What made you ship it?

tumblr user gayalfredprufrock made me ship it actually. but also i just liked the like 3 fics that existed for them when i discovered the ship like they were well written and the stories were fun and like i can be convinced to ship many many things with a good first fic

What are your favorite things about the ship?

well you see. i love narcissa and i love ginny. also fuck it i love sapphic age gap. but actually i really love the dynamic of prim and proper narcissa and ginny who is just like. she's a feral cat. she's messy and disorganised and being around her raises narcissa's blood pressure

What made you ship it?

i think i saw it on someone's list of likes for an exchange and thought huh that sounds neat. no wait i remember i wrote them for the double drabble exchange and it was angsty and toxic and yeah that's it like i ship them in the sense that i like to read them in doomed, toxic relationships, but like, they're not endgame for me, they're fucked, they can't ever have a happy ending. idk if that counts as shipping but a lot of the ships i like i like them in that way. like ohohohoho you are so bad for each other. now kiss

What are your favorite things about the ship?

i like that they are so different and so toxic and lily is so headstrong and bellatrix doesn't always get the upper hand. actually my favourite thing is them breaking up. and i don't mean that in an ew they shouldn't be together they need to break up way i just mean i really love that dynamic for them

ok so. i dont think that 'incest bad' is an unpopular opinion but i think there's generally two camps within the fandom that are either 'incest bad if you write it you're horrible' and 'black family incest hot because hot characters' and my opinion lies kind of in the middle. like i really enjoy black family incest fics for the dynamic (which i know is just like someone saying they like porn for the plot but im being deadass) like i just think that family is so fucked up that of course the kids were groomed into it for the sake of purity. or like trauma bonding together, both escaping arranged marriages, trying to get some sense of control. like there's so many possibilities to explore with any blackcest pairing so like for me siricissa is mostly a vessel for exploring the fucked up black family relationship

the fics for this ship are very good and if i get back into my hermione era maybe i'll read more of them. also they usually kill off lucius which i find so funny (i love lucius but i am so pro killing him off so narcissa can fuck other people)
