After a year of being vegan, I've decided to give up on being vegan because I just felt that it was making my eating disorder worse, I already struggled with a restrictive intake eating disorder before I went vegan and I think being vegan was just making it worse due to me having less options on what I can eat, I'll probably pick up being vegan again later on in life but I just don't think I can sustain being vegan currently due to my physical health and vegan food being so fucking expensive right now.
#I'm kinda disappointed with myself but I'd rather not sacrifice my physical health just for my political beliefs tbh#If anyone starts fucking shouting at me for giving up being vegan I'll fucking block you#because I value my personal health over stupid political beliefs and if people can't respect my decision then I don't wanna hear it#like keep it to yourself cuz I'm already disappointed in myself I don't need anyone else being pissy at me#lozer post's

My transmale brother is ace and has a legitimate fear of children. He has told our mother that he is trans, she is trying her best to remember that he is trans and goes by he/him pronouns, but if we correct her, she tells us that him being trans is just a phase.
Let me get a point across here.
My brother experienced gender dysphoria when he was 13 years old
It was causing him such severe anxiety and depression that he was born female that he had to go to therapy for it
For 10 months
And mom thinks the depression and anxiety was caused by some other thing, even when a therapist told her that my brother was experiencing dysphoria.
My brother has told her multiple times that he wants to get a hysterectomy when he turns 18 so he doesn't have to have children. Mom says no for the statement 'you might change your mind in the future and want kids. You can't get your ovaries put back'
First off,
ππ» KIDS ππ» SCARE ππ» HIM ππ»
They have since he was 10. Idk what it is about them but small children absolutely terrify him, and I'm not gonna question him about it, coz you can't ask someone why they're afraid of something, coz that can be extremely personal, or something they don't want you to know.
Secondly,
HE CAN'T HAVE KIDS ANYWAYS IF HE GETS TOP SURGERY AND BOTTOM SURGERY
She fucking KNOWS he wants to get surgeries, he even says he's gonna start saving money for it as soon as he has a job, and mom chooses to ignore this fact.
And then there's this stupid rule:
That's right,
Doctors can deny a medical procedure to anyone if it is 'against their religious beliefs' and they aren't required to refer you to someone else, meaning you have to go through the process over and over again until you find someone willing to do your procedure. This can take months or even YEARS.
If there is a 'pro-life' doctor
he/she/they can deny you birth control prescriptions, hysterectomies, and vasectomies, even if you need these things for medical reasons
If there is a transphobe doctor,
hw/she/they can deny top and/or bottom surgery, even if it takes a severe toll on your mental health
It's cruelty.
I don't have a political standing. I'm not a democrat or republican. As soon as I'm old enough to vote, I'm just going to vote for whoever I like best at that time.
I didn't like Hillary's statements, so if I was able to vote in the 2016 elections, I would've voted for Trump.
But Trump implemented this rule, and by the Gods, I will not be happy until this rule gets fuckin yeeted off this earth.
My parents are trump supporters, and are extremely rude to anyone who is otherwise(fuckin boomers istg they are the worst people to ever exist aside from the people who kicked the natives out of their land 200-300 years ago). Now when I saw this rule get passed, I was immediately like, "what the actual fuck?!" I know this country is all for freedom of religion, but this rule allows doctors to say no to birth control because it's 'against their religion', when some religions NEED birth control. U don't remember what religion it is that is like this, but sometimes the women need to use birth control to get rid of their periods, because THEIR religion says that they need to be clean on their wedding day.
This rule allows doctors to deny birth control to woman because it's 'against their religion,' even if it is a religious Necessity's for the person who wants it.
THIS RULE IS AGAINST FREEDOM OF RELIGION, NOT FOR IT.
And I don't know about you, but I think that's fucked up. I don't hold a lot of opinions, but I do hold values.
One of these values is that you should respect other people's decisions about their own bodies because it's their body and you have no control over it.
One of these values is that you can't use 'god made you a girl/boy, so you have to stay that way' as an argument when you are talking to someone who holds different religious values than you.
One of these values is that all people matter no matter what religion they follow, what or who they identify as, or who they love, because in the end we're all human.
So if you're a doctor, you shouldn't be able to use 'it's against my religion' against someone who follows a different religion.
Their religious beliefs are just as important as yours, so you shouldn't be allowed to deny someone of a different religion something that they need, because then YOU are going against the freedom of religion that this country offers.
This rule is unconstitutional and contradicts itself. It offers freedom of religion to doctors, but takes it away from patients.
And the fact that ny brother is going to have to go through all of that to find one person who is willing to do the surgeries for him makes me so unbelievably angry. That shit shouldn't be something he has to deal with, and other trans folks shouldn't have to put up with it either.
Sorry that this got so long. Good job if you made it to the end. Thanks for reading my rant when you could have just skipped over this post. That means a lot.
If people donβt think womenβs bodies are being controlled, they arenβt looking hard enough.
