How are you managing to create a community around Kdrama shows when you are predominantly surrounded be Good Girls?
Oh that's a good question and to be honest I don't really know?
I started watching kdramas because @fairhairedkings got into them and she wanted to share some with me - and then from there we've kept watching together and I also started to branch out and watch some on my own. I don't think I ever really thought that much about a community? I just kinda did my own thing and started reblogging more and more kdrama/cdrama content (especially when I started watching Rebel Princess and Doom At Your Service) because I've always viewed my blog as like a living testament to the things I'm into at any given moment in time.
It's honestly been an amazing and pleasant surprise to see all the gg mutuals/followers who have popped into my messages/inbox to tell me they like those shows too or give me recs or have been encouraged to watch now too.
So I guess the really unsatisfying answer is I made a community by pure luck and happenstance because I was obnoxiously reblogging a lot of gifsets (which is very on brand for me tbh).
#asks#i'm not sure i really answered your question#but i don't really think i have an answer#so sorry?#i appreciate the ask though ❤️#it's been really interesting to see who in gg fandom also likes kdramas#there's actually a good handful and everyone keeps giving me recs 🥰#and i've gotten some new very nice mutuals#but on the other side#i've lost a good handful of followers and mutuals from gg fandom#because i now post about kdrama stuff and not exclusively gg anymore#so who really knows lol#i guess another answer is like#i reblog sets from the fandom and comment on posts?#so i'm kinda engaging in the community by doing that too?#i'm not limiting myself to just my followers?#i go into the tags and find new people#kdrama fandom is different though#from my limited experience#because shows are usually like one season and that's it#so it's a different experience in general
