hello folks we just realised the timeline probably goes:

– anton waiting tables

– scooped up by virgil (for six months)

– arrested by the same arresting officer for probably vampire-cult-ish-adjacent-offences

– anton is then in prison for six months. there is no mention of virgil serving time. there is no mention of anton and virgil being known associates before this episode. (anton kept quiet.)

– [pause for internal screaming]

– when anton gets out he gets the vampire fang dental veneers, if we believe the arrest record that doesn't mention them. they're possibly a reward. probably tethering him to the cause. to virgil.

– and as @darkfinch pointed out to me he is now an ex-con with limited job prospects and cut off from previous community ties.

– six months later virgil tests him on his resolve (anton fails) and frames him for murder :)

#like my assumption previously was that it went prison -> waiting tables -> scooped into the cult #but finch just checked with me about the timelines and. I previously thought they didn't make sense.
