I’ve been looking for this all these weeks, and leaving saddened that I didn’t find it.
But last night, tucked deep into a cedar chest full of my baby clothes, I finally found it.
This was a little snuggle quilt Grannie Wright made for me. It completely covered me when she made it, and I slept with it and cuddled with it until I had far outgrown it.
Holding it to my chest, I could still smell her.
And then it hit me...
Some day, my 7 grandchildren will be in their 50’s going through my things...
And they will find 7 snuggle quilts that still smell like me.♥️
