also can we just talk about the fact that in the Wish World, a woman can get away with calling another woman beautiful without setting off everyone's queer panic, but when a man does it to a man, it tips over the edge? so the Kates of the world are flying just under the radar, but are likely to be more emotionally repressed as a result - and yet, all the queer or queer-coded characters in this world are offered the same security and protection from doubt by the prospect of entering into an opposite-sex marriage...

one of my favorite things about zedaph is that on a server full of people that find strange and oft-overlooked minecraft mechanics or rare events and then see just how far they can push them in the name of spectacle or efficiency or world-breaking, zed is over here finding these mechanics in order to do the weirdest things he can think of in as entertaining a manner as possible

like i 100% have faith in zedaph's theoretical ability to be just as efficient or spectacular or world-breaking. if he wanted to do that stuff, i trust that he absolutely could. but thats so far from being his priority. instead, hes going to spend around a week of irl time focused entirely on eventually having the good luck to spawn in something insanely rare so that he can convert it into something even rarer, the result of which being something that 99% of the server reacts with complete and utter shock that it even exists in the first place, just because its zany and funny and he wanted to. and i love that

…but…but- but you pushed it- what do you mean you wouldn’t push it-

I feel like these 2 scenes greatly contradict each other, the first I thought was establishing that Zooble is in some way afraid of what Caine would do if he didnt like them, so theyre not looking to give him a reason NOT to.

But then here they’re pushing him, and not reacting to his incredibly sudden blow up. I discussed this with my sister to which she suggested that maybe the blow up happened only in Caines head which im not against, but still doesn’t explain Zoobles pushing him.

Perhaps they’ve just grown used to this because more therapy sessions have happened since ep 4, but if that were the case why wouldn’t they show that or have a line about it?

Some spoilers for Rick and Morty Season 8 Episode 1, Summer of All Fears below the cut!

Ummm, is anyone else feeling like they need to look at some fluffy, cute fanfiction or art after the season premiere?

Please don't take this as me disliking Summer of All Fears, because actually the opposite is true - I thought it was a really good episode! That being said, Rick pissed me off more of the ep than he didn't, (which I think was exacerbated by Fear no Mort being on right before), and while I'm intrigued by Morty’s Evil Morty-esque actions, they also freak me the fuck out.

And while our titular duo DID have some cute moments bonding and hanging out (I loved the hardware store scene!), consider this:

1. It is pretty fucked up that Rick’s being all buddy-buddy with/so impressed by the version of Morty created by the newest trauma he's inflicted on the boy. Like, congrats on your new drinking buddy, Rick, but at what cost? I know causing Morty lasting-if-it-weren't-mindblown psychological damage wasn't Rick’s intention this time, and I don't think he realizes HOW MUCH damage he did. But still...

2. While they were having fun together at the hardware store and building the death race car, just under the surface, Morty was plotting his revenge. I will never stop thinking about this. 😭

So anyway, you know those scenes in Mort:Ragnarick where the boys are physically supporting each other while being attacked by Bigfoot? I currently need ALL the things that give off that kind of energy. Anyone else?

First off I want to say that I absolutely ADORE your cybug AU, it's one of the most precious things to cross my dash. Makes me just stare into space grinning every time I see something with the bugs. They're the cutest things ever. I know you've said Shockwave would maybe be like a scorpion or like a huge moth or something, so I'm just wondering if you may have any plans for him? I know most people don't think that scorpions or the 'scary' looking moths are nice for pets but I love them both, so I'm curious. If not that's perfectly fine, I mostly just wanted to tell you how much I love seeing your stuff on my dash!
