as much as i agree with you i feel TWoTL answers (?) a lot of that

will himself says “i dont think i can save myself, maybe that’s just fine” which in itself IS acceptance (or well on his way to it and fully aware of that)

and that acceptance is further cemented in will’s later line of “it’s beautiful”

gotta admit i actually like the idea of if hugh AND bryan's takes on how will perceives his feelings for hannibal are BOTH true

like bryan saying will and hannibal are in love with each other PLUS hugh saying will is still coming to terms with some things within himself

put that together and you basically get will being in love with hannibal but in fierce denial of it because being in love with hannibal means being in love with and captivated by the cruel violence that hannibal stands for. being in love with hannibal means abandoning all sense of rational and human morality for a taste of sadistic religion. and definitely, coming to terms with being in love with such things says more about the self than it does about the other person. so of course will has to come to terms with that first—with what it means for him to be captivated and drawn and in love with such things.

i think post-fall is really the time when we could've seen will truly falling in love with hannibal. like, not just the subconscious type. the type where you choose to be in love, every moment, every day. will would have accepted by then the horrific truth that he has strayed too far from the light to ever come back—and that he doesn't want to come back. and that's the perfect time for him to be the courter than the courted. and i can see how a change of roles from s1 would happen in that respect.

so maybe will is in love with hannibal, but had not consciously chosen that truth. maybe it was a truth in the shadows he was still about to accept. and maybe he had never tried to make sense of his relationship with hannibal before because it was easier to bury everything beneath two fingers of whiskey and a letter burning in the fireplace. besides, it seems like will went from a life of seclusion and isolation into one where suddenly, there was a person who not only saw him and understood him, but also wanted him whole. no needing to ""fix"" himself. and that can be a lot. on top everything else he had to deal with.

Why I ship crowcifer, and why everyone should acknowledge it .

I come here to talk about a very underrated ship . It’s called crowcifer, aka the ship between the archangel lucifer and everyone’s favorite king of hell , Crowley. If you’re already bored please consider staying for this post is also gonna have proof on why I think they loved each other .

Now this concept might be really weird for you since oh you know lucifer beat Crowley , humiliated him , ‘killed him ‘ , and was the ultimate cause of Crowley’s death . But let me just explain the situation here .

Mr. devil was angry that A demon helped put him in the cage , and tried to kill him simply because he wanted the throne , or that’s what lucifer thought . But also he was a little impressed at the fact that Crowley was smart enough to know he hated their kind and was coming for them next . And when he got to see them again he was angry at him . So this little demon was what wanted to kill him ? He honestly thought that was ridiculous.

I’m going to start from Crowley’s side . So basically In his fandom wiki page it says that he was impressed and even inspired by some of lucifers work . He was only caging him to save himself , and not because he despised him . But then lucifer came out and had to ruin everything . Crowley could have simply put lucifer back in the cage for he would’ve been tortured worse than this , but he decided to “ make it personal “ . And as Crowley said : “ it is personal “ . He humiliated him and well Crowley got what he wanted back from him , and after that why did Crowley not send luci back ? I mean he got everything he wanted from the devil so why keep him around without even harming him physically like lucifer did to him ? Because Crowley actually cared and lucifer was the only one to at least try and pretend to listen to his rants . He sometimes would even respond too .

There are a few similarities between these too .

First of all , underneath all these layers they put up , they’re just too huge , adorable and misunderstood softies . So that’s good for both .

This isn’t a similarity but we all notice that lucifer doesn’t have the brightest of mind really . And Crowley’s strength obviously doesn’t exceed lucifers , but his smarts do . So it’s like together they are the brain ( Crowley ) and the strength ( lucifer ) = evil power couple .

This isn’t a similarity either but I know that lucifer could’ve talked to Crowley and understood why for all the questions he had . But lucifer being himself didn’t do it , since he doesn’t really like that talking style . I really wish that next season they make lucifer realize why Crowley had the throne . Lucifer also could’ve tried and converted Crowley to his side .

They’re both mistreated and they always get what they don’t deserve.

They just wanna be loved , nothing more .

Both hate demons

Both are very narcissistic

Now this one is a problem. Both of them hate to have control taken away from them , and that is their biggest problem. The only reason Crowley took the throne was because he didn’t wanna be controlled by someone else . He wants his free will . And lucifer hates to be controlled so he rebelled .

And let’s be honest if we take out lucifers brothers , and the Winchester’s , he’s most likely to date a demon . And kind of the only decent demon left is Crowley . Crowley is of course unique in his eyes for he isn’t really scared of him unless in a situation he doesn’t have control . Crowley is actually quite daring and ‘rude’ to him . So he is unique. Unique is what lucifer wants . He is quite obviously impressed that with Crowley’s smarts . But why does being unique matter ? Well always in love stories you choose the person who is unique in your eyes . Like , hannigram , for instance will saw Hannibal as the only person who could understand him and see trough him . Hannibal saw will as someone who saw him too : “ I let you see me “ . Johnlock too , Sherlock is different from everybody else , therefor he is unique, John was the only one who liked Sherlock and didnt think he was a So called freak . Again unique .

These were what I had . Now the proof to why I think lucifer also loves Crowley :

Lucifer's side

1 - Lucifer could've just exploded Crowley, why did he decide to stab him ? Well it might have been because he thought he deserved a painful death for what he did . But that doesn't seem right to me . I think it's because he knew . Think about it , Lucifer created demons . He should know how they die . I mean when he was king , did he never see a demon stab another one ? Also remember In season 5 when he killed so many demons for death ? Yeah he knows how they die .

2- angels can see demons true forms or whatever. So why couldn't Lucifer see that the vessel was empty ?

3- also , he scratched Crowley's nose and when he pushed him , he wasn't looking at him . Why so ? He isn't that dumb , he knows Crowley is very smart and can escape . So why look at some other worthless demon and smile ? Because he knew . I honestly think that was a warning . He was letting Crowley live . He was telling him : " run . Run and never come back . For I may loose my temper and actually kill you "

4- Lucifer felt excited when Crowley came back . First off , he knew he didn't mess up and Crowley actually lived up to his expectations. Second , he was happy to have someone who could bare him at least a bit .

5- you can glimpse him frowning for a second as Crowley confesses his " hate " for Lucifer . But then immediately he goes back to smirking

6- when Crowley committed suicide, he was confused but sad . How so ? You may ask . Well , Lucifer looked down at his body as it hit the floor . So ? sam and dean did too . Yeah but Lucifer looked at him , with a frown on his face . Looking down on someone he hates ? Someone who humiliated him ? He didn't even look at cas when he fell down and that's his brother . He continued looking at him even when cas walked in . He couldn't hear the screams from dean as he called out to

Cas , he couldn't hear cas stepping towards him or sam dragging dean out . He was shocked and sad . Guilt ringing through this veins . But then he suddenly broke out of his trance just to look at cas with a sad / confused look on his face . Then cas stabs him , and he gets angry because how dare he , but also at himself for letting Crowley go . He's confused and hurt .

7- if this was anyone else , Lucifer would probably shrug , confused and walk over the body , if not on the body itself . Then attempt to kill sam and dean so he can see his son . He really wanted him right ?

8- everything hit him at once ( just like us ) he got out and killed cas , pretending that that incident with Crowley wasn't real . When he was thrown back he screamed at Mary . His son and the loss of Crowley angered him even more .

9- do you think lucifer is really that dumb ? That dumb to walk up to Crowley and see his unmoving , not even attempting to escape or move body and think “ yeah sure that looks legit , tots what Crowley would do “ . I’m sorry to bring it to you but he isn’t that dumb .

10- he waits and looks at him for a while before he stabs him . And after he stabs him he checks again . Almost as if he’s checking to see if he fucked up or nah .

11- he even tried to talk to Crowley at some point . ( oh there was gun , scene thingy ) That part where he told him he couldn’t believe that he was still getting played supposedly. Which tells he cares and wanted Crowley to join his side but crowls quickly shuts him up . Also the fact that he said “ I know that look “ means that lucifer knows him better than we thought he did .

It’s simple really . Crowley got what he wanted , he wiped that smug grin of his face . You may say yeah he did , In the end of the episode . That is true but you know what’s even more true ? He wiped it right then and there too . Right when he killed himself lucifer was no longer smirking or smiling .
