentleness in the world. You wondered what you should do next -  put your hand on his? Put your own hand on his cheek? - but he made the decision for you, suddenly lowering his head towards yours.
“Fuck, y/n…”
And after that whisper, he pressed his lips on yours. It took you a few seconds to kiss him back, but when you did, he immediately grabbed your waist to pull you closer before putting a hand on the back of your neck. You let out a moan, and he deepened the kiss. You had a hard time believing what you had been dreaming for years now was actually happening but at the same time, Mattheo’s lips on yours and his hands on your body was all you could feel, all you could think about and all that mattered. When he finally pulled away, you were both out of breath.
“Does you saying that you love me and this kiss count as two more birthday gifts?” he suddenly asked.
“If you want,” you laughed.
“Then, it really is the best birthday I’ve ever had.”
You both smiled at each other before he kissed you again before taking you into his arms, holding you as if he died if he let go. You held him as well, feeling that, wherever you were, Mattheo was also your home.

Caught

Summary: When their guest is away, Terry and Patrice will play.
Pairing: Terry Richmond x Black!OC
Word Count: 3,067
Warnings: Smut (18+ content)
Recommended Reading: Spoiled
Author's Note: Spoiled, Back Up, and Caught all happen on the same linear timeline. Consider them present day events. Hopefully that helps pull things together because you'll need the context later. Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays!
"Mommy, the recipe for the hand pies is so good. Thank you for finding it for me."
"Oh, of course, baby. One day, I gotta get you to help me put all your Nana's recipes in a book or something. I'm tired of digging through all these scraps of paper."
"I didn't wanna say anything, but that's insane. I can barely read her handwriting."
Rosalyn scoffed on the other end of the phone line. "You and me both. I have to call Sybil every time or end up making up what I think goes there. I cook. I don't decipher chicken scratch."
Patrice laughed along with her mother as she passed a piping hot meatball over her shoulder to satisfy her taste tester for the night. He hummed his approval of her gift, providing a thumbs up as his rating before returning his hand to her waist and swaying them in time with the slow rhythm of Christmas music playing in the background.
Christmas Eve brought preparation for the big day on the other side of a wake-up and a smaller get-together to celebrate Imani's and Jesus's birthdays in one evening. Patrice had offered to continue the tradition at her house to accommodate her cousin's request for loud music, liquor, and good, grown folks' fun. In a few short minutes, she and Terry would have a house full of adults gorging themselves on party food and fighting fits of giggles during a drunk game of Taboo. For now, she'd enjoy the calm before the storm with her shadow attached at the hip.
"The cinnamon smell for the apple version was way too strong, though. I almost skipped those altogether."
Rosalyn responded with a sound of cautious curiosity. "Really? You usually love the smell of cinnamon."
"Right," Patrice exclaimed. "Maybe I had a bad batch or something. It doesn't taste bad, but it smelled awful."
"Hm." Rosalyn filed the information in her head for a later moment of privacy, preferring not to stress her daughter with the questions buzzing around in the mind of a mother who knew her child better than anyone in the world. Instead, she continued. "Terry, did you like the hand pies?"
"You don't know if Terry is even in here, mama. He could be anywhere in the house," Patrice answered, her face screwed in confusion.
"Child, don't insult me. If you're in the kitchen, Terry is in the kitchen."
She wasn't wrong. A few too many glasses of Patrice's special holiday cocktail mixed with his ever-present desire to feel his wife at all times had Terry sticking to her like glue. Even after she'd given in to each of his kisses and allowed him to taste her the moment Imani stepped out to run a few errands, she still couldn't shake him. Whiskey was in control. Terry was only along for the ride.
He chuckled into the crook of Patrice's neck before confirming his presence. "Yes, ma'am, I loved the pies. Treece made a few on the side for me so I wouldn't have to share."
"She still got you spoiled, I see."
"Nah, not too bad. You know she gets sweet once a week. I caught her on a good day."
"Oh, hush."
Patrice's attempt to get out of Terry's grasp came up empty, prompting him to hold her tighter and press wet kisses onto the back of her neck. She was sadly mistaken if she thought she could get away from him that easy while Uncle Nearest was pumping through his veins.
"Well, let me let you two go," Rosalyn started with a small laugh. "Tell me how the chicken salad turns out. I might throw some together as a little snack for your daddy tomorrow. You know how he gets when he's ready to eat."
"Mhmm. Just like somebody else I know."
Terry patiently waited for Patrice to wrap up her conversation and safely end the call before resuming his handsy approach to PDA. His hands slid up and down the fabric of her cotton pajama pants, the pair matching his at her request. Full lips attached to her neck, creating a light suction with every open-mouthed kiss.
His wife rolled her eyes as she loaded a pita chip with dip for his culinary opinion. "You are insatiable, TJ. Taste this."
He obliged, opening wide as she slid food into his mouth and waited for a response. Instead of a verbal assessment of her work, he kissed her cheek twice to signal his approval, then returned to his shameless groping.
"How long before Imani gets back?"
"I don't know. Fifteen minutes or so. She only went to grab some more cups and water."
Terry's eyes flickered to the digital clock on the stove before sliding his hands up Patrice's torso and leaving a trail of kisses on her shoulder. "Think you got a few minutes to get back to what we started?"
"Haven't you had enough of me yet? We've been going at it every day since New Orleans."
"What you think?"
Having enough of her touch, the feeling of her body against his, or her attention was a foreign concept for Terry. If he could quit his job and be totally devoted to her pleasure, he would do so without a second thought. Fortunately for him, though, extended absences from the slough of office life due to the holidays provided the closest opportunity to spend the whole day in it.
Patrice smiled to herself as Terry slowly removed the serving spoon from her hand, bringing her delicate palm up to the back of his head. Coarse hair grown into a short tuft of curls and shaped by his barber tickled her fingertips as she closed her eyes, officially caught up in how Terry caressed her with the care afforded to precious works of art.
A low purr slipped past his lips as his hands slid beneath the hem of her camisole to rub her stomach, filling her ears and mind with filthy sounds and images from earlier in the hour. Had he had enough of her? She wasn't sure she'd had enough of him.
His fingertips inched higher, further intoxicating Patrice until a full squeeze on both breasts at the same time made her hiss and wince in pain.
"Easy, baby," she complained as she gently pressed down on his arms to direct him away from the sensitive area. "They're super tender right now. I'm not sure why."
Lust was quickly replaced by concern as Terry dropped his hands and turned Patrice to face him. "You okay?"
"I'm fine, Pooh. It's probably the tattoo healing.
"Yeah, but it shouldn't be making the entire area hurt. Especially not on both sides. Let me look."
"Terry, you never just look."
His attempt to slide the thin straps of her tank top down her arms was quickly cut short as Patrice brushed off his contact to save herself from what she assumed would come next. Her aching was a serious matter. Terry getting a look at her bare tits was not nearly as high on the list.
Terry softened his eyes in unmistakable sincerity. "I'm serious, Treece. I know what it should look like. Come here."
Patrice didn't protest as Terry led her to the kitchen table. She stood perfectly still until Terry was comfortable in one of the chairs and then placed her between his legs.
He gingerly pushed her tanktop straps down her arms before bunching the thin fabric at her waist to free her breasts, watching for any sign of discomfort.
"You don't think you're like…sick, do you?"
"I think it's just tenderness," she quickly retorted, wanting to push the thought of more grave explanations for her discomfort far from her mind.
"Okay, okay. I'm only asking."
Her brows furrowed as he lifted the right side to get a look at the moment from a charged few days in his family's old stomping grounds.
A day alone and nothing to do but explore had them wandering into the same shady tattoo parlor where Terry got his first piece for matching ink. Terry opted to tat their wedding date on his ribs after having to be talked down from plastering her name on his neck. Patrice, however, was set on making her first experience one to remember.
Slanted script crafted from his handwriting spelled Terry's full first name, curving just under the crease of her boob and the spot that he liked to grip in the depths of passion or simply at his leisure. Terry ran his thumb along each letter to check for abrasions or abnormalities.
He looked up at Patrice to gauge her reaction. "That hurt?"
"Not really. It's more here," she added, gesturing toward her areola. "Anything rubbing against it is so uncomfortable. I can barely wear a bra."
"I noticed. They've honestly been looking a little bigger. Do they feel heavy to you?"
"Not heavy. Mostly…full? They look great, though. I'm not complaining about that part."
She joked, the attempt sounding silly once it received no reaction past Terry blinking as he used the pad of his thumb to ghost contact over her pebbled nipple to test her pain level. It was challenging to stay present, with a third of her upper half unnecessarily exposed in their kitchen for no real reason. The entire ordeal felt like a farce. Terrence wasn't a doctor, and him holding her titties in his hands like fleshy snowglobes was as much an actual check-up as WWE was real wrestling.
When she giggled like a teenager learning about sex for the first time, Terry looked up at her with a quizzical expression, and his left eyebrow lifted high. "What's so funny?"
"You, Doctor Richmond," she laughed. "How can you tell they're bigger? I couldn't even tell until the other day."
"I spend a lot of time with my girls. I better notice when they change. Been looking at them since I was sixteen." Terry answered, a boyish grin making his cheekbones nearly touch the corner of his eyes.
"I knew you used to look!" She exclaimed, finally feeling vindicated in her suspicions from childhood.
"Looking was the least of what I was doing." He shrugged as he gently pushed both breasts together for his own viewing pleasure. He kissed the small crease they made two times over, then looked up at Patrice through long lashes. "Unfortunately, ma'am, I couldn't diagnose you, but I think I have some treatment available if you're interested."
Patrice bit back a smile to play along. "Oh yeah? How much is this gonna cost? It's the holidays, and I ain't got it."
"I offer payment plans that we can discuss in that room back there later tonight."
"I like the sound of that," she answered, previous problems vanishing into thin air as he roped her back into his web of liquor-charged desire.
"I knew you would," he winked. "Don't move."
Tingles rippled across Patrice's skin while she listened for any indication of Terry's secretive treatment plan. The soft crack and subsequent rush of cool from the freezer created goosebumps on her bare chest, making her nipples jut out proud from the sensation. Next came the cupboard opening and shutting in two seconds time. From the direction, she could tell he was grabbing a glass from over the sink.
Ice cubes clinked against the cup like little masters of whispers attempting to give Patrice the scoop on what to expect. Terry quietly shut the freezer and took heavy steps back to his seat, smiling at how Patrice truly hadn't moved a muscle in his few minutes away.
He placed the glass on the table behind him before tugging her hand to guide her closer. "Cold hot therapy. I sprained my knee once, and this got me back up and running in no time. Ice for the cold…" Terry's voice trailed as he plucked a piece of ice from his glass and pressed it to her nipple. He watched her jaw drop with a sharp inhale, intently focused on the way her eyelids fluttered closed at the sudden shock of frozen water. When a single drop began to make a trail down the swell of her breast, he pulled the ice away and brought his mouth closer. "And I'll take care of the hot."
"Oh…my God."
Whispers of unexpected pleasure sent Terry into a far-off place where he was only concerned with running a flat tongue across supple skin. Patrice rushed to steady herself by bringing her hands to the back of his head, cradling him while he went to work.
Ice cold. Soothing warmth. Ice cold. Soothing warmth and a light suckle. Again. And again.
He eyed her like a lion watches prey, taking notes of every little sound and twitch to know that he was fulfilling his job.
"Good job, baby," Patrice whispered, her head tossed back and praises spoken to the ceiling. "Good fuckin' job."
Terry ran his hands up the back of her thighs to roughly grip her ass. He groaned at the affirmation before pulling away to retrieve more ice. He held a small cube between his teeth to multitask, running it across her left nipple and areola until it had melted enough to fit both in his mouth.
Was it fixing her tenderness issue? Not really. But Patrice would be damned if his subtle slurping and moaning with her backside firmly in his clutches wasn't sufficiently taking her mind off things. So far off, she'd lost all concept of time and space.
While Terry pulled Patrice into his lap for a more intensive inspection, Imani entered the house high off the exhilarating freedom that can only come for night drives with a carefully curated playlist blasting from the speakers. Being stateside for the first time in a year was the perfect opportunity to experience one of life's simple pleasures.
Grocery bags rustled and knocked against the wall as she hummed along to the fragmented lyrics from a song on her Spotify playlist still coursing through her brain. A short pause in her personal concert to lock the door left space to hear a string of curious noises. Muffled half-sentences and a sort of trembling sigh made her quirk an eyebrow. She thought to herself that Terry and Patrice left the television on far too often for a pair of people who claimed to not spend much time in front of the tube, but quickly found that they'd taken to making a scene the old-fashioned way.
She stood in the open space, a perfectly shaped eyebrow pushed high on her face and an impressed smirk tugging at the right corner of her lip while she watched her baby cousin makeout with Imani's newest family member with a ferocity she didn't know Patrice had in her.
Patrice held Terry steady by his jaw, slightly hovering over him while she had her way leading a sloppy kiss. When she moved to push his head back toward her chest with a string of words filthy enough to make a pornstar blush, Imani cleared her throat to finally announce her presence.
"Oh shit," Patrice yelped, rushing to tap Terry's back and end his check-up.
His head popped up to survey the room, then slowly found a home on top of Patrice's once she pressed close enough against his chest to cover her naked breasts. The vibrations from his concealed chortling made Patrice pinch him in frustration. Nothing was funny, at least not to her.
Imani held her hands up in faux surrender. "No, please. Don't stop on account of me," she laughed. "Y'all were just getting started."
"We are so sorry, Moanie. This isn't what it looks like. Well, this part is exactly what it looks like, but I promise it didn't start like this. Terry was looking at my boobs to check on my tattoo and -"
"Girl, you do not have to explain anything to me. This is your house! Honestly, if I had those big ol' mommy titties, I'd want them in somebody's face too. And you got them for free! The girls gotta go under the knife or get pregnant for those. How does it feel to be God's favorite? Terry, can you help me get the water out of the car when you finish?"
Terry looked down at his visibly distressed wife and then back at Imani to save face for the both of them. "Yeah, I got you. Gimme a minute."
Moanie didn't notice how she'd launched her cousin into an internal spiral as she pranced off to busy herself with getting ready in her room for the week, but Terry did. He carefully sat Patrice up and helped redress her, careful to ease into conversation.
"You alright?"
"I had my cycle this month," Patrice rushed out, her gaze far off as Terry lifted her arm to put it back in her camisole strap. "It can't be that. I had my cycle." When her focus returned, her eyes snapped to Terry's for confirmation. "Right? I did, right?"
He nodded, unsure of how to proceed to quell her fear. "You did, baby. But, maybe…"
Sure, it was lighter than usual, but she'd had a cycle. Her body functioned like it did every month, on time and without pomp and circumstance. There was no cause for concern.
But…maybe.
Patrice looked down at her belly then back up at Terry, searching for answers in his sympathetic expression. He leaned forward and held her head with both hands to give her a kiss she couldn't return before he spoke.
"Don't drink tonight. Just in case. We'll figure it out in the morning. Okay?"
"Okay." She whispered back without truly processing the gravity of his instruction.
Terry slowly lifted Patrice from his lap to fulfill Imani's request for assistance, leaving her to stand perfectly still in the kitchen. She counted backward in her head, retracing her steps and important dates until a headache sent her to take a seat.
It was just tenderness. It'd go away by morning, and all of this would be a silly story to tell whenever they got together in the spring for their European honeymoon. She'd drink an entire bottle of wine over heaps of pasta, turning the whole situation into a fond memory before raising her hand to call the server for another round. All water under the bridge, right?
But…maybe.

I hear my moms screech as I rifle through my suitcase, “Kimi!” I groan and throw my clothes out, looking for a specific bracelet that I threw in here last minute, “Scendi! Sbrigati!” (Come down! Hurry up!)
Her tone makes me know to not mess around, “Cosa c'è di così urgente!?” I yell back, finally finding the bracelet and hurrying out of my room (what is so urgent!?) I regret not grabbing my sweatshirt immediately when I step outside to look for my family.
It’s absolutely freezing. My arms tense up as I struggle with the clasp of my bracelet still, turning the corner to the driveway and pausing when I spot the crowd.
The ‘Crowd’ as is my dad, mom, sister, and four other people I don’t know.
I swear to myself and put on my favorite son smile, “Hi! Sorry.” I say in english, knowing instantly that i’m going to get yelled at by my mother later.
“Kimi.” My dad gives me a look but I know behind the stern facade, he’s biting back a laugh, “These are the Lexingtons.” I nod as my bracelet finally clasps and I breathe out.
“Oh he knows us!” The dad is tall and vaguely familiar. I’ve met the parents before and pretend I remember them more than I actually do, shaking his hand and hugging the mom.
They’ve been my parents' closest friends for the last three years and have decided that we must spend Christmas together for some reason. My mom thought it was the best idea ever while my sister only cared about Santa skimping on the presents.
“I don’t believe you’ve met our daughters!” The mom is very nice and my eyes leave her to land on the girl her same height, “This is Y/n, and…” I wish I was kidding when I say I don’t hear anything this woman says after Y/n.
She’s fucking stunning. His cheeks are flushed from the cold and her arms are tightly against her puffer jacket. She’s wearing a beanie over her long hair that’s slightly curled.
My sister steps on my foot which brings me back to reality as her new friend, Y/n’s little sister, smiles up at me.
Two whole weeks with a family I barely know and their gorgeous daughter who’s staying in the room over from mine. This should be interesting and in my case, likely embarrassing.

“I don’t believe you’ve met our daughters!” I hear my mom talk but am stuck on looking at the outside of the house. I’m cold and hungry and wanting to get these introductions over with so we can go inside. “Y/n, this is the Antonelli's son! Kimi!”
My moms words make me turn from the landscape of white trees and blue skies, to the man in front of me, “You two should get along great! Y/n loves racing and is your age!”
He looks a bit shy and doesn’t open his mouth except for the corner quirking up a bit. He’s taller than me, weirdly in a short sleeve shirt that’s making me more aware of his arms in the cold. He’s got dark curly hair that’s being dusted in snow, his face is young yet sharp. Shit he’s cute.
I’ve seen him before, I’ve stalked him on instagram purely for his racing. When he got announced for the next Mercedes driver, I may have cried purely because it meant Lewis was truly going to Ferrari. Still, I've never seen him in person unless it was a big screen at a race.
The moment we get inside, the dads take our bags and speak quickly as they go up the stairs. Our sisters have met before and are already best friends. I wish it was as easy to make friends at eighteen as it was at eight.
My mom turns to me, smiling and rubbing my arm as I still shiver from the cold. “It’s beautiful here, E.” She addresses Kimi’s mom as she claps her hands together, clearly pleased.
“I must show you around!” The dark haired woman turns to Kimi, starting in Italian before switching back to english. I’m assuming it’s because my mom and I don’t understand the language. “Kimi, Go show Y/n around! Maybe you two can go and get the firewood later!”
She kisses his cheek to which he doesn’t look embarrassed but more pleased at his moms happiness.
My mom and his disappear into the kitchen as he slips his hands in his pockets, stretching his arms and not meeting my eyes.
“So…” I clock the accent immediately, “The backyard is really cool but I'll spare you from the cold for now.” He smiles and looks at me.
“I appreciate it. I’m not really used to the cold.” I shrug, I usually spend the Christmas season on the beach. “Have you guys been here for long?” It’s awkward but I panic. I heard they come here every winter break and have owned his house for years.
“No… just got here this morning.” I nod slowly, looking around the entryway.
He clears his throat, “I’ll show you around later, how does warming up in the car sound? We really do need firewood.”
His words make me less nervous, “That sounds perfect.” Kimi drives his family's rental car, blasting the heat as I finally take off my jacket for the first time today.
I’m in jeans and a long sleeve navy top, Kimi is in a black crewneck which makes my thoughts much more holy. “Your mom said you like racing? Are you a merc fan or am I going to have to ignore you for the rest of this trip?”
I surprisingly laugh at his words, “I’m a Lewis fan which is complicated…” considering he’s officially taking his seat.
He shrugs, one hand on the wheel and the other tapping the gearshift, “I’ll just have to make you a Kimi fan.” he says it with a cheeky smirk planted on his face, “Have you ever been to a race?”
I nod, “I saw you race actually, your family invited us. I actually can’t believe this is the first time I'm meeting you… Our families are so close.”
He agrees and I realize how small this town is as he pulls into the store. , “Right, I'm pretty busy.” He scratches the back of his neck and parks. “Are you out of school yet?”
“Yup! I’m interning at an art museum actually, school was never really my thing.”
“I get it.” He gets out of the car. “But my schooling was more casual because of racing. Maggie is the total opposite of me, she loves it.”
I hop out and follow him in, “Your sister is adorable, the first time I met her, she wouldn’t stop bragging about you.”
This makes his cheeks go red, “She’s very proud.”
“It’s cute.” I lose him in an aisle, looking for gum.
I jump up and see the top of his head, making my way back over to him as he holds the wrapped wood.
He holds it up and laughs a bit, “Aren’t we supposed to be rustic and cut wood ourself this trip?” I cross my arms as he shakes his head.
“By all means, go ahead. I’ll stay with my pre-cut firewood.” I have a vision of Kimi, an axe, and a stump and quickly shake my head and watch him pay.
He speaks to the man at the register in italian, quick and twisted words that I can’t understand. Peaking back at me with a small smile on his face.

“This is your room.” I yawn, tired for the day of traveling and being on my best behavior. I lean against the door frame as she walks around it, dropping her bag on the bed and sitting down. “I’m right next door, if you need anything.”
She raises brow as I cough and realize how weird that sounded, “I mean not that you would… I'm sure you’re perfectly capable.” I’m blushing now, “Um! I mean like if you can’t figure out the heat or- i’m gonna shut up now.” I want to slap myself for my stupid rambling.
She’s grinning now, laughing at me, “Do you snore?” She doesn’t miss a beat and it makes me sigh in relief, shaking my head. “Then we should be good.”
I nod, “Well… i’m gonna go.” I stand up straight.
“I’ll be sure to ask for anything, if I need it.” Her nose scrunches cutely, teasing me a bit as I shake my head and walk out.
Maggie and Y/n’ sister, Delilah are sharing the room downstairs. Maggie jumped at the idea of sharing the bunk bed room with Delilah so Y/n is in her old room.
Mine is my favorite in the house. It’s not the biggest, but has the best view of the backyard and mountains. When I was younger, I’d sit and build legos on the balcony, practically freezing my ass off and giggling while doing it.
I brush my teeth and wash my face, falling asleep in my bed shirtless and in pajama pants because of how high my dad puts the temperature. I’m woken up by Y/n’s scream.
I don’t even get the chance to see if she’s okay before my door is being pounded on. She’s whisper yelling, “Kimi! Antonelli! Italian kid hurry up!” I pull off the blanket and open the door, she’s bouncing up and down with a horrified look on her face.
She looks at me panicked, “Somethings in there!”
I raise a brow, still tired and very confused, “Something?” Her makeup is off and she’s in sweats and a hoodie, just as pretty as she was all dressed up.
I zone back in when I remember she’s pretty but still in distress, “It was under the covers! Antonelli, I swear!” The way Y/n is looking at me, so convincingly, I believe her.
“You’re gonna make me go look, aren’t you?” A sweet smile lands on her face, shooing me into the room. I shake my head and secretly say a prayer that I'm not about to be attacked by a woodland creature.
I can hear her breathing as I step up to her bed, seeing a tiny lump under the blanket. I know instantly, pulling off the comforter and laughing quietly, “Shit, Lex!” I mess with her a bit, “It’s huge!”
I grab my sisters kitten and turn around with her in my grasp, Y/n squeals but her face drops when she realizes it’s a cat. “You have a cat!?” She yells at me as if it’s my fault.
“It’s Maggie’s!” I shrug, holding her fluffy little body against my skin. Her against me reminds me that I am still shirtless.
It clearly reminds Y/n too because her cheeks go red, giving me complete false hope and boosting my ego. She hums before stepping forward and scratching her head, “I can’t believe no one told me! What’s the name?”
“Bambi.” I say as she starts biting my finger and clawing into my hand, “Ow!” Y/n is laughing now as I try to pry the little beast off of me.
I try to keep it down but Bambi is clawing my skin! “Maggie is supposed to keep her downstairs-” she then flies off my hand and onto the floor where she scrambles under Y/n’s bed.

Kimi looks defeated and I almost feel bad for waking him up. When he moves his hand to his hair, I don’t feel as bad.
I was in such a state of shock that I didn’t even realize he was shirtless until he was in front of me, holding a kitten. I feel like I'm in some smutty book, especially with the crack of the fire and the snow past my windows.
“What time is it? You scared the shit out of me.” Kimi shakes his head as I grab my phone from the nightstand. I panicked so bad that I didn’t even try to run down the hallway to find my parents, just went to Kimi.
“Midnight.” I shrug, tugging at my hoodie’s neck, “You went to sleep at like eight though.” He gives me an annoyed look.
“I was tired!” His hands go to his hips, “What have you been doing then?”
I look at the floor that’s covered in wrapping paper and tape, “Wrapping presents!” His eyes are narrowed and glued to the shitty job I'm doing. “Okay I gave up for a reason!”
Kimi shakes his head and laughs a bit, “This cannot be your honest attempt at wrapping.”
I frown and sit down, my feet covered by fluffy socks. “People make it look so easy! I wanted to do it so we could have presents under the tree.”
He sighs and sits next to me, “Lucky for you.” He takes the roll of tape and circles it around his finger before grinning, “I’m a great wrapper.”
Five presents later and I'm laughing my ass off, “You’re a horrible wrapper!” He’s wearing a sweatshirt now, claiming he got ‘cold’ but I'm pretty sure he caught me checking him out.
Kimi holds up the wrapped barbie for my sister, his brow raised, “Excuse you… This- is a masterpiece.” There’s extra bits of tape on it and ripped parts of the paper.
I shake my head and grab the monstrosity out of his hands, “Maybe if I squint!” I run my hand through my hair as Kimi leans against the wood of my bed that I haven’t even laid in yet.
“I still need a present for my dad. Are you all done shopping?”
I laugh, “Antonelli, a woman is never done shopping.” A slow smirk makes its way onto his face as his head leans back.
“Then you can help with mine.” His finger taps against his knee, his eyes soft and tired. “Any plans for tomorrow?”
I shake my head, “Your mom said we were going to the store and she insisted I see some tree lighting…?” Kimi smiles at this.
“Yeah the town has a tree lighting every year!”
“Oh! Like new york?” Bambi, who’s been hiding under my bed until now, waddles out onto Kimi’s lap looking just as tired as him.
Kimi smooths his hand over her fur, which is the size of her. He looks confused so I pull out my phone and show him a video. His jaw is dropped in an instant. “How- How does that work electrically wise?
I scoff, “You’re not wondering how they got a gigantic tree there!?”
He rolls his eyes, “Well, Yes! But that’s a fuck load of lights. Don’t expect that tomorrow… the tree is the same every year and nowhere near that size.”
“I’m excited to explore! Do you have any other traditions?” my phone dings and I ignore it.
He nods, “You’ll have to see for yourself though…” my phone dings, “Also if my parents mention anything about a cheese wheel, run.” my phone dings again as I frown.
Who is texting me so late? It dings again, groaning, I pick it up.
Kimi holds a knee to his chest, “Boyfriend blowing up your phone?”
I let out an involuntary snort, “No!” He raises a brow at my reaction, “I mean, I don’t have a boyfriend.”
“Good to know.” The look on his face that follows his words tells me that he did not think before he spoke.
I ignore the blush on his cheeks and look down at my best friend's flood of texts, “It’s my friend… Sorry she’s totally freaking out.”
“Is she okay?” He lets Bambi lick his finger.
I text back quickly and nod, “Yes she just suffers from dramatizing everything.” He laughs quietly, “Girl drama.”
I yawn and stretch. We’ve been on the floor for what feels like hours and when my friend's text pops up again, I realize it has been.
“We should get to sleep… one tradition I will warn you about is my moms early breakfast’s.” He stands up with Bambi in his hand, “I’ll take B in my room.”
“You can leave her!” I stand, “Now that I know she’s harmless, except for some mild biting, she can stay.” He looks pleasantly surprised, handing her over to me, our hands touching.
He smiles as I bring her to my face and she licks my nose, “Night, Lex.” it catches me off guard for a second, then I realize he’s referring to my last name.
I smile softly and watch him leave, “Sweet dreams, Antonelli.”

୨୧° 🎄 °୨୧
Let’s start with Ellie being sensitive to the cold. Her freckles turn red as soon as the snowflakes start falling around her, but of course, she acts like it doesn’t bother her at all. That is, until she ends up stealing Abby’s jacket or accepting a pair of gloves as a gift—not because she’s cold, but because they have stars on them!
Abby, on the other hand, isn’t as bothered by the cold. Her body naturally stays warm, so she doesn’t struggle as much. She dresses warmly enough—sometimes even a bit too much, knowing Ellie will probably need the extra layer later. But her favorite winter accessory? Beanies. Abby loves them and always wears one during the winter months.
This was their first Christmas together in their own home. Neither of them is particularly obsessed with Christmas, and neither gets overly excited about decorating, but they still made it work. They both have mixed feelings about the holiday. Ellie was orphaned until she was fourteen, so by the time she had a family, she was too old to really believe in Santa. Abby lost her mother when she was young, so celebrating Christmas without her has always been a bit confusing.
But there was one thing that couldn’t be skipped: the Christmas tree. Abs, along with Lev and Yara, decorated it with ornaments that had everyone’s name on them. It did turn into a bit of a competition about who would carry the tree to the living room, but in the end, it was a team effort between Ellie and Abby, neither willing to back down.
During the holidays, Ellie had some free time and decided to learn how to knit. With not much work to do and having already learned a bunch of cheesy Christmas songs on her guitar, she thought it would be a fun new skill. Her efforts culminated in her gifting hand-knitted sweaters to everyone, along with a special Christmas stocking for Abigail. Els thought it was a small, silly gesture, but trust me—Abby cherished it more than anything.
They spent Christmas with everyone, even though the mixed group made things a bit awkward. Luckily, Abby’s homemade food helped ease the atmosphere. By the end of the night, Ellie was telling terrible jokes with Joel, who was sipping on whiskey and humming an old Christmas song. Meanwhile, Jerry was helping Abby in the kitchen.
When it came to gifts, Abby went all out for Ellie: brand-new strings for her guitar, watercolor paints, and a star projector for their bedroom. Ellie’s gifts for Abby were heartfelt and practical: a hand-thrown ceramic mug for Abby’s morning coffee, a gray knitted beanie she made herself, and some new gym equipment (not sure exactly what, but maybe resistance bands or weights?)

“So…” you said, twirling the straw of your milkshake, your eyes constantly darting from your milkshake up to Tara who was seated across from you with her own milkshake.
You continued to play with your straw, unsure on how to broach the subject. You had been meaning to bring it up for a while but there was the whole Ghostface attack, then you were injured, and then you were avoiding everyone, there was just never a good time. You knew currently wasn’t the most ideal time, but it was the best time to come up, Tara and you were done with the semester, a whole day earlier than Chad and Mindy since you just didn’t have class the next day, you and Tara were both going to therapy and slowly dealing with the Ghostface stuff, and you were slowly falling back into a normal pattern with everyone. You had taken Tara out for celebratory milkshakes for (literally) surviving the semester.
“What?” Tara asked with a small smile, taking a sip of her milkshake but you could hear the nervousness as she lightly chuckled.
“At the potential risk of you getting mad at me,” you said slowly, watching as she slowly looked up from her shake, slightly narrowing her eyes at you, ready to yell at you for something you must have done. “Is there anything special you want to do for your birthday?” you quickly took a drink of your shake, peeking over the glass for Tara’s reaction.
Tara let out sigh, slumping back in the booth as it was her turn to play with her straw. She didn’t seem mad at your question which you were grateful for, you really didn’t want to say something to set her off. You didn’t know all the gritty details because she didn’t like to talk about them, but you knew Tara wasn’t a fan of her birthday. Tara’s birthday was a little over a week before Christmas and her dad had left during that time. Christmases had never been the same after that and you gathered from Mindy that they only got worse when Sam left a few years later, Christmas becoming almost nonexistent.
Mindy once explained that Tara tolerated her birthday after her dad left, she still had a party and cake but once Sam left it just became another day. You had only heard about her mother, and nothing had been good, you weren’t surprised that she never tried to do anything special with Tara. You wanted to do something special for her, but you didn’t want to push her away or do something that would only bring her more pain. Since Sam was back you weren’t sure if that changed Tara’s mind at all on birthdays or if she just wanted tomorrow to be another day.
“If you don’t want to do anything, it’s cool,” you said softly. You slowly reached across the table, your fingers grazing hers before she made the finale move to intertwine hands. “We can just hangout, watch movies, make out until Sam gets home and she throws me out,” you smirked.
Tara giggled at your joke, and you shyly smiled at yourself for that. Tara’s shoulders relaxed. She took another long sip of her shake, playing with the straw again as you patiently waited for her response.
“I don’t know,” she said, giving you a sad smile. “I haven’t done anything in years, I definitely don’t want anything big, but I don’t know.”
“Hey,” you whispered, tilting your head down to try and meet her eyes. “We don’t have to do anything big, it can just be dinner, it could just be movies and cake,” you chuckled, getting a small smile out of her. “If you want it to be just you and your sister, or you and the twins, or just the core four, then I’ll make myself scarce.”
“No,” Tara shook her head. You titled your head not sure what part she was saying no to or if she was saying no to the whole thing. “I want you there, no matter what we do.”
“Whatever you decide, I support.” You brought your intertwined hands to your lips, placing a kiss on her fingers. “What’s not up for debate though is me getting you a present.”
“No, you don’t have to, I don’t want you to waste-”
You quickly dropped her hands to point at her, making sure to put on your serious face. “It’s not a waste. Spending money on you is never a waste.” Tara smiled at your words but didn’t seem convinced. “Except for that god awful movie, you made me see over the summer.” Tara’s mouth dropped open. “I wish I could pay to have it erased from my brain.”
“It was a good movie!” Tara gestured widely, openly laughing at you.
“It didn’t have any explosions,” you fired back.
“So, the only way for a movie to be good is for it to have explosions?” Tara raised an eyebrow.
You shrugged. “It never hurts,” you mumbled. “It was so boring,” you sighed, dramatically throwing your head back against the booth. “All they did was talk!”
“It was a psychological thriller!” you cut her off by letting out a loud snore. “You’re an ass,” she threw her straw wrapper at you.
“And yet you love me.” You shrugged. “Maybe you need better taste in partners and movies.” She raised both eyebrows at you. “Wait…”
Tara shook her head, chuckling at you. “We can do something,” Tara said slowly. You could see the way she was thinking about the words as she said them, but you couldn’t help the way your eyes lit up.
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah,” Tara nodded more to herself than to you. “Just something small.”
“Of course. Do you want to go out to eat or keep it at the apartment.”
“The apartment. If that’s okay?”
“Of course,” you smiled, taking her hand again. “It’s your birthday, we’re going to do whatever you want to do.”
You and Tara finished your shakes, not talking about birthday plans anymore. When you were all done you walked Tara back to her apartment. You would normally stay a little longer, but the sisters agreed to dinner once a week with just each other and tonight was that night.
“See you tomorrow?” she looked at you with wide eyes.
“Bright and early,” you smiled.
“Not to early,” she put a hand on your chest. “I want to sleep in.”
“Yes ma’am,” you saluted her.
She rolled her eyes at your ridiculous, lightly punching you in the shoulder. She leaned in, grabbing you by the back of the head as she gave you a long goodbye kiss. When she finally released you, she smirked at your dumbstruck state. She gave you a light push, gently closing the door on you as you just stared at her smiling.
You shook off the effects of her kiss a few seconds later. You stepped closer, leaning closer to the door to see if you could hear Tara still in the room. You waited another minute before bringing your fist up and lightly knocking. It wasn’t even a moment later before the door was being flung open and the person you were hoping for was standing before you.
“Ugh,” Sam groaned. “Why are you back?” she shrugged. She turned to yell back into her apartment, “Ta-” you quickly put a hand over her mouth, dragging her out into the hall.
“Sorry,” you whispered, looking back into the apartment as the door closed, making sure Tara didn’t hear or see anything. “I didn’t want Tara to hear,” you quickly took your hand away from her mouth and let go of her.
“I-” a hard slap to your face cut you off. Your head whipped to the side so quick, you were to stunned, you didn’t even say ow. You brought a hand to your jaw, as you slowly turned back to Sam, your mouth wide.
“Don’t ever touch me,” she stepped closer, pointing threateningly at you.
“Sorry,” you whimpered. “I-I-I just wanted to talk to you.”
“What?” she stepped back, crossing her arms.
You cleared your throat, shaking your head but still feeling the sting of your cheek. “Tara agreed to celebrate her birthday.” Sam’s arms relaxed, her eyes going wide. “She doesn’t want anything big just a little something here at the apartment. I was hoping maybe you could get the food?” Sam nodded; her mouth open but no words came out. “Great!” you smiled, completely forgetting Sam had slapped you. “Don’t worry, I’ll get the cake. Just make sure Chad and Mindy know?” Sam silently nodded again. “Great! Great, thank you.”
Sam stood there speechless for a moment, just looking at you. You were about to get concerned, you had never seen Sam like this, not even after you got stabbed for her. “Sorry for slapping you,” she finally said.
“I probably deserved it,” you shrugged. “You’ve been wanting to do that for a while, haven’t you?”
“Oh my god yes,” she sighed, making you chuckle.
“It was a good one,” you nodded. “My face still hurts.”
Sam gave a satisfactory nod before turning and opening the door again. “Goodbye.” She didn’t wait for you to respond before closing the door.
You nodded to yourself and then quickly ran home. You considered the whole day a success. Tara was going to get the birthday that she deserved, you would make sure of it, you got her a present you knew she’d love, and you were pretty sure Sam was starting to warm up to you. You just needed to wear her down a bit more, maybe save her life again, and before you know it, she’d be wanting to hangout. Okay, maybe that was farfetched but eventually she wouldn’t roll her eyes every time she saw you.
***********************************
The next day you woke up early, running to the grocery store to pick out a cake for Tara. It was last minute so you couldn’t get something crazy and custom, but you looked at the options they had. You stared at each cake for over a minute, contemplating which one would be best. Ultimately you decided on a basic yellow cake, white icing, and little balloons and flowers decorating the edges. You bought some blue icing and took off to the Carpenters apartment. It was after noon when you knocked on the door. Tara opened it, still rubbing her half-closed eyes.
“Morning,” you said, smiling and giving her a quick kiss on the cheek as you entered the apartment. She groaned in greeting before throwing herself face down on the couch.
You shook your head at her, laughing at your very much not a morning person girlfriend. You didn’t consider yourself a morning person either, but you would get up early if it meant coming to see Tara, even though you would usually pass out on their couch in less than an hour of being there. You got back to work, sitting the cake on the table, flipping open the lid and delicately began using the blue icing to write out ‘Happy Birthday Tara’. When you were satisfied with your work you gently closed the lid and put the cake in the fridge where Sam had cleared space.
You wiggled your way onto the couch with Tara instantly sitting up to cuddle into your side. You flipped on the TV silently watching random shows until Tara decided to join the rest of the world. When Tara woke up, she woke up, she was up and talking, listing off all the movies she intended to make you watch until dinner. And that’s how you spent the rest of the day, curled up watching movies until Sam got home then the twins arrived a couple hours later, letting out sighs of relief at being done with the semester.
It wasn’t much longer before the pizza arrived. The five of you gathered around the table, your arm constantly around Tara as all of you talked and joked. Sam even joined in, telling stories of babysitting all of them and all the trouble they tried to get into. You laughed along but mostly you watched, you watched the way Tara’s eyes crinkled as she laughed, she didn’t stop smiling the entire night. When you brought out the cake Tara’s eyes lit up, giving you a kiss as you sat it in the middle of the table. Sam got the candles, lighting them and they all watched as Tara blew them out. Chad didn’t wait for the candles to be pulled out before he grabbed a knife and began cutting the cake, taking an extra-large piece for himself.
When the night started to die down all of you gathered in the living room, putting Tara in the big chair so she was the center of attention as everyone gave her presents. Chad gave her a couple gift cards, scratching the back of his neck as he looked around, noticing everyone else got her actual gifts. Tara said it was fine though and he knew how much she loved gift cards. Mindy shoved her gift into Tara’s hands next, excitedly watching as Tara unraveled the gift.
“Oh my god!” Tara shouted, jumping up from her seat. She turned showing a framed poster of one of her favorite movies, signed by the whole cast.
“Can I claim best gift yet?” Mindy asked, leaning close to your ear.
“You wish,” you said, playfully shoving her back.
Sam shook her head, rolling her eyes as she watched you and Mindy as she handed Tara her gift. Tara had just gotten seated again but as soon as she tore through the paper, she was on her feet again. She turned the box around showing tickets to something. When you got a closer look, you noticed it was for a museum tour that was in town. It opened in a few weeks, but tickets had quickly sold out, Mindy and Tara had both tried to get tickets but were unsuccessful. It was a moving exhibit of a horror props and costumes from a bunch of different movies. The exhibit was making its way across the country and Mindy and Tara had both squealed when it was announced to coming to the city.
“Dammit,” Mindy whispered. “You may have won this one,” she pointed at Sam. “But I’m not even mad!” she broke out into a smile as Tara handed her one of the tickets.
“So, can your oh so amazing gift top this?” Tara teased, staring down at you.
You looked up at her, smirking as you shrugged. She was about to sit back down but you grabbed her hand, keeping her on her feet. You slowly pulled out a little velvet box as you got down on one knee. Everyone went silent, Tara bringing a hand to her mouth as tears pricked the edge of her eyes.
“No!” Sam shouted, jumping up from her chair, making everyone turn to her. Sam froze, her arm midair as if she were reaching out to stop you.
“I’m not proposing,” you sighed, rolling your eyes. Flipping open the box to reveal a gorgeous silver ring, with a singular blue stone in the center.
“Are you sure?” Mindy whispered.
You ignored Mindy as you stood up, gently taking Tara’s hand as you slipped the ring onto her right ring finger. “It’s just a ring, with your birthstone,” you smiled down at the ring, looking at the glimmering blue stone.
“It’s nice to know that’s how you’ll react if I ever propose though,” you said, shooting Sam a glare before laughing it off. You saw the ring and instantly knew it was Tara’s style, you only thought of getting down on one knee when you realized it would make Sam freakout and then you just couldn’t pass the opportunity up.
“If?” Tara questioned, starting to pull her hand away from you.
“When,” you corrected, tugging her hand back. “But I would rather graduate first unless you want me to propose? I can redo this whole thing,” you gestured around. You were joking but if Tara had said yes, you knew you would totally do it in a heartbeat, she was the love of your life and if she wanted you to propose while you were freshman in college then you would.
“I think after graduation sounds wonderful,” she smiled, pulling you in for a kiss.
She broke the kiss but kept you close, your heads nearly brushing together. She looked down, holding up her hand to get a good look at the ring. “I love it,” she whispered, pulling you in for another kiss. “I love you.”
“I love you too,” you whispered back.
“Thank you, for the best birthday ever,” she flung her arms around your neck, pulling you into a hug. You quickly wrapped your arms around her waist, hugging her back just as fiercely.

A Love For Christmas Part 1
Hello, it's December so that means Christmas!! For the next four weeks, I'm going to be posting two chapters a day until the Sunday before Christmas. And if it stays the eight chapters I'm planning it should be all out on time. (fingers crossed, it is going smoothly soo...)
Summary: Steve is a business man charged with planning his dad's company Christmas party. Christmas has never been a good day for him, so he's a bit of Scrooge as far as the holiday is concerned. So when he meets tree farmer Eddie Munson, the man decided to show Steve what Christmas means. And maybe with a little Christmas magic Steve will find more than just a love for the holiday, he'll find love for Christmas too.
~
On October 31st, I gathered my best elves and explained my problem.
Dear elves, it has come to my attention in the light of recent events Christmas cheer is down nearly a thousand percent. There aren’t that many of us, so Mrs. Claus and I have come to the conclusion that we should send out ambassadors to places that need it the most. You don’t have to turn the whole town, just one person. Because that one person will have a ripple effect that will spread to others.
These are the list of places we think you’ll do the most good:
I listed off all the towns and I turn to the last elf in the line.
“I have something special in mind for you.”
“Me?” the elf squeaked.
“Yes, I’m sending you to Hawkins, Indiana. I think you’ll do well there.”
“Am I being punished?”
I let out a jolly laugh.
“No little one, not everyone is fit for every job. This is to see what you can do and if this doesn’t work out. We’ll find something else.”
~
It wasn’t that Steve hated his job. No, of course not. He hated that his boss was his dad and everyone shunned him for it. Even though he had gone to school for it same as they had, but nope. Just because he was the boss’s son, it was nepotism. He hated the long hours. He hated the way they were only surface level do-gooders. Paying only lip service to causes like cancer research, the environment, and the queer community, all the while the bosses lined their pockets with bigger and bigger bonuses, while his coworkers and his, yes his, wages stagnated.
But most of all he hated the way the company did Christmas. All talk about food banks and giving to the poor, while throwing lavish parties and big giveaways to the employees.
So no, he didn’t hate his job. He just hated everything about it.
“Steven!” Mr. Harrington boomed, throwing open the door to his office. “I’m going to need you to throw the Christmas party this year. Dolores is out with COVID again and won’t be able to set everything up.”
Steve bit back a groan of annoyance. He sucked at planning.
But before he could launch a protest that sure she could do it from home or find someone else to do it, Mr. Harrington’s phone rang out loudly in the room.
Mr. Harrington held up a finger to shush him while he checked his message.
“Well, damn,” he grunted. “I’m going to have to find a new secratary. That was her husband. Her funeral is on Saturday at 10am. I’m sure you’ll do great.”
He wandered off muttering to himself, wondering if he could get a hot blond this time and whether or Steve’s mother would even notice.
Steve buried his face in his hands and let out a muffled scream. He pinched himself and even picked up a paper to see if he could read it. But alas, he was not dreaming. This wasn’t a nightmare.
He was in actual fucking hell.
~
“Steven!” Mr. Harrington bellowed, storming into his apartment two days later. “One of the IT guys, Milton, Morris or something–”
“Mitch?” Steve asked with a raised eyebrow.
Mr. Harrington snapped his fingers. “That’s the one! He managed to get into Delores’s computer and get a list of the vendors and things for the Christmas party. I had him email it to you.”
Steve wandered over to his phone and picked it up. Sure enough there was a very detailed list of everything from decorators and caterers, to budgets for each. It was very well organized.
“Yeah, everything looks good,” he murmured and set his phone back down. He pulled out a vest and suit coat and began putting them on.
“Just one small change,” Mr. Harrington said. “The board wants three of those ‘rent a tree’ deals instead of one big one.”
Steve frowned. “A what now?”
“It’s very eco-friendly,” Mr. Harrington said. “Basically you rent the tree and then give it back for them to be used again the next year, then after they reach a certain height the get planted in the forest.”
“Okay.” Steve wasn’t sure there was anything else he could say to that.
Mr. Harrington blinked at him. “Where are you going so dressed up on a Saturday? You got a meeting I didn’t see on your schedule?”
“I’m going to the funeral, Dad.”
“Whose funeral?” Mr. Harrington asked, his brow wrinkling in confusion, bordering on anger.
Steve paused in pursuit of his nicer dress shoes and turned to him slowly as if he was trying not spoke a predator into attacking.
“Dolores Gardener, your former secretary,” he said just as slow as he turned. Part of him wanted to hold his hands up in a show of submission, but he wasn’t sure how well he would react to that.
Then Mr. Harrington’s face cleared. “Oh, so you drew the short straw. You poor bastard. I already sent them flowers so don’t bother on that front. You mother is demanding your presence at dinner tomorrow. Seven o’clock, sharp. You know how she gets when you’re late.”
He left as loudly as he came, and Steve sat down hard on the bed. He buried his head in his hands. This was going to be a long winter.
~
Steve supposed that the best part about doing the Christmas party was that he was not only given a blank check for all this shit, but that he had been given the time off needed to get it all done.
He didn’t have to show up in the office for anything until the 24th, unless he needed a signature for anything.
He started his hunt for the trees first, mainly because the place the board wanted to use closed up two years ago and they had only picked the first name that came up on a Google search.
He found a rent-a-tree place in nearby Hawkins and decided to take a look.
Steve got into the back seat of his father’s company car and tapped on the roof, to let the drive know he was in and ready to go.
“This seems like quite a distance to get a Christmas tree,” Murray, the driver said, looking at Steve in the rear view mirror.
Steve let out a long sigh. “Yeah, but it’s what Dad wants...”
“And whatever Clint Harrington wants, he gets,” Murray agreed, resigned and pulled into traffic.
They passed in silence as Steve looked up Hawkins. He found out that the town were really big on Christmas each year. Complete with a Christmas village, Santa reigning supreme on a red velvet throne; an ice skating rink set up in the middle of town, though you could ice skate on either of the nearby lakes as well; ice sculpting contests; huge hills for sledding; sleigh rides. Like the whole town transformed into the North Pole from Nov. 1st to Dec. 31st. Two whole months of Christmas.
Steve thought that would have been his own personal hell.
He tossed his phone on the seat next to him and looked back up at Murray. “Oh, I meant to ask, did you get that dog you were looking at?”
Murray’s eyes lit up. “I did.” And began to tell Steve all about the mad cap adventures of Scamp, the corgi.
Finally they were pulling up to the tree farm. In bright festive letters were the words Munson’s Nursery and Tree Farm.
Steve stepped out of the car and looked around. There were so many trees of various types of fir and suddenly he was instantly overwhelmed. He started wandering around and soon he was lost. Not just his direction but what he was supposed to be looking for. He felt like Charles Brown. Like he was going to pick the wrong tree and Christmas was going to be ruin.
His eyes started welling up and he just wanted to go home. He turned around suddenly and bumped into someone who had been coming up behind him.
“Shit!” the man cried out as Steve yelled, “Sorry!”
Then the man’s arms came up to steady him. “Hey are you okay?”
“No,” Steve said with the shake of his head. “I’m supposed to get three trees for the company Christmas party and the person who usually does it, passed away recently and my dad picked me to her place but I’m so overwhelmed!”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa,” the man murmured, rubbing Steve’s arms slowly. “Take a deep breath there, sweetheart. You’re hyperventilating.”
Steve took a deep breath and then another until he could see straight. And in the light falling snow the man in front of him cast an ethereal figure. He had long dark curls and dimpled grin and the biggest brown eyes Steve had even seen.
“There you are,” the man said gently. “I’m Eddie. My uncle runs the nursery, so lets find him and we can talk about what you need and for how long, okay?”
Steve took another deep breath and nodded. “Thank you. I’m Steve.”
“Come follow me, Stevie,” Eddie said cheerfully.
He turned a corner and spotted a volunteer. “Hey, Robbie, did you see which direction Uncle Wayne went?”
She peered around the area and then pointed. “Last I saw him he was in the Douglas firs with Mrs. Click.”
Eddie grimaced. “I wonder if she’ll trying grade him for his ‘knowledge’ of trees.” He shook his head and bid Steve to follow him.
They turned a couple of corners and there was a nice older man with thinning hair and a soft smile talking with what Steve assumed was pickled lemon come to life. Everything about her was pinched and yellow. And angry.
Very, very angry.
“Uncle Wayne!” Eddie said cheerfully. “I have a doosey for ya. This gentleman needs three trees for his work. I’ll take over for you if you want to help him out?”
Wayne smiled that same crinkle-eyed, dimple smile his nephew had and turned to Steve. “First time buy a live tree?”
“First time buying any tree,” Steve admitted dryly. “Not much of a Christmas person really.”
Eddie whipped around. “How can you not love Christmas?” he said, scandalized, holding his heart in his hands. “It’s only the most magical day of the year!”
“Young man, are you going to help me or not?” Mrs. Click hissed. “I’m looking for a Douglas fir and these aren’t Douglas firs!”
Wayne led Steve away as Eddie looked around himself in confusion. “Ma’am, these are Douglas firs. Maybe describe what you’re looking for and we see if we have it...”
Steve turned to Wayne. “Is he going to be okay with her? She reminds me of my mom and not in a good way.”
Wayne threw his head back and laughed. “He’ll be fine. He’ll play dumb until either they figure out what she wants or she goes elsewhere. Happens every year.”
Steve looked behind him, worriedly, but followed Wayne to a nice little hut in the center of the maze of trees. Wayne unlocked the door and sat him down.
“All right,” Wayne said sliding over an info-graphic that had roughly a dozen or so different trees. “We don’t have every tree on that list, but if you like one of the ones that isn’t I can try to find you something close enough.”
Steve pulled the nicely drawn poster closer to him. “Wow, I didn’t realize that there was so many.”
“That’s fair,” Wayne grabbed the poster and slid it off to the side. “So lets narrow it down. What’s the tree going to be for? Inside or outside?”
“Inside,” Steve said quickly. “The ceilings are fifteen feet.”
Wayne nodded in approval. “That’s good that you know that. Most people don’t and try buying a fifteen footer when they only have ten foot ceilings. Is it going to be lit? Decorated?”
Steve nodded. Another answer he knew right away.
“Will there be presents under it?” Wayne asked warmly.
“No,” he said with a small, fragile smile. “It’s for an office.”
Wayne pulled out a piece of paper and started jotting down Steve’s answers. “Right, any other requirements?”
Steve chewed on the skin around his nails. “Do you have the rent-a-tree program? My fa–I mean my boss was hoping to go green this year.”
Wayne’s eyes narrowed at the slip up but said nothing. Instead he pulled out a list from the top drawer of the desk. “These are the trees that are available to be rented out. Most of them are Douglas firs, like the ones where you found me. Though we do have a lovely trio of Fraser firs that are about six feet tall.”
Steve pulled the poster over to him again and then nodded. “I’ll take all three.”
Wayne blinked at him for a moment. “This will be an office, I’m assuming. Do you have house keeping that can water the trees?”
“Yes, sir,” Steve said. “We have other live plants year round and I have already cleared it with the head of housekeeping before coming here.”
Wayne nodded appreciatively. “Sounds like you’ve got everything figured out. Why were you so nervous before?”
Steve ducked his head and blushed. “It’s my first year doing it and I’m not really into the whole holiday. I was worried I’d get it wrong, especially since I really don’t care, but the people I’m buying for do.”
Wayne nodded again and started pulling up the paper work for the trees. “If you can write the name of the company, the address, and the date they need to be delivered by, I’ll ring you up a bill of sale.”
“Great.”
He started filling out the information and was almost done when Eddie walked back in with a wide grin and a check in hand.
“That saucy minx tried to get me to tie the tree to her car before she paid,” he said easily. “Can you believe it?”
Wayne chuckled. “Yes. Does it every year. Would you move our rentable Frasers, our friend here will be taking all three.”
Eddie’s eyebrows wagged. “Friend indeed! I’ll be right on it.” He got this grin on his face as Steve pulled out the checkbook from his briefcase. “You said you were planning your work Christmas do, right?”
Steve handed the check to Wayne who then gave him a receipt in return, then he turned to Eddie. “Well, sure. I’ve got to buy all the decorations and lights and all that jazz. Why do you ask?”
Eddie licked his lips slowly. “You see, I’ve got friends who might be able to help you out with some of that stuff.”
Steve blinked at him for a moment. “What do you get out of it?”
“Let me show you the fun side of Christmas,” Eddie said with an even bigger grin. “You get everything you need, my friends get your company’s business, it’s win/win/win for everyone. What do you say?”
Steve snapped his briefcase shut and stuck out his hand. “I think you’ve got yourself a deal.”
Eddie could barely contain his glee. “Just wait until I tell Robin, she thought for sure you’d say no!”
Steve threw his head back and laughed.

pairing: dad!sonny carisi x reader
summary: your mom and dad argue all the time, and with a little bit of digging, you learn it’s because your dad isn’t being satisfied.
tags: incest, father/child incest, DONT READ IF U DONT LIKE, reader is early twenties so LEGAL AGE, smut, p-in-v sex, clit rubbing, slight fingering, selfish sex (but you like it). Reader has no specified gender but has pussy/clit. Office sex, kissing, your dad and mom don’t get along.
special thanks for @noellawrites for helping me greatly with this fic ❤️
Tumblr media
smut below the cut, minors don’t interact & don’t interact if you’re sensitive and don’t like these sort of fics.
The first thing you heard as you entered the apartment was yelling. Your mom scoffing and dishing out a mouthful of verbal assaults on your dad. When you unlocked the door and stepped in, their argument hushed and then as you walked into the open-plan kitchen, the argument ceased to exist. As if it never happened in the first place.
“Is… everything okay?” and you were met with mutual silence. “Dad?
“It’s nothin’.” Dominick replied curtly and turned on the coffee maker. “How was work?” he asked, quick to change the subject.
You could tell when your father was annoyed—nearing angry, he would clench his jaw and the muscles in his arms (which showed under his shirt, rolled up to the elbow). He always tried to not show you when he was in a mood that wasn’t happy, but he was only human. Your mother, on the other hand, was always in a negative mood—nothing was ever good enough for her.
You sighed and put down your backpack and took a seat on a stool at the island. “It was whatever, I hate working nights.”
Sonny turned to you with a fresh mug of caramel flavoured coffee in his large hands. In exchange, you handed him a paper bag containing a pastry that he tended to eat most mornings. Whether you brought one back or he visited you before he got to the courthouse to start his treacherous day.
“Aw, kid, ya didn’t have to.” He always says that, kissing you on the cheek as he takes it from your hands. Your cheeks grew warm. “Thank you, this’ll definitely keep me goin’—really made my mornin’.” and your dad smiled wide at you, the sides of his eyes crinkling.
Your stomach flipped.
Your mom was silent still, angrily making breakfast. Her movements were enough to show you that she was in a mood, and that you should probably stay out of her way for the rest of the day.
Your dad came into your life when you were ten. Ten years after having a meant-nothing relationship with your mom and only when she was running low on money, she reached out and contacted your father for a little child support money. Sonny was shocked at first, finding out he had a kid, but after taking care of new-born Jesse and having his paternal instincts go haywire for a child that wasn’t his; it was like Christmas came early on a Wednesday evening in Spring.
Sonny asked for visitation and your mom agreed, and the first thing he did was look for two-bedroom apartments. Sonny worked overtime in the precinct just so he could afford the extra room, anything for his little angel. And as you grew, you preferred his apartment more and more. He came home late, but he would always enter your room and make sure you were breathing and safe, always leaving a kiss on your forehead.
Somehow within the last eleven years, your mom moved in with Sonny and it was like a nice little family. Sometimes your mom and dad acted as if they were together, sometimes they didn’t.
And as you entered your early twenties, he still did it. As he transitioned from Detective to Assistant District Attorney, he worked even more hours just to support your little family, your mom stopped working and it was up to your father to provide for all of you—so that’s why you took a stupid, underpaying twenty-four-hour internet cafè just to help out with bills.
Later on in the evening, you sat down next to your dad in the living room. Your mom was already asleep in their shared bedroom, likely lost in a wine-induced dream.
“What was the argument about? Today?”
“S’nothin’, don’t worry ‘bout it. Ain’t your problem.” And he leaned over to kiss you on your forehead, lingering just a few seconds longer.
“B-but— if it’s you and mom, it is my problem. I’m your kid, I’m the one tying you together,” you sigh miserably.
Sonny turns to look at you with a sad expression before cupping your cheek in his big hand. You were closer to your Dad than your mom, because of things like this; he cared so much about you and she showed it.
He examined the pleading look in your eyes, and he knew you wouldn’t drop the subject until you received a satisfactory answer.
“Your mom ‘n I… we really try. I always do what she wants when she wants it, ‘ya know? But she uses me, n’ then when I want some, it’s like she don’t even wanna look at me—“ he sighed.
“Daddy— you don’t deserve that,” you said softly, reaching out to touch his arm, sleeves rolled up to his elbow. Your faces were so close, you were glad that the room was dimly lit just enough so your dad couldn’t see the warm blush rising up your cheeks.
“‘S okay, doll. I got you, you’re all I need,” he says with a smile, leaning over to kiss your forehead before getting up to go to his bedroom. You watched him as he walked off and turned to the bedroom he shared with your mom, closing the door with a soft click behind him.
You woke up early in the morning to the sound of hushed arguing. Their voices vibrated through the walls like before, and you found yourself closing your eyelids and taking a deep exhale.
It took a minute, you sat up in bed and rubbed the sleep from your eyes and took a glance at your alarm clock on the bedside table—it was barely over seven in the morning and they were already at each other’s throats.
Your pajamas were a simple set, a cotton t-shirt that was a size or two up from your own size (that was most likely your father’s) and a pair of black cotton shorts; you’d gone to class in worse attire.
Hesitantly, you opened your bedroom door and took a second before you walked to the kitchen where their voices came from. As you entered, your mother turned away from your Dad and bit her tongue and silently and angrily making breakfast as your dad busied himself pouring coffee into his large travel mug.
“Is everything okay?” you asked. You were met from cold silence from your mom, which was the usual in most times. It took a second for your Dad to turn around and give you a tight lipped smile.
“Everythin’s fine, kiddo,” he said, “how’d you sleep?”
“Fine, I guess.” It was great until I was woken up by your constant arguing, you really wanted to say, but you held your tongue and decided to be polite—just like how he raised you to be. Always keep the negative thoughts to yourself.
“I gotta go to work,” he said curtly and kissed your forehead, as he always did.
“Can I come with you?” You asked as he rounded the island to pick up his dark red briefcase. “I dunno, dunno if SVU will need me to do some undercover stuff.”
“Undercover stuff,” your mom tutted and angrily whisked eggs in the pan. “You’re an ADA, you don’t go undercover.”
Sonny shared a glance with you before your mom started again, “there you go, talking about work. Is it because Olivia is there?”
Your mom, Amanda, couldn’t be anymore wrong.
Sonny turns and walks towards the door without saying a word, and you follow.
When you reach the door, you whisper, “can I come with you? Please?”
You knew that if you had your only day off and spent it in the apartment with your mom, she would start on you next—and you really didn’t want to do that.
Your dad takes one last glance at your mom and sighs, ushering you out the door beside him. “Sure, kid. C’mon.” And he ushered you to put on your sneakers and to take your jacket and backpack.
——-
When you reach the eighth floor, Sonny clears a stack of file folders off a spot on his couch for you, giving you a smile as he pats the seat.
“Dad, are you sure there isn’t anything I can do? I hate seeing you and mom arguing like this,” you sigh, bringing up your knees to rest your chin on, your arms wrapping around your calves.
“Baby,” Sonny smiles, “I appreciate your concern but it ain’t somethin’ you can help me with.”
You look at him as he takes a seat in his swivel-chair, and that feeling in your stomach returns. Butterflies, you remember your mom telling you when you were younger, that you’d get butterflies when you liked someone.
Bile rose in your throat with shame.
“You know, I can help with whatever it is. I’m… y’know, older. I’m not little anymore, I’m big.”
Sonny chuckled, smile lines reaching his eyes. “Oh yeah? You’re a big kid?”
“Yup,” you say defiantly, crossing your arms. You notice the twinkle of curiosity in his eye, curious at just how grown up you’ve really become.
“Maybe you’re right.” He smiles at you. In his eyes, you will always be his little angel. No matter how old you get.
Sonny took a second to think, and then he set down his pen. It was a present from Mr. Barba—you had met him when you were younger, often being plopped in his office when your mom wanted to go out for brunch with her friends and your dad worked as a Detective.
“Let me ask ya somethin’, kiddo. Father t’child.” He clears his throat, “N’ you don’t need’a answer, s’totally within your right not to.”
You looked at him, waiting for his question.
“You ever had sex before?”
It was a personal question. You had just turned the legal age to drink alcohol and you barely did that. Sex was something you had only ever done once, and it wasn’t as pleasant as some of the videos you’ve seen.
“Once,” you couldn’t meet his eyes. “It wasn’t good,” you tell him honestly.
“Yeah? Tell me ‘bout that.” And he flicked his file shut and leaned forward on his elbows on his desk. His attention was on you, fully.
“He just… touched me, really. And then he just put it in me and finished.” You put your hands on your bare knees out of nervousness.
“You didn’t… ?”
You shook your head, no. In all the videos you’ve seen, both participants orgasmed and they made it look so good, like it felt amazing. You told him about how it started, how he kissed you and put his hand down your pants and how it all felt so rushed, and when it came to the actual sex; all you had felt a discomfort as the guy who was on top of you pushed inside you and you felt pain, and it rarely felt good.
And your Dad scoffed. “Don’t let boys like that d’that to ya, ain’t right.”
“But I… “ you swallowed, “… maybe I could help you?”
Sonny frowned, confused. “Help me? What do you mean?”
“You could have sex with me.”
Your bold statement was enough to have his eyebrows jump to the top of his forehead, and his mouth hang open slightly in shock. He stood and rounded his desk, closing his open door and flicking the lock, then closing his blinds. “Doll, you can’t say that in the courthouse.”
“I’m sorry—“
“S’fine, just… I’m ya dad,” he started and leaned against the table before you. “Shouldn’t be thinkin’ ‘bout me like that, it’s not right.”
He shamed you into silence, and your skin flushed with embarrassment.
Never in his life did he ever think he would fuck you. Always so keen on raising you to be the smart, level-headed kid you could be. He spent his life’s work going to work to put men away doing exactly what he was about to do.
He put his head in his hands and rubbed his face. Then after a beat, he took his hands off his face and looked at you.
“Doll— I’m gonna help ya out too, okay? Make my lil’ angel feel good. Don’t want ya to be an inexperienced adult,” he says carefully, leaning off from his table and stepping towards you.
“Are you sure? I-I mean, you and mom are having problems and—“
“Stop talking ‘bout ya mom,” he says before capturing your lips in a mesmerizing kiss. Your lips tingle with the force of his lips on yours, his hand coming to cup the back of your head. You kissed him back when he didn’t pull back, and he licked into your mouth and your sigh came out along with a moan.
You felt him smile into the kiss. “Does kissin’ me feel good?”
You swallowed, your eyes shaky as you kept your eyes on your dad. He was so close to you, leaning over you and your lips still touching. “It… it’s better than my other kisses.”
Sonny cocked his head and his eyes glanced down to your black cotton shorts, biting his lip at the lewd thoughts running through his head. He allowed his fingers to trace the band of your shorts and inch them down just a bit. “‘M just more… experienced, that’s what ya need.”
“y—you?”
And that was exactly right. That’s what you needed. Your Daddy.
He kissed you again, but this time it was to take his time and to memorise your taste, to learn the sounds you made when something felt good—and you made these little high pitched sounds—squeaks—when he kissed you harder, pushing you against the back of the leather couch.
He broke the kiss temporarily to place both of his large hands on your hips. “Ain’t gonna make ya do somethin’ ya don’t want to, baby,”
Sonny knew the risks, even as lust clouded his brain. Engaging in incest in the courthouse with his own child was one risk, but ruining your relationship with him was another. He would hate to ruin things with his only child; to have to run back to Amanda and her fatherless children just to play ‘happy family’ again.
“I—I want it,” you whimpered, “I— I want to do… this with you.” and you meant it. Your feelings for your Dad had only grown so much more since he put his lips on yours and kissed you properly.
Sonny groaned and bit his lip, his cock swelling. “Say it again, baby.” his voice was low, enough to be a growl.
Your body shook with adrenaline and nervousness. You held your breath as his big, warm hands ghosted over your soft, smooth skin.
Your Dad slipped his fingertips into the band of your shorts and pulled down your little lounge shorts the rest of the way, pulling them over your sneakers and letting them drop to the floor. The only thing between you two was your flimsy underwear, and he could see a very clear wet spot dampening the fabric.
“Haven’t seen that in a while,” he said and the tip of his finger prodded the damp patch. He didn’t miss your gasp, how your hips jutted upwards in need and selfish want. If he had his way he would take his time. Sink to his knees, shove his mouth in your pussy and taste his little kiddo’s juices.
Your Dad saw your nervous expression, and it took him until only then to realise that this would be the first proper sex experience you would have (with your own father, at that, it’s probably making you feel under pressure to do good.)
“Hey… “ he cupped your burning cheek, “s’okay… d’you wanna see mine first? just t’make you feel better?”
You nodded carefully, soon enough leaning into the palm of his hand. He tapped your cheek before he took his hand and put it to his belt, undoing the buckle and pulling it through the hoops and letting it drop to the floor beside your cotton pyjama shorts. His long, deft fingers went to his fly and unzipped it, then he pulled out his cock out from inside his dress pants. Your eyes were glued to the large appendage and you swallowed your saliva in nervousness.
Sure, you had only seen one penis before, but it was tiny, shriveled— nothing like your dad’s long, curved cock. It was not hard enough to stay up, flaccid only just enough that it dangled between his thighs.
“You okay?” He asked, and you nodded again; “uh huh,” and you couldn’t find the strength to take your eyes off him.
His blue eyes bore into yours as his fingers nudged your underwear, a similar situation to his removal of your shorts.
“This okay, doll?” he asked. Once you began to nod, he slid your undies all the way down. The cool air of your dad’s office hit your sensitive little pussy and you shivered, earning a smile from your dad.
“Don’t worry, doll. S’cold, same thing happens to me,” he gestures, and you look down right at your own dad’s hard cock.
“Can—can I touch it?” You asked. It was hard to believe that you were made from that, that at one point just over twenty years ago, you had come out of him and it was just staring right back at you.
“Sure.” Sonny smiled, and he took your hand and helped you wrap your small fingers around him in a light grip. The sudden pressure alone was enough to make him grumble deep in his chest.
In the videos you had seen on the internet, you knew how to copy hand movements—so you moved your hand up and down his cock, slowly, testing the waters. You didn’t see it, but the man who made you; his head tipped backward at the feeling of your hand squeezing his cock.
“does it—does this feel good?”
“Kid, you got no fuckin’ idea.” He groans and he looks down at you, cock barely an inch away from your innocent face. “N’ expert,” he praises.
After a while, his need to be inside you grew by each passing second. Your pussy was bare on the leather, making a small clear puddle of your arousal on the worn leather of his couch.
“S’enough, baby.” and he took your hand off his hard cock, no longer any sort of flaccid, instead as hard as he’s been in years.
You moved yourself so you were leaning back, and he followed you and pulled your hips down—your legs and ass dangling off the couch and his arms supporting you. “Makin’ me fuckin’ crazy, baby, gonna fuck you deep right here.”
You let out a breathy laugh that was cut short as he forced his tongue in your mouth; working overtime as his hand made its way to your wet pussy and rubbed the seam with his fingers. Gasping into his mouth, moaning lightly (aware of your noise, knowing there were people actually doing their job in the courthouse) as his long fingers stimulated your clit and your little wet hole.
“Makin’ me do things a Daddy shouldn’t do,” he growled, “you eva’ touch yourself like this? ‘magining your Dad gettin’ you ready for his cock? huh? little baby?”
You never once imagined what his dirty talk would be like, so filthy in your ear. But he was right, there had been a few times you’ve imagined him touching you late at night. Disgusting thoughts that clouded your mind in the devil's hour.
He was so quick but gentle, giving you attentive kisses and soothing your nerves as he prepared you to take your dad’s cock.
You whined when you felt his hard cock bump against your inner thigh, eyebrows furrowing. His fingers on your clit felt good and his tongue invading your mouth made you drool.
Sonny peeked down to where his erect cock was positioned between your legs. For a single second, he hesitated—it was as if his mind came back to him.
He can’t do this, it isn’t right—he’s your father. The tip of his cock leaked a stray tear of pre-cum and his cock throbbed in his grip. Your pussy was right there, barely an inch away from pushing inside your tight little hole, and he knew the minute he pushed inside you, he would never be able to stop.
Already imagining the next time he’ll get to fuck you. Maybe later on in the night, sneaking into your room while your mom slept and clamping a hand over your mouth while he finally got to taste your pussy.
His thoughts left him the second they rushed through his mind, and he pushed his hips forward and the tip of his cock notched your wet hole and his fingers stopped rubbing you, settling on a slow rhythm.
Your arm snaked around his neck and pulled him impossibly close to you as he pushed his cock inside you. Your mouth was tight against the fabric of his dress shirt, eyes squeezing shut as the tip of him breached you.
There was still an inch of him hidden beneath his slacks, the cons of having a quickie in his office is that he couldn’t push the entirety of himself inside you. He was fully clothed in a three piece suit he couldn’t just remove very easily.
Your own father’s cock inside you, the same cock that made you was inside you. And that kept running through your mind.
But for the most part, he was fully inside you. And your thighs trembled and shook at the fact your Dad was inside you.
“S’okay… s’okay—“ Sonny choked as he turned his head so he could mumble against the side of your lips. “Just hold onto daddy.”
And you did, your little fingers digging into his shoulder blade as he gave an experimental light thrust of his hips and he groaned, it came deep from his throat and his hand tight on your thigh spread your leg wider as he fucked his cock into you, finding his rhythm inside you.
“Takin’ ya dad’s cock so fuckin’ well.”
Your pussy clenched on him at his words. Reminding you that he wasn’t some guy from work—that you were falling apart on your dad’s cock.
“J—Jesus, d—dad,” you moaned and bit onto his shirt for some sort of stability. His cock was pumping inside you and your bare thighs were met with the soft fabric of his dress pants, muffling what would’ve been harsh, wet slaps of flesh meeting in a selfish hurry. “F—feels so good.”
If you were worried about his co-workers hearing what was happening inside his office before, you definitely weren’t now. Muffling your moans in his shoulder, squeezing your eyes shut as the pressure in your pussy built and built with the faint pain of the tip of his cock thumping against your cervix.
“D—dad,” you gasped, “f—fuck, I’m—o—oh my g—god, it—“
Sonny pressed his forehead against yours once more, murmuring against your lips, “gonna cum, baby? Cummin’ already on ya daddy’s cock?”
He could tell by with how your fingers dug into his shoulders, how he could feel the drool you had left behind on his chest and with how fucking tight your pussy was gripping him; getting tighter by the second, almost trying to push his cock out of you.
His thumb worked harder on your hard clit, pressing down and circling in harder circles. Where his hand was, your pussy was so wet, dripping onto the couch like a burst pipe and covering his dress pants (and he thanked Barba for telling him to always keep a spare suit in his office, in case of emergencies. And fucking his own flesh and blood child to oblivion and back was one of them.)
“D—dad—daddy—dad,” you babbled against his soft lips, “can I—p—please?”
Oh, how sweet. You asked permission, always a polite kid. He wonders who taught you that—your manners, that is, and it was him. Your mom would’ve raised you to be a bully if he didn’t get there when he did.
His cock fucked harder into you and as a result it had the top of your head hitting the soft cushion and your moans grew louder but were still muffled into his shoulder.
“C’mon, baby, please fuckin’ cum—need’a feel it, honey, let ya dad feel ya cum—“
Sonny’s words spurred you on, his thumb rubbing hard circles on your clit and his cock pounding into the very end of you was just enough to set you over and you came all over his cock with a muffled squeal, eyes clenched painfully shut and your arms pulled him impossibly closer to you. Your pussy tightened almost painfully on his cock and the pressure was just enough to push him out, but his greedy cock fought against it and and pushed and fucked you through your first orgasm by a cock.
Little squirts of liquid left your pussy and splattered on his dress pants, not enough to turn heads if anyone walked in, but enough to make your Dad moan like a whore.
“That’s it—what a good fuckin’ kid, doin’ as you’re told—makin’ me feel so good.”
You weren’t your mother—you were his perfect little angel that he made himself, in his image. And that alone was enough to convince himself not to pull out—if there were consequences of his actions, he’d allow those consequences with open arms.
Not even a second later, you felt his cock pump inside you harder and faster—then you felt the vibration of his deep, throaty groan against you and felt the warm spurts of his pent up cum inside you.
“Daddy,” you whimpered.
“That felt fuckin’ good,” he groaned and tipped his forehead onto your shoulder, his thrusts slowing as he rode out his orgasm inside you.
He felt better than he had in a long time. He just now realised he didn’t need your mother, he never did. As long as he had you, he had an obedient little kiddo to take their daddy’s big cock. He knew you wouldn’t miss an opportunity to show your dad how grown up you really were.
It took him a minute to pull out of you, your pussy gripping him and milking him for everything he has and he didn’t want to leave the hot, wet pussy that he took part in making. Fuck, that thought alone was enough to give a hard twitch into his softening cock. But when he did, his cum spilled out with him and onto the already wet leather of the couch.
“Look’a that, baby, look how much you milked outta me—greedy little thing,” and his hand smoothed over your thigh to insert a finger into your sore and spent pussy, plugging his cum back inside you. Your hole clenching around him, even more so when his thumb takes place back on your oversensitive clit.
“D—dad,” you gasped and put your hand on his wrist. “That—“
“‘Know what it is, honey,” and he leaned over to grab your underwear and slid them back up your legs, back where they once were before he decided to fuck you in his office of law. Patting your now clothed pussy, he stood on shaky legs and tucked himself away.
He leaned back down to press his lips to yours, “done me real proud, kiddo, think you deserve a nice nap, huh?” he spoke as he nuzzled his nose with your own and you smiled, lazily biting your bottom lip.
“Still feels like you’re inside,” you say in a whisper.
“Means I fucked ya too good,” and he kisses your nose and then your lips—as if it was second nature. “Now get some sleep, I’ll wake ya for lunch.”
—-
At the dinner table that night, the tension was thick. Your dad had slaved away on the stove making a chicken dish, (with your ‘help’, after the events of earlier in the day, you became so clingy, wanting to be beside him if he couldn’t be inside you) but your mom wanted steak and that was enough for her to give him disrespectful comments on how it tasted, how she preferred her best friends husband’s steak casserole compared to Sonny’s Italian ‘chicken-thing’.
His hand settled on your thigh beneath the table, Your hand was over his, entangling your fingers together.

My Hero Academia AU: Learn to Play
Part 1.
Read right to left.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Iida:  Stop this at once! We have been gifted delicious watermelons for our consumption! They are not to be used in pointless shows of brute strength! Think of the waste—
Bakugou:
Die, melon!
Iida ‘bout to lose a finger back there.
Ambush Simulation comic of Spinner and Dabi being baffled by teenage behavior, which is concrete evidence that I insist on making things hard for myself because out of the LoV, the two characters that are the biggest pain in the ass to draw are Dabi and Spinner.
Dabi: The staples and the scarring.
Spinner: The scales, the non-human facial features, and the complicated costume.
This is part one of I don’t know how many yet.
...
Because Kaminari would eat a strange mushroom first and ask questions later.
Spinner: This brat got into the most prestigious hero program in the country. Possibly one of the most prestigious in the world.
Also Spinner: *to Kaminari* Kid. I hope you know that no matter how popular you become, no matter how successful you are, even if you surpass All Might himself...to me, you're still gonna be that dumbass kid who ate a strange mushroom for no particular reason.
...
Just to be clear, Spinner is not calling Dabi a pansy for wearing a skirt. He's calling him a pansy over the whole set-up, and it's meant affectionately. Same as Dabi calling Spinner a mutant freak. Platonic but affectionately, and if anybody outside their group said something like that, they'd be met with a resolute, "The fuck you just say about my pal?!"
If you saw my Christmas post, you'll know that Ambush Sim Touya is headcanoned to be demi-masculine. Specifically here, he is wearing practical clothing for the weather because it’s hot and not giving a damn what anyone has to say about it. Where did he get the skirt from? He could have borrowed it from any number of people, but where I'm leaning is it's Rei's.
Because appropriating his mother's clothing after she failed him in so many ways is a special kind of petty.
Also for clarity, Momo only made the umbrella. The rest is his own supplies.

it was as though chris’s eyes were permanently glued to y/n’s figure across the ballroom, which was unfortunate for the girl currently vying for his attention. she was pretty, he could admit that, and truthfully she seemed genuinely sweet. goodness knows his brothers would scold him for ignoring her the way he was, but he couldn’t help it… he was a taken man.
not that anybody knew that. his parents would probably drop dead on their thrones if they found out one of their sons was dating a commoner. even if it was y/n, who’d grown up practically joint at his hip— her mother was the queen’s favorite florist, and her father the royal shoemaker (for many months after he’d stopped growing, chris continued to request new boots because his old ones “no longer fit”). they adored her, but she was expected to know her place, and chris his.
so they shared lingering glances across the busy banquet hall. sometimes, she sent a wink his way, maybe a flutter of her lashes. he’d respond with a quirk of his lips, and a look that she knew meant “later.” but later felt like forever away. he wanted to hold her now, in that dress that hugged her in all the right places, and kiss her painted lips. he wanted to drown in her perfume, the expensive one that he bought her for her birthday last year. she only wore it on special occasions, even though he repeatedly told her he would just buy her another one when it ran out. she was stubborn.
matt noticed his brother’s distracted stare, apologizing to the duchess on his arm as he pulled him away from her.
“hey,” he said, clapping his brother on the shoulder when they reached a secluded corner, “go take a walk, man.”
“what are you talkin‘ about, dude?”
the older prince sighed, rubbing his eye as he hesitated a bit (a habit his mother has given up on getting him to stop). “i know you want her… but you gotta be realistic. starin‘ at her like a stray puppy isn’t gonna help, so just go clear your head or somethin‘ and go back to talkin‘ to the duchess. and act like she’s actually there this time, okay?”
chris didn’t even have the chance to process matt’s words before he was walking back to his date. matt knew he liked y/n? maybe he’d been less slick than he thought. at any rate, he was right— chris could use a break from this ball. he definitely didn’t want to go back to talking to the duchess.
⁺⁎˚
it wasn’t long before the prince found himself in a long hallway, many doors down from any prying eyes. what was meant to be a relaxing moment of peace and quiet backfired due to his usual overthinking. he paced up and down the hall as his thoughts barreled through his mind at warp speed.
god! all he wanted was y/n. publicly. shamelessly. he wanted everyone to see her for who she was, not for her blood status. so what if she wasn’t royal? does that make a person unworthy of love? would he really have to do more of this— attending these ridiculous parties, meeting eligible noblewomen who bore him halfway into his grave, pretending to listen as they ramble on about their latest trip into the countryside? start dating one? propose? commit to a lifetime in an unhappy marriage, longing for somebody else?
lacing his fingers behind his neck, he leaned back into his palms. deep inhale through the nose. exhale through the mouth. repeat. repeat. repeat.
when chris opened his eyes again, his gaze fell upon a small plant hung at the base of the high sconce in front of him. white berries, round green leaves… mistletoe? he glanced down the hallway and noticed one strung upon each light fixture, smiling to himself at the mental image of their head maid, tiny woman that she was, securing them in place on her toetips.
and then the idea struck him.
⁺⁎˚
“chris!” y/n laughed, a warmth blooming in his chest at the sound, “where are we going?”
his fingers squeezed hers tighter as he shot her a mischievous grin over his shoulder, not letting up on his pace. anyone passing by would think they were in some kind of emergency, the way he was pulling her through the castle.
“jus‘ trust me, kid,” he assured her. “you’re gonna like it.”
y/n knew better than to pry. but when they arrived at their destination, it’s safe to say she was a bit confused. she turned to look at him quizzically, leaning back against the wall on her palms.
“it’s… a hallway.”
chris smiled, a playful glint in his eye. he took a step forward. “mhm.”
“don’t get me wrong, it’s a lovely hallway. i like the wallpaper.”
“that’s nice, baby,” he mused as he stalked closer to her, his hands landing on her hips, sliding up to her waist and squeezing the flesh there through the fabric of her dress. she couldn’t help but notice his gaze fixated on her lips.
“it’s just that i was about to grab a slice of the yule log, and—”
the girl’s sentence stopped short in a gasp as chris pushed her suddenly flush against the wall. he inched closer and closer to her face, until their lips were just barely brushing, teasing her. too anxious to move, she felt her eyes slip shut, anticipating the moment he’d bridge the gap between them.
but it never came. instead, she was startled to feel his thumb and forefinger trap her jaw gently in their grasp, ever so carefully tilting her head up at the dim light above them.
“open your eyes f’me, y/n,” chris whispered lowly in her ear. “what d’you see?”
it only took a second to adjust to the light before she realized. “chris…,” her palms found purchase on the prince’s chest, his heartbeat faint and his breathing even beneath his suit jacket. she was comforted by the feeling. “someone might see.”
a flicker of something unrecognizable flashed across his features before he spoke again, “i don’t care. please, let me.”
“you could get in so much trouble. you’re already pushing your luck, inviting a peasant to a ball. what would your parents think?”
chris’s brow furrowed as he traced his fingertips along her exposed collarbone. “you’re not a peasant. everyone gets a plus one, there’s no rule about who you can or can’t invite. my parents know you, and they love you. they know you’re my best friend, ’s not suspicious, i promise.”
y/n wasn’t quite convinced. they’d been so careful… was it really worth the risk?
“no one ever comes down here,” he tried again. “please. let me kiss you. let me kiss you, baby.”
her shy smile was all the confirmation he needed before his lips were on hers, soft but hungry, as though he physically couldn’t hold back any longer. his left arm wrapped around her waist as his right snaked up to hold the back of her head, flexing his muscles to pull her in as close as possible.
“angel,” he sighed against her, out of breath but going in for more, “god, you’re an angel.”
a stifled while fell from her lips involuntarily, and she had to pull away before things escalated. chris wouldn’t let her get far, though, resting his forehead against hers as they caught their breath together.
“thank you,” he whispered, savoring the moment he knew had to end soon. “dunno what i would’ve done if i had to wait any longer. i might’ve kidnapped you.”
she giggled, a melody to chris’s ears. “you kinda did, your highness.”
chris pinched her arm at the title, earning a small yelp in return.
“oh, by the way… i think matt might be onto us.”

Hybrid Cafe Yans
A list of the hybrid yans since it's been a minute-. The first name is their real name and the second is the nicknames reader has given them. The only exclusions are Saber and Wistera who haven't been nicknamed yet, and Doc and Trick who have never been official named
Saber [he/him] - Model/Influencer Catboy who got saved from the ran by Cafe reader on their first shift. Very snobby and feels entitled to most if not all of reader's time being their first customer
Clyde/Spot [he/him] - A lonely delivery rabbit. Shy and Sweet. Bounced around in the foster care system as a child and has severe abandonment issues steaming from it which later on resulted in him dying his fur white to be more appealing to others. His nickname comes from Reader finding a spot on his ear since it had been a while since his last dye job
Shanna/Bo [She/Her] - Reader's sheep girl coworker. Extremely clumsy and timid, but also plays up the act to lean on reader's shoulder. The daughter of a local club owner who is still coming to terms with her recent coming out.
Pauline/Belle [She/Her] - The ex head chef at the cafe. A hot headed cow woman with a soft spot for reader who's what keeps her crawling back to the city from her cozy new life on her farm
Robbie/Honey [They/Them] - A bumble bee who as their name implies is sweet as can be..... on the surface. Robbie is one of if not the most willing to beat others into submission for Reader. Their mother is the head of a massive company who gifted them the entire apartment complex they live in. Later moves Reader into one of them who pays next to nothing for rent
Trick [They/Them] - A tired Crow enjoying early retirement/hiatus from their work. Greatly enjoys relaxing with a cup of tea and gifting reader presents from the various regions they've traveled to over the years. Works as a teacher as a secondary occupation which slowly drains them as it reminds them of the empty nest they have at home
Asher/Prince [he/him] - Hyperactive Hyena boy ready and willing to throw hands for reader. Their kindness helped him get over his fear of humans after years of bullying for having a human parent and a shorter stature because of it, and being wrongfully arrested when attacked by bullies and choosing to fight back
Wisteria [She/Her] - Plant woman of unknown origin. Owns a flower shop not too far from the cafe and supplies it with bouquets for their displays which she uses to eavesdrop on reader. Soft spoken and formal
Doc [They/it] - Leech Hybrid med student. Extremely giggly and carefree. Always tries to give Reader check ups which certainly aren't ploys to obtain vials of their sweet, sweet blood. Has difficults walking on land and wears leg braces for the weak muscles in their legs
Scout/Bear [he/him] - Wolf hybrid. Doesn't like to talk much about himself, but lived with his grandmothers and dogs in the wilderness before they all passed away. Stoic and grouchy, but weak to soft praise and touches
The manager - A deer hybrid mentioned briefly in the Christmas special. Not much to them now, but I'd really like to use them eventually

Christmas movie au Advent Calendar 🎄
Day Nine: 🍪Baking🍪
Christmas special tag list: @bunnymermaidsblog @deadlycupid @dustylovelyrun @ladywithalamp @sleepy-night-child @theguywithnonickname
Talon couldn’t remember the last time he ever baked.
He must’ve been a kid back then, helping his mother and sister with Christmas preparations. He hadn’t done that in a long time.
He was no talent in the kitchen, but as he told Aiden and Maya, the two had told him not to worry about it.
“Making cookies is easy, everyone can do it.”
Besides, they said, he had two experts with him.
“Baking is literally part of my job,” Maya reminded him. “And Aiden here has been helping me and my mother with making the cookies for the Christmas market ever since we were children.”
When Halea would find out that Talon was helping to bake cookies, she’d probably fall off her chair laughing.
She was absolutely convinced that her friend could set fire to cereal and she had more than one reason to believe that.
Luckily he wasn’t as much of a disastrous baker as he had anticipated.
He would lie if he said he wasn’t at least a little daunted when he was sat in front of a massive bowl and told to make a portion of dough all by himself, cause apparently they needed so much of it that that one bowl - or even two - won’t do.
But beside the fact that the flour he dumped into the bowl left behind a cloud of dust that made him cough and covered half his face, which resulted in Aiden clinging to Maya in laughter, it all went rather smoothly.
Okay, maybe Talon did throw some flour at Aiden about laughing at him and maybe that did result in a little flour battle that Maya later scolded them for, even if it was in a fond tone that gave away she wasn’t actually mad.
Nearly the whole countertop was covered in rolled out Christmas cookie dough.
As they started to cut out the dough in the form of stars and Christmas trees Talon was sure that they could feed the whole town plus reindeer population with the amount of cookies they were making.
“That’s the goal,” Aiden said laughing, when Talon voiced his thought to the other two. “They’ll be sold at the Christmas market after all. You’d be surprised how fast these cookies are gone.”
They chatted about this and that while they cut out the cookies and Talon had to admit to himself that he indeed had fun, something he didn’t expect.
Though he should’ve guessed, because with Aiden everything turned out to be more fun than he expected it to.
He was just fun to be around with his jokes and stories and the occasional friendly touches that never failed to make Talon’s heart react to it - and it made Talon feel content.
In fact, he hasn’t felt as good, as happy in a long while (if you left out the big elephant in the room, that was).
After the first few batches were in the oven. Maya excused herself because of an appointment she apparently forgot about.
“I’ll be back in an hour or so,” she had told them. “Remember to melt the chocolate for the topping, the first load should be done in a while. And Talon, make sure the chocolate actually ends up on the cookies and not in Aiden’s stomach instead.”
With that last warning she was gone.
Aiden pouted. “Killjoy.”
Talon laughed. “Come on, let’s do what she told us. Maybe I’ll let you have some of the chocolate if you tell me how we’ll best get it to melt.”
Now it was Aiden who laughed. “Deal.”
The batches were done right on time as they finished melting the chocolate.
They got them out of the oven, put in the next few batches and once the cookies had cooled down a little, began to decorate them with the chocolate and all kinds of other stuff.
As most of the melted chocolate was spread out on the cookies, Aiden took a spoon and began to scrape up the rest that was still in the bowl.
As he found Talon looking at him, he chuckled. “What? You said I could have some of the chocolate.”
He offered Talon the spoon full of chocolate. “Or do you want some, too?”
Instead of answering, Talon simply leaned forward and took the offered spoon into his mouth. Aiden’s eyes widened in surprise, but he held the eye contact Talon maintained throughout it all (in strange rush of confidence) until Talon leaned back into his seat again.
“Thanks,” he said with a grin on his face. “That tasted good.”
Aiden swallowed, then he nodded. Loading the spoon with chocolate once again, he lifted it to his own lips this time, not at all seeming to mind that this was the same spoon Talon had in his mouth seconds ago.
Talon couldn’t stop his eyes from staring down at Aiden’s mouth as he licked the spoon clean.
Oh, he was so gone for this boy, who was he even trying to kid.
Aiden’s gaze flickered up to Talon watching him and for a moment they only stared at each other, spoon and chocolate and everything else around them forgotten.
Talon could swear Aiden was leaning forward slowly and he was pretty sure he did the same when suddenly the ringing of the oven startled the two and the moment was over.
“I’ll get the cookies,” Aiden said, clearing his throat.
Was he blushing or did Talon only project his own bashfulness onto him?
Would they have kissed if the oven didn’t disturb them?
Or did he maybe inhale too much flour?
But ever since that moment there was a certain tension in the room and Talon was almost glad when Maya came back and he wasn’t alone with Aiden anymore.
He suspected that Maya could feel it, too.
When Talon excused himself later, claiming that he had an important call to make, she let him go without much complaint, thanking him for his help.
And Aiden, too, didn’t try to get him to stay.
Maybe he was just as shaken about their almost-kiss or whatever you would call the moment they shared as he was.
Talon left, taking the scarf with him despite his better judgment. He had barely sat a foot into his room when he already dialed Halea’s number.
“Halea, I don’t know how long I can take this anymore.”

Trent Alexander - Arnold (Liverpool) - Interrupted
Day 20 of Christmas
Prompt: joint Christmas
25 Days Of Christmas
Tumblr media
This was a mistake. All of this was a mistake. You see, back in November, Y/n and Trent made the decision to bring their families together for Christmas, so they didn't have to slend it apart again. They were determined to make this day special, despite the usual chaos that family gatherings entailed. On Christmas Eve, they spent the entire day shopping for food, ensuring they had enough to go around. They were tight for time, and Trent being stopped for photos every few minutes was nlt helping. He was a whirlwind of activity, dashing from shop to shop, while Y/n tried to keep up, chuckling at his determination. "We need to make this perfect." He insisted, grinning as he stacked boxes of decorations. "My mum will have a fit if she thinks we haven’t cleaned the house properly."
"Don’t worry, we’ll get it done." Y/n reassured him, grabbing some bread and chucking it into the trolley. "I don't know how you can be so calm. Your parents are coming over too, you know." Y/n nodded. "Believe me, I know. They've been keeping me updated on their whereabouts."
When they returned home, the couple dove into cleaning the house, ensuring everything was perfect. "Why dpes it feel like we’re hosting a royal banquet?" Y/n laughed as she hoovered the carpets. Trent smirked, wiping a bit of sweat from his brow. "Because we basically are! I mean, who else can say they’re hosting two families at once?"
Just as they were finishing up, the doorbell rang, much earlier than expected. They exchanged wide-eyed glances, and Y/n hurried to open the door. "Great! Just what we needed." Trent muttered, giving her a playful nudge as they rushed to the door. He opened it to reveal his mum, beaming brightly, followed closely by Y/n's parents. "Surprise!" Trent’s mum exclaimed, stepping inside with a basket of baked goods. "I brought some celebrtions, and quality streets and-"
"Thanks, Mum!" Trent replied, his face warming with embarrassment as he took in the state of their home. Y/n looked behind them to see her parents carrying a suitcase. Oh boy, this was a bad idea. As the families poured in, the house quickly filled with chaos. It was much louder than they liked, usually not shouting or speaking over one another, but what did they expect when they invited both families?
"Oh, I can help with the cleaning." Trent's mother offered, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. Y/n chuckled, watching Trent’s face turn crimson. “Uh, no, really! We’ve got it covered—” But before she could finish her sentence, Y/N’s mum chimed in. "Oh, I’ll help too! You two have been working all day, no doubt." Y/n's mum said taking the hoover from her. "Perfect." Trent said, trying to hide his mortification as the two mothers started organizing the kitchen.
The house soon transformed into a hub of activity. The kitchen was crowded with women chopping vegetables and preparing dishes, while children dashed around excitedly, their laughter ringing through the air. In the games room, the men gathered around the pool table, discussing strategy as they prepared for a few friendly games. As Y/n stirred a pot on the stove, Trent's mum leaned in, a nostalgic smile on her face. "Did I ever tell you about the time Trent used to want to lick the spoon after we baked Christmas biscuits?"
Y/n raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "No, you haven’t. Tell me more!" Y/n chuckled. "Every single time we baked, he’d try to sneak a lick! Such a cheeky boy." She laughed, shaking her head. Just then, the kitchen door swung open, and Trent stepped in, sporting a new scarlet jumper. With a mischievous grin, he grabbed the empty spoon from the bowl and scooped any excess icing left. "This is the best part." He declared, popping the spoon into his mouth. "Nothing goes to waste in this house." He said, smirking at Y/n and his mother. Y/n chuckled, shaking her head at him. "You never change, do you?"
Later that evening, after dinner had settled and the laughter of family echoed throughout the house, Y/n finally had a moment to breathe. She excused herself and headed to their en-suite bathroom for a long-awaited shower. As the warm water cascaded over her, she felt the tension of the day melt away. Just as she was settling into relaxation, Trent stepped in, a playful glint in his eyes. "Mind if I join?"
"Not at all." She replied, smiling as she turned to face him. "I’ll wash your hair for you. Just relax." He said, gently taking the shampoo from her hand. As he massaged her scalp, she closed her eyes, enjoying the sensation. "Thank you." She whispered, leaning back against him. It felt so nice to finally be alone after the whirlwind of the day. "Anything for you." He murmured back, and their lips met softly, the kiss quickly growing deeper and more passionate. The moment grew more intimate, steam filling the bathroom as their kisses deepened, hearts racing. Trent's hands roamed her body as he nipped and kissed the skin of her neck, quirt moans leaving Y/n's mouth.
Just as they were lost in each other, a knock echoed through the door, breaking the spell. "Trent, where do you keep your towels? I need to shower!" His mum called out, making Trent pull her closer in case she decided to come in. Y/n couldn’t help but burst out laughing, while Trent groaned, burying his face in the crook of her neck. Of all the times. He muttered, shaking his head. "I forgot we’re not quite alone yet." Y/n giggled, trying to stifle her laughter. Trent opened the door slightly. "They’re in the cupboard next to the sink! Just, uh… give me a minute and I'll get you one!"
As his mum left, Y/n leaned against him, both of them chuckling at the sudden intrusion. "Well, that was unexpected." She said, looking up at him with playful eyes. Trent smirked, pulling her in for another quick kiss. "This is why we can’t have nice things!" He chuckled, shaking his head. "I swear, that was the least romantic interruption ever."
"Welcome to family Christmas." Trent groaned, as he pulled away reluctantly to go help his mum. "I guess we’re done for now?" She teased, trying to contain her giggles. "For now." He sighed, clearly reluctant to part from their moment. "Well, there's always next time." Y/n chuckled as she turned the water off. "Yeah, next time I’ll lock the door." He smirked as he hopped out and flinging a towel around him to go help his mother.

IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAYS. Some were out partying, some were in their homes with their family, and some were with their significant other. But there are a few that were alone during this special holiday. One of them was a female.
She didn't have a choice to be alone during Christmas, but because she was sick. She has no choice but to be home alone. Her boyfriend had plans for them, but because she was sick, it was canceled at the last minute. Her family and friends rang her doorbell to give her presents and she gave theirs.
Now, she was alone in the cold empty apartment. She was sitting in the living room looking at the Christmas tree. She looked at her gift bag next to the couch. The only gift that was left for her to give. She sighed as she looked at that blue gift bag. “Does he hate me?” She thought.
She curled up into her warm blanket even more. Still feeling sick but didn't want to waste the day in bed. She hated how sick she was during her favorite holiday. Nothing is worse than being sick during something you loved so much. She then looked at the soup her mother made that she hadn't touched. The guilt was so unbearable that she didn't have any appetite to eat or drink anything.
Her boyfriend planned the day, but because of her, everything was ruined. Suddenly, she heard someone punching her passcode. She didn't move from her spot since it was probably her mother checking on her. Closing her eyes, she felt so empty and tired.
She heard the front door closed and footsteps slowly making their way. A warm hand softly touched her forehead before a sigh was heard. She slowly opened her eyes before widening them. “Jaeyun?”
Her boyfriend softly smiled at her when he saw her eyes were opened. “Did I wake you up?” She shook her head. “No, I was awake before you came.” She took a minute before saying the next words, “Are you mad at me?” Jaeyun's eyes widened before shaking his head with no hesitation. “No, why would I be?”
Eunu felt more embarrassed after she heard what he said. “Well, I thought you did cause we have to cancel the plans that you made months ahead.” She looked from the distance, not wanting to meet his eyes. She could feel his hand over hers and gently squeeze it. “I'm not mad and would never be even if I made the plans months ahead and had to cancel it. You are more important than the plans. Plus, I have better plans for next year, and we can go on a date when you are better if it makes you feel better, Eunu.” He gently smiled at her. “Why did you ask, love?”
She slowly met his eyes, and tears suddenly started to form. “It just…you didn't come here until later, so I thought…” Jaeyun's eyes widened before they softened. “Oh! That's the reason?” She slowly nodded. He quickly let go of her hands and went somewhere in the room. She followed him with her eyes before he went where she couldn't see him. “Close your eyes, love.” Eunu closed her eyes just like he said. She could hear footsteps walking towards her, and the couch sank a bit.
“Okay open them,” he told her. She slowly opened her eyes, and her eyes sparkled with tears. “Oh my goodness, this is so beautiful,” she choked on her tears. Jaeyun reached his thumb to wipe her tears. “I am glad. This is why I was late. I was running to the mall to pick up this and another present that I ordered two days ago. Then, I was stuck in traffic for a while.” Eunu quickly hugged her boyfriend as tears were still falling. “I'm sorry for having doubts and assuming that you hate me.”
Jaeyun hugged her back tightly, but not too tight. “It's okay, love. I am sorry for making you feel that way. I want to surprise you.” She shook her head before slowly pulling away. He quickly wiped her tears with his thumb. “What is your other present?” He smiled. “Do you want me to put this bracelet first?” She nodded.
Her boyfriend took the bracelet out of the box and gently put it on her wrist. She looked at the silver bracelet with a smile on her face. “It's so beautiful.” Jaeyun then went somewhere for a while before coming back with a medium-sized bag. He sat back down in front of her and took out another box from the bag. “I love you so much. You are so perfect and precious. Most times, I don't deserve you. You are my light through my darkness.”
He opened the box, revealing a necklace with a ring in it. Eunu was in tears again when he said his little speech. “Do you remember your ring I gave you during our first anniversary?” She nodded, a bit confused about where this was going. “Remember that one night, you thought you lost it?”
She nodded even more confused about what was going on. “Well, I found it, and instead of giving it back to you. I went to my friend's shop who can do something like this and asked him to make a special necklace and put this ring in the middle since it's special for both of us.”
Jaeyun took a deep breath, so he didn't cry when he said the next words. “I am not proposing to you yet since we are still in our 4th year of being together, and you want to wait until we reach at least 6 years of being together. So this is a promise necklace and ring. I promise to ask you to marry you. I want to promise to be with you forever until our death. You are the love of my life, and I don't want anyone else but you. Will you be my promise too?”
By the time he finished, Eunu was sobbing a lot. She quickly nodded to his question. “Yes, I would love to be your promise, too!” Jaeyun felt tears falling when she said those words. He quickly hugged her again and kissed her neck softly. “Oh my goodness, I love you more than anything!”
“I love you, too!” They looked at each other as Jaeyun slowly pulled away. He gently rested his forehead against hers. Smiles were on both their lips. “Do you want me to put it on for you?” He asked her. “Sure,” she answered. He pulled away and helped her put the necklace on.
Once the necklace was around her, she looked down, gently took the necklace into her index finger and thumb before she looked at it. “It has our initials,” she smiled. Jaeyun nodded. “Yeah, I asked my friend to also carve our initials together on the ring.” She looked at him and smiled. “I love both of your presents. I have presents for you, too. It isn't as great as these, but I know you will still love it.”
She took the bag next to the couch and put it in front of them. “Open them.” She watched him nervously as he took out his presents. His eyes widened when he saw the first present. It was a mug that had a drawing of his dog, Layla and him playing in the snow with a snowman. “I drew the drawing when you were at work in the past few months. I know you love Layla so much, so I want to do something special. Last month, I went to the pottery store to make that mug for you.” Jaeyun hugged her and kissed her forehead. “Thank you, love. It's so beautiful.”
“I also have something else for you.” She signaled him to look in the bag more. He put down the mug on the table before opening the bag again. He slowly took out the item. His eyes widened. It was a Nintendo Switch and a few games that he wanted for the Switch. Including Animal Crossing New Horizons + Happy Home Paradise.
“I know you wanted a Nintendo Switch for a while and wanted to play these games with the help of your friends and your parents. We brought the games and the switch. Plus—she pulled out her own switch from behind her—I brought my own switch and brought the Animal Crossing New Horizons + Happy Home Paradise for myself, so we can connect together!”
“Thank you, love!” He put down the present that was in his hands and pulled her into a hug. She felt much better now. They stayed like that for a while. “Do you feel better now?” He broke the comfortable silence. She nodded. He kissed her forehead. “That's good. Let's have an at-home date for the rest of the day.”
She nodded, not wanting to say anything and just wanting to be in his arms. “We can watch a kdrama that you wanted to watch and make hot chocolate with marshmallows for the two of us.”
She nodded, agreeing with him as her eyes slowly closed. He kissed her forehead once again. “Merry Christmas, love. You are so perfect, and I love you more than anything else.” He whispered softly into her ears as she slowly fell asleep in his arms.

Nola lifted her head as the front door slammed shut and Jax stormed into the kitchen, knowing from the smell of herbs that he would find his Old Lady there. No one but him knew what she was, how special she really wasᅳ and that was a good thing, for her own protection.
He knew that his club would be able to deal with it after they declared him crazy first, and maybe Jax would tell his brothers about Nola's abilities at some pointᅳ but only when his Old Lady was ready. Until then, she continued to secretly help lead the club on the right path, mainly by helping Jax talk to his dead fatherᅳ rarely, after all, it was no longer white magic once you summoned the dead.
But sometimes Jax needed the guidance that only John could give him, as much as he hated using his Old Lady for thatᅳ but Nola was happy to help, in any situation. When someone in the club was injured, she worked in the background to make sure that the healing happened much faster or that something worse could be prevented.
But that wasn't all. Thanks to Nola, Jax had learned to love again, to let warmth back into his cold heart after Tara had run off again two years ago and tried to take his sons away from him. In the end, Tara had agreed to leave the boys with him as long as she could see them both regularly, and finally moved to Oregon to take on her new job.
And when Nola came into his life about six months later, it hit him like a truck. Something about this woman had drawn him in immediately, the shimmer in her greenish eyes so strong that it felt like she could see into his soul, as if she knew exactly what he neededᅳ and shortly afterwards he had found out why.
The fact that she was a witch was a shock at first, but it made no difference. It was her person he loved, for whom he would go over dead bodies. And she would do the same for him, as he'd soon find out.
"What's wrong?" Her voice was sharp, different than usual, as if she knew something bad had happened. "What happened, Jax?"
She took a step closer, tentatively reaching for his wrists as he ran his hands down his face in despair, anger flashing in his glassy eyes. "Tara took the boys. She's gone, Nola, just gone."
He watched as Nola stumbled back, her face twisted in shock as she let the news sink in. One hand flew to her chest, the other used to brace herself against the doorframe, just as broken as he was.
Nola loved the boys as if they were her own and Jax had mentioned often enough that she was more of a mother than Tara ever had. But the doctor still had a right to see the kids because Thomas was her biological son and Jax was stupid enough to sign half of the rights to Abel over to her years ago.
"She took my babies?", she asked through a sob before blind rage overcame her. Her gaze turned cold, her eyes shining dangerously. "Do you have anything from her? It doesn't matter what, even a photo is enough."
"Can such a spell harm the baby?" Jax asked, gently grabbing her hand before casting a worried glance at her not-yet-visible baby bump. "If so, we'll find another way, babe."
"No, it can't. She'll pay for this. She can't just keep coming into our lives and ruining it by taking our babies", Nola seethed, tears of anger at Tara and fear for her children welling up in her eyes. "She'll feel the consequences."
"As much as I want that", Jax began seriously, pulling her flush against him before placing a hand against her cheek. "I don't want you to put yourself and our daughter in danger."
"You don't even know if it's a girl", she murmured quietly, seeking refuge in his arms, her head resting on his chest. "I've been a witch my whole life, Jax. I know what I'm doing, let me help."
"I just have a feeling", he mumbled against her long, raven-black hair before he placed a kiss on the top of her head, gently pushing her away by her arms. "Are you sure about this, darlin'?"
"Yes, absolutely sure", she assured him eagerly. The young woman could never do anything that could harm her own flesh and blood. "And now bring me something from Tara so I can find the bitch."
An hour later, Nola was sitting at the large dining table in the small but perfect house in which Jax and the kids now lived with her, the room dark due to the drawn curtains. Only the light of a few candles illuminated the dining room with soft light.
The words Nola spoke were barely understandable, but Jax still tried to figure out what exactly his Old Lady was saying; to no avail. However, concern rose in him when some blood dripped from her nose and her voice vibrated more strongly. But before he could say anything, his hand already resting on her shoulder, her eyes shot open.
"Done", she purred softly and pointed to the candles in front of her, which was placed right above an old picture of Tara, the only one Jax had found in a box in the garage. Next to it was another candle with a picture of Thomas and Abel. "The candles have to burn until they burn outᅳ don't blow them out. Give me a piece of paper, I'll write down the address of the motel."
"Why, if you've already found her?" Jax asked, standing up and coming back with a piece of paper, a pen and a tissue. "Why is your nose bleeding, Nola? I told youᅳ"
"I'm fine, baby", Nola hummed, placing a hand against his arm before taking the things with a soft 'thank you'. Only when the address was written on paper did she wipe the blood from her nose. "I want to come with you, and before you say noᅳ"
This time Jax interrupted her with a gentle kiss, caressing her cheek as he slid the note into his pocket. "We'll do this together, babe, you and me."
Nola smiled gratefully. "Then let's go, I wanna look her in the eyes again before it's too late."
"Wait, what do you mean by that?" Jax' chair slid across the floor with a squeak as he stood up after Nola, who was covering the candles with special glasses so nothing could happen. "What did you do?"
"I told you she would feel it", she shrugged nonchalantly, grabbed his hand and dragged him outside. "Come on, I want my babies back."
"Maybe I should stop asking questions", Jax muttered under his breath before they hurried to her SUV so as not to waste any more time.
While Jax and Nola were on their way to the motel just a few miles outside of Charming, Tara was thinking of a plan to hide with the kids until she suddenly felt a scratchy pain in her throat that was getting stronger by the second.
On her way to the bathroom to get a glass of water, she was overcome by a coughing fit. Everything in her chest tightened, taking away her ability to breathe. Panic rose in her as she was unable to stop the coughing. She brought a hand to her mouth as she gasped for air, her eyes growing as she noticed the blood in her palm.
"What theᅳ", she couldn't say more, the words just a broken croak.
A sharp pain shot through her chest, sending her to the floor in panic. Trying to sit on her knees, her upper body arched in pain. The doctor began to gag until blood gushed out of her mouth like a waterfall.
The liquid seeped into the floor, staining the beige carpet a crimson red. Her panicked gaze fell on the boys, who had both fallen asleep at the same time about twenty minutes ago, and nothing seemed to wake them upᅳ  and Tara wasn't exactly quiet.
It was weird, but the boys' chests were rising and falling at regular intervals, so they had to be okay.
Tara crawled across the floor to get to her bag, and again she threw up blood, this time it even gushed out of her nose, causing her to roll onto her back and clutch her throat hastily, out of pure reflex.
With each long cough, blood spurted upwards, covering her face. This was her end, she could feel it. If she didn't get to the hospital within a few minutes, she would dieᅳ that much was certain.
Tara jerked her head to the side as the door swung open, her eyes nearly popping out of their sockets as Nola and Jax stormed into the room, the latter closing the door behind him.
"You bitch!" It was Nola who approached Tara first, kicking the doctor in the ribs, not surprised at the sightᅳ after all, she was responsible for it. "Did you really think you could take my kids?", the woman let out a bitter laugh, shaking her head as she slowly crouched down and brushed a few strands of Tara's short hair out of her face, smiling as the woman twitched and whimpered under her touch. "How are you feeling? You made quite a mess here."
"Babe, what is this?" Jax looked at the two women, not quite sure what he was staring at exactly.
He didn't care about Tara, but he didn't want Nola to have to take such steps just because his life was pure chaos. "I don't want you to kill anyone for me."
"Baby, I really love you", Nola began with a deep sigh, looking up at her fiancé. "But it's not always all about you. The bitch took our kids and kept trying to ruin our livesᅳ I've had enough."
Lifting an eyebrow, Jax was at a loss for words, not sure what to say, but his chest still filled with pure pride. His Old Lady could be a bitch, a protective one, and that was hot as hell.
"Alright, do what makes you happy, darlin'", he said, lifting his hands before he stopped behind her and crossed his arms over his chest. "But what about the boys? I don't want them to see this."
"Don't worry, they'll sleep until we blow out the candles", she reassured him, frowning. "Do you really think I would've risked our kids seeing that? You should know me better, handsome."
Jax rubbed his neck sheepishly, giving her an apologetic smile. "Sorry babe, that's not what I meant."
When Tara reached for help and grabbed Nola's wrist, Nola pulled her arm back in disgust, her eyes darkening. "I could make this stop", she said with a sweet smile, making Tara nod frantically. "On one condition.."
Nola closed her eyes, hummed a few words to herself and tapped Tara's forehead with the tip of her index finger for a few seconds, making Tara's coughing fit stop immediately.
Tara rolled onto her stomach as panicked sobs left her throat, tears streaming down her pale face. Only when she realized what had just happened did she sit down on her butt and slid as far away from Nola as possible, her features twisted in shock.
"Oh, so now you're scared?" Jax sneered angrily, his steps heavy as he slowly walked towards Tara and crouched down in front of her, Nola right next to him. "What do we learn from this?"
"Iᅳ I'm sorry", Tara choked out, bursting into tears as she pulled her legs against her trembling body. "Please..please don't hurt me!"
"Aww, she's even begging!" Nola snorted a laugh, her face only inches away from Tara's. "Here's what's going to happen. You go back to Oregon, never set foot in Charming again, and never think or talk of us again. If you try anyway, well..",
Nola sighed theatrically, almost as if she was enjoying the idea of hurting the doctor again. "Then next time I'll let you choke miserably on your own bloodᅳ and I'll watch with a smile on my face."
Tara's bitter sobs bounced off the walls, both of her hands covering her mouth to muffle the volume. "Wᅳ what are you?"
"None of your damn business", Jax snarled, his gaze murderously intense as his blue lenses dug into Tara's skull. "Did you hear what Nola said? Are you goin' to listen to her?"
"Yes, yes for God's sake! But please, please let me go", she pleaded, the sight almost heartbreaking if only someone would care about her.
Nola smiled contentedly, pushing herself to her feet. "Okay, then we're done here! Have a nice life, bitch."
While Nola turned around and threw her black hair over her shoulders so she could pick one of their sleeping sons up, Jax glared at Tara again, his gaze nothing but a threat.
"Don't say a word to anyone or you'll wish you never messed with us, Tara",  Jax said, more serious than ever before, his voice was dangerously calm, before he spat at Tara's feet and then picked up Abel before he left the motel room with his family.
Moaning Jax's name, Nola threw her head back, her hands placed on his chest as she moved her hips in circles, his cock buried all the way inside her slick folds.
They had both needed a break after that day, and after spending the evening with their children, they had retreated to the bedroom and wasted no time in ripping off their clothes.
"That's it, darlin', keep goin'", Jax urged with a groan slipping from his lips, slapping her ass as he pushed his hips up, helping her out a little.
He felt his climax building, so he brought a hand to Nola's full breasts, kneading one in his palm as he rolled her nipple between his fingers, knowing that Nola never lasted long when her breasts got touchedᅳ this was one way to make her come, always.
"Fuck Jax", the woman on top of him gasped, locking eyes with him, returning Jax' grin, savouring every second as she rode him. "I'm close, baby", she drawled sultry, another moan falling from her plump, dark-red lips.
"Good, let go for me", he demanded encouragingly, licking his lips as his own breathing quickened and his cock twitched inside her. "Wanna feel you cum on my cock, sweetheart."
And that was it. Something in Nola's lower abdomen snapped and a moment later she climaxed, moaning his name loudly as she squirted all over him after Jax rolled and pinched her nipple between his fingers again, a gush of fluids now covering his pubes, her long nails leaving bloody welts on his chest.
"Fuck babe", he panted, his voice deep and hoarse as he slid his hand to the back of Nola's neck to pull her head down, his lips brushing hers.
"I love it when you do that", Jax croaked against her lips, an excited whimper falling from them before he pulled her into a sloppy kiss, chasing his own climax.
Nola moaned into the kiss as thick ropes of cum filled her, the warm, thick liquid warming her walls even more. She was already pregnant, so what else could happen?
As she collapsed onto his chest, her breath coming in quick, ragged gasps, she closed her eyes and sighed softly as Jax ran his long fingers through her raven-black strands.
"I love you, Nola, I hope you know that", he murmured, the weariness slowly becoming audible in his tone as the day took its toll. "Thank you for todayᅳ for getting out boys back."
"I know, don't worryᅳ and I love you, too, more than you know", she hummed, not doubting his words. The advantage of being a witch was that she could tell when someone was being honest or not.
Nola slowly lifted her head, leaving a kiss on his lips. "I think there's nothing I wouldn't do for you and our childrenᅳ and I mean that."
Jax smiled weakly, rubbing his thumb against her cheekbone after she rolled off him, laying down next to him. "Good, because I'd do anything for you too, darlin'."
"I know, handsome", Nola smiled again as she laid her head back on his chest, the sound of his heartbeat soothing.
When Jax placed his hand on her bump, like he did every night since they had found out that she was pregnant, their eyelids fluttered shut, both falling into a deep sleep after a few minutes after the eventful day.

Miraculous rewriting: Chloenette AU (Christmas Special)
Tumblr media
This is the rewritten version of the Miraculous Christmas Special
Prologue
Season 1
Season 2
Season 3
Time for the rewriting !
Santa Claws (Christmas Special):
The story happens before the Volpina episode (like in canon).
Marinette and her parents give Christmas log cakes for their customers: Alya, her Césaire family (Otis, Ella, Etta and Marlene (Nora wasn't in Paris), Alix and her father, Rose and Juleka, Nadja and her daughter Manon, Nino and Sabrina.
Later, it's Chloé's and Daddy's turn to enter to the bakery.
Marinette is a bit of surprised to see her former "girl-" friend(?) (but still problematic friend) Chloé in there.
In this AU, when the two girls wish Merry Christmas each other (oddly but embarrassing), Chloé whispers to the bakery girl:
"But I tell you, Dupain-Cheng: It's just a mutual feeling for one exceptional day."
In same time, Sabine briefly glares at Chloé (Marinette's mother still considers Chloé as a bad influence). 😡 The rich blondie girl is worried about that. 😰
After Chloé and her Daddy For this story, Socqueline comes to the bakery. For this scene, Marinette feels unpleased to see Socqueline again. She remembers the day when Socqueline has intervened at the Grand Paris and inadvertly disturbed the private moment between her and Chloé (read the Prologue).
Socqueline says "Hello." and "Merry Christmas !" to the Dupain-Cheng family. And Tom and Sabine happily answer idem to the old teenage girl. Marinette says the same thing but with a bored tone.
Socqueline asks to her ex-friend while the latter gives the log cake to the former.
Socqueline: If it's about the last time, I'm sorry for disturbing you. I don't want to make lose your time. So be happy. Marinette (sighing): Forget it. I prefer to not think about that again, Socqueline. And today, it's Christmas. Take our gift and have a nice Christmas with your family. Socqueline: (sighing) I'm made aware you make your time good at school: School representative. New friends. I understand you don't need of me now Marinette. But I promise to you I made my best for you. (taking a cold sight, briefly impassive) What ever you think. 😒 (seemly becoming normal again and acting enlightened) And Merry Christmas everyone. 👋😊
While Socqueline is leaving the place with the log cake, Marinette feels culprit, remorseful about the cold sight Socqueline had previously held: "And what if ending any friendship with Socqueline had hurt her so much ? 😔"
Nextafter, Placide I.T., Adrien's bodyguard, comes to the bakery. So Marinette brings a gift she wants to give to Adrien. She asks to the Gorilla for give it to the blond boy and for wish to the latter a merry christmas too.
At the Agreste mansion, Adrien and Nathalie decorate the Christmas tree. But, like in canon, Adrien is in a bad mood: His father is not here for help him to decorate. And more, it's the first Christmas for the boy without her mom.
When Placide comes back to the mansion, he gives the Marinette's gift to Adrien who walks up to his bedroom.
At his room, an upset Adrien, in front of Plagg, expresses his angry toward his father because of his distant/neglectful behavior toward his family and his role as fashion designer. So the blond boy transforms into Cat Noir and flees from the mansion.
Like in canon, there is his song moment. During his run across Paris, under a snowy weather ❄, by expressing his hatred against Christmas, Cat Noir cataclysms a Gabriel advertisement. Later, he recomforts Plagg with the Marinette's gift (which is a red and white snow-decorated hat Mari had created).
At the Agreste mansion, Gabriel has accepted to join Adrien for spend Christmas with him (after being convicted by Nathalie). Unfortunately, while Gabriel came to Adrien's room for give a gift to him, he finds out his son is missing. And the police, the Parisians, Socqueline and Marinette (who transforms into Ladybug) work together for search and find the missing teenage boy.
In same moment, Adrien is wandering around Paris under a snowy weather. He meets a red-white clothed old man 🎅 who is bullied by two naughty children with insults and snowballs. Adrien defends the poor man and the two children's father tells to the two brats to apologize.
Later, like in canon, Adrien offers the Marinette's hat to the red-clothed old man. The latter is wondered by the blond boy's gesture. Normally, The old man is the one who gives gifts for other people but nobody gives any present to himself. (Yeah. He is "a" Santa. 🎅)
The Santa guy gives to the boy a drink of hot chocolate (and a cheese to allow the boy to feed Plagg). Adrien talks about his family issues with the man. And the old man convinces the blond boy to return back at home for making his family Christmas. So he brings the boy back to the mansion by a sleigh driving.
But, like in the original story, once the two characters are arrived at destination, Gabriel is angry toward the Santa man and shouts to him to stay away from his son. Ladybug intervenes and eventually assaults the old man by thinking he is an akumatized supervillain.
While Ladybug is chasing the old man, the latter becomes furious against the superheroin. In same moment, Gabriel transforms into Hawk Moth, feels the Santa's negative emotions and sends an akuma to the concerned one.
At outside, a ashamed Ladybug realizes the Santa man isn't akumatized and tries to apologizes. But the old man declines the red-black girl's ask and leaves the place by sleigh drive. Marinette/Ladybug now begins to understand how Socqueline could felt after she rejected the latter girl. (read the Prologue)
The man is even upset about the fact "there isn't anyone for respect Christmas. The old is in fact THE real Santa Claus. 🎅
Hawk Moth akumatizes Santa into Santa Claws. And the akumatized Santa causes chaos in entire Paris.
Tumblr media
Like in canon, Santa Claws tells to Adrien he wants to avenge Christmas spiritual concept (for him and the boy's sake).
Even later, the dark Santa throws a present containing cockroaches on Chloé at the Grand Paris.
Because of the akumatized Santa's trouble across Paris, Ladybug and Cat Noir stand up against him. They eventually defeat him in same way as in canon. By offering a big fake present to the evilized Santa and trapping him for destroy the akumatized object: The Marinette's hat (which is used to be given to Adrien and later given to Santa Claus by the previous). The two heroes save Christmas.
After the battle, Gabriel is relieved to find Adrien. Father and son are going to reconcile each other. And at the same moment, Nathalie calls them about a group of visitors ahead the portal: They are the group of Parisians who participated to search the now found blond boy.
Marinette, Alya, Chloé, Sabrina, Alix, their five formers' families, Nino, Juleka, Rose, Kim, Max and Santa Claus are here. Even better, Socqueline is here too.
In this AU, Marinette has called Socqueline on phone between the Santa Claws incident and the reunion to the Agreste mansion. The bluenette told to her former "senpai" she is sorry about ending any friendship with her.
The conversation be like:
Marinette: Breaking our friendship you was a mistake, Socqueline. In this period, I am just pissed off about being overprotected. I felt like treated like a toddler. In fact, I wanted to be able to make my life by my own. Your gestures are based on good intentions and I misunderstood your actions. I feel so ashamed about hurt you at the mind. 😔 Tonight, I ask this request as a sincere friend: Do you want to come to join me at the Adrien's home ? Mom, Dad, my friends and a famous Santa Claus come to place for expressing our support to Adrien and his family after having found him safe at home. You helped us to find him like Ladybug and Cat Noir and even an unexpected guest. And it's christmas. Socqueline: Uh... Of course. I will go to join you. My mom too. I am surprised about how mature you acted and how well you changed since the previous school year. But I understood your feelings, Marinette. I've made my mistake of not trusting you enough in the past but I don't feel hostile toward you. I am proud of you. 🥰👍 Marinette: Thanks. So, can I say we are friends again ? 😌🥺 Socqueline: Of course, Marinette. And I still consider you as a good friend. 😊 Oh. I want to know who is this mysterious guest you are talking about. 😏 Marinette: The Santa Claus. 🎅 Socqueline (giggling): Do you still believe in the Santa ? Marinette: Just a Santa. But he is the one who brought Adrien back to home. Oh. I forgot another guest. You will be surprised this time. Socqueline: Who is it ? Ladybug ? Marinette: Chloé. But don't worry, she is okay for this Christmas. She even gave her contribution for the searches even if she did it for a few minutes under the snow. Socqueline: I see... Okay, I will come. 😎
Back to present. Like in canon, Gabriel invites them to enter to the mansion for the Christmas dinner. The people enjoy the moment on place.
Marinette, Adrien, Alya and Chloé and the other teens share their Christmas wishes. When Marinette and Chloé expressed their Christmas wishes (normal but joyfully this time), Socqueline comes to them and says to them: "Merry Christmas, Marinette. Merry Christmas Chloé."
The rich brat gasps to see her former enemy inside the mansion. And she is wondered that the latter politely talked to her. So, Chloé (with a minor disturbed tone, feigning a smile and holding thimbs up) answers to Socqueline: "Nice. Thank you. Uh... Merry Christmas to you. 😳🥴"
Next to Chloé, Marinette, Alya and Sabrina are smiling (like funnied). But the blond brat doesn't notice it.
During the dinner, a happy Adrien wishes a Merry Christmas to his "defunct" mother by watching the family portrait.
End of the Christmas story. And Merry Christmas to everyone. ✨🎄
