There’s something special about “Teen” being so adoring of Agatha and being so excited about the coven forming, even putting up a “Welcome Coven” sign. How he feels safe with her and trusts her right off the bat even though…well, she’s Agatha. It gives me the same feeling of being a young queer person and discovering an older queer person who you look up to so much; a person whose life encapsulates the one you want to live, but maybe didn’t realize was possible. Or even how historically queer men’s culture has been tied to the concept of idols and divas, the ties to drag culture and the love so many gay men have for powerful women. It’s really sweet to see, and I love how thematically and textually queer this show is so far!
