Sometimes I play with this idea of having The best of / Greatest hits of Mel released. It would be about time! She has plenty of material after seven solo albums. Obviously this would not represent truly the best of her because she’s had a history of selecting bad singles. A lot of good singles would have to be left out. And probably not all would fit to one album either..... But it’s fun to play with the thought. What does your tracklist look like (only single releases)?

Mel’s first single “Next best superstar” from “Beautiful Intentions” was released 13 years ago! These were Mel’s first releases from her independent label Red Girl Records and also first tracks to be written with Adam Argyle whom she would collaborate plenty of times in the future. Top 10 single in several European countries which music video was directed by a Ray Kay from Norway. Check it out!
