some months ago i got one of those vintage nightgowns by accident (it looked like a normal dress online but it was badly advertised) and i had never worn it until yesterday and my god claire would love this thing. it barely serves its purpose (covering you up). you wake up and you wonder why you even bothered to put clothes on. most useless article of clothing ever

#and it’s not even short the buttons just suck #it’s really pretty and it could be fitted into a dress but i don’t have time or patience for that so i decided to use it as a nightgown #but like i don’t know if i’ll be able to do that!#it has nice pockets though #and also it IS from the late 50s lol. kinda crazy i found this in the first place #i have another one that is gorgeousss. and i got it by accident as well (same situation actually) but that one i can’t use at all #because it’s completely transparent!! claire would love it. it IS gorgeous. it’s teal!
