Okay seriously, how the fuck is there discourse over Vader killing Watto??? Its fucking Watto, his literal whole character is being a slave owner who literally put either Anakin or Shmi being freed onto a bet and some and dice and when Anakin visited him years later, is revealed to have sold Shmi to someone else. "He was nice to Anakin!" Still was a slave owner and still owned Anakin as a slave alongside his mother and didn't wanna free either of them but was forced to via a bet.

#like seriously how the fuck is letting anakin go home early undoing the fact that he still owned anakin as a slave #and didnt wanna let anakin go even when the bet is won in qui's favor and only relents cause qui threatened to get the hutts involved #hell apparently shmi was let go off only because she plotted with the lars for her freedom saying hes weak to gambling #so like he literally didnt willingly let go of both slaves its gambling both times and having to abide by gambling laws #man would have kept them as slaves as long as he could if he had his way #because fucking slave owner seriously how is there discourage over vader getting a rare W #killing slave owners just runs in the family clearly given leia goes on to do the same as she should
