I'm putting off drawing the deut bros properly because I want them to look alike. But also not.

I think they're only half related to each other. Same dad, diff moms. And I do think Tug and Mac are meant to look more like each other, based on the costumes alone, while I personally think Munk looks nothing like them, and he only looks like Deut because of color. And I say this because the reason I hc Demeter being Jemima's mom (and I assume everyone else's too) is that they look very very similar. Down to the collar. Even though they barely interact, unlike Tug/Munk/Deut.

I also don't know if I agree with the Griz is the mom hcs. I totally see it, especially given how Tug and Munk are the first cats to react strongly to her presence, along with Demeter, but I believe Demes inclusion only makes it all the more confusing. To the point that I thought maybe Griz is Deme's mom, and since I subscribe to the idea of Bomba being her sister, it only makes sense that Bomba is Griz's daughter. Like, it just fits in my head. The attitude, the personality, the protectiveness towards Deme.

Anyways, where was I. The Deuts brothers. I think Munk is adopted. And maybe Tug and Mac have the same mom. But I don't think it's Griz. But maybe she was at one point a figure like Jenny (basically everyone's stand in mom) and was resentful about it, or got greedy or her ambition got the better of her.
