It's not just that Jason kills or has ideological differences it's that Jason doesn't prioritize Bruce's pain over his own. Doesn't function as an emotional support child for Bruce anymore. He shakes Bruce around, drives him to the brink, asks WHY? and doesn't care that he's rocking the boat. And that's a bigger part of his betrayal than the family would like to admit.
