#this is the cheesy idea I had hehehehehehe#it’s such a overused trope#but I love it so much#the REALIZATION#the quiet acceptance#just !!! MWAH#I’m mostly imagining this in my lambert lives au ( yes I gave him both his eyes sue me )#but amidst the whole turmoil and war against TWSITD#lambert begins to really fall for Rodrigue#because after the deaths of both his wives#lambert had sworn off love#putting only his duties as king and raising his son as his priorities#he was done having his heart broken#sacrificing his chance at happiness again#but love they say is the most powerful force of all#and lambert began to fall for Rodrigue and truly see Rodrigue’s own feelings as well#despite Rodrigue doing everything he can to keep his feelings hidden as well#because he thought he would never have a chance with lambert#but they’re always spending time together either way and sometimes they just show through#because Rodrigue is a hopeless gay#it’s not to say lambert didn’t love Rodrigue#he loves him dearly as a friend and brother in arms#but this is the first time he would see Rodrigue in a romantic light#and I’m gonna shut up now#wip#lambrigue#fe3h#lambert egitte blaiddyd#rodrigue achille fraldarius
