There is nothing that quite feels like Autumn at the top of the world...in the Rockies...frosty grass...the smell of golden Aspens in subtundra...the crunchy leaves on the trails...the Colorado sunrise colors....Arctic tundra occurs in the far Northern Hemisphere, north of the taiga belt. The word "tundra" usually refers only to the areas where the subsoil is permafrost....love feels surreal on the top of the world again...for these two...

From my heart ♥️ to yours...

Do you have dreams from your childhood that still call your attention?

I saw a photo of me just the other day that too me back to that highs school years being there experience...where my whole world was in front of my doorstep....hiking boots, happy heart full of DREAMS....that could conquer any obstacle on my trails....no big decisions to make....just “living the dream”....always with a smile on my face...

And then I remember that girl that had no fear....used to spend every summer away across the Atlantic, getting lost on Monhegan trails....surrounded by waves of dreams...living her DREAM....college years...

And then I remember this young woman....with a heart full of LOVE to share...when she met the love of her life...

It wasn’t until she turned 30...the same adventurous soul....went full circle....and found herself again on the hiking trail....

Back at 12,000 feet always feels like HOME....there is a good reason...why Rocky Mountain National Park....feels like HOME....it’s a sister park with Polish Tatra National Park....a good reason Colorado at 12,000 feet feels like HOME...because when you meet me....I’m still the same girl that found her happy soul on the trail....when she was just a freshman....in high school....
