Thinking about the subtle indication that Alison and Dan were closer before she left…and after she left for good for Hudson was around the time she and Rufus started getting in more fights. Yet even before Christmas it was Dan and Rufus getting more buddy buddy especially when Dan started dating Serena, so when Alison came back that was still going on…and then she left for good. So. That’s Dan and Rufus left, and her, and maybe also Dan and Alison when she goes her mom’s house.
