Questionable mentorship by Breezemouse. Closest with Sandyseed and Vinefeather growing up, but gets into ideological disagreements with Lupo and isn't close with Galecrest. Died fighting alongside Quietclaw.

Lupo - Warrior

Troublesome, good kitsitter

Accepted Sandyseed's proposal after receiving several gifts from her and growing to appreciate her affection. They both love to cause trouble, and Heavyfoot became their favorite target after the three of them went on an herb gathering patrol.

They were saddened by the loss of Hillkit, and later Birchjay, but are able to move past their grief by focusing on their many living kits. Vinefeather is by far his favorite.

Lupo retired as soon as he became old enough to qualify for it, wanting to spend as much time as possible with his family after Caterpillarpaw, Primosepelt, and Gentleburst were each suddenly called upon by Starclan.

In the midst of his sadness over his lost kits, Tidebriar and Beaversea being next, he could at least take pride in Vinefeather becoming Reefpelt's mate. Despite Sandyseed's outright hostility to her brother and his deputy, Lupo had never been able to see Reefpelt as anyone other than an upstanding young cat. He greatly anticipates their future kits, sometimes to the point of neglecting his own.

Lupo and Sandyseed rarely had disagreements, but after moons of strained relations between Sandyseed and Reefpelt over their conflicting feelings toward Duskstar, Lupo felt compelled to say something. He knew it was a sensitive topic, but even focusing the conversation on their need to support Vinefeather irritated Sandyseed. When she refused to continue talking about it, he gave her the space she needed and watched her leave.

When Reefpelt came tearing into camp reporting Sandyseed's injury, Lupo bolted to his feet and raced after the other cat down to the shoreline. Everything left his mind as he gently skidded to a stop next to her and watched the medicine cats inspect her. When they all met his eyes solemnly he stared down at her cold, wet body and found himself sinking down next to her.

Lupo could barely smell his mate under the overwhelming scent of seawater, and tears began to form in his eyes. He was dimly aware of his kits settling down around him, joining him in their collective grief.

Although Lupo did eventually intend to move on from Sandyseed, he found that he just didn't feel up to it when the opportunity presented itself. He also found himself unable to get as close with his kits as he'd planned to. He considers the tainted prey that killed him to be a sign from Starclan that it was his time to join Sandyseed and their kits.
