The Anjani Mahadev Temple
The "Anjani Mahadev Temple"is a notable religious site located in the Kullu Valley, near Solang Valley in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, India. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the principal deities in Hinduism. Here's a description of the Anjani Mahadev Temple: 1. Location: The Anjani Mahadev Temple is situated amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of the Himalayas. It is a relatively remote temple, accessible by a moderately challenging trek. The journey to the temple is as significant as the temple itself, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. 2. Natural Beauty: The trek to Anjani Mahadev Temple takes you through dense forests, lush meadows, and a gushing waterfall, creating an enchanting journey for nature lovers. The temple is perched on a mountain and offers panoramic views of the valley. 3. Religious Significance: The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the main attraction here is a naturally formed ice Shivling (a symbol of Lord Shiva). The ice Shivaling is said to form during the winter months due to the dripping water from the mountains. 4. Trekking Adventure: The trek to Anjani Mahadev Temple is a thrilling adventure in itself. It's a moderately challenging trek that can take a few hours, depending on your pace. The journey involves crossing narrow trails, streams, and rocky terrain, making it a popular choice for adventure enthusiasts. 5. Seasonal Visit: Due to the temple's location and the naturally formed ice Shivling, it is most popular during the summer and early monsoon months when the ice Shivling is accessible. 6. Spiritual Experience: The temple provides a serene and spiritual atmosphere, and many devotees visit to seek blessings and perform religious rituals. 7. Cultural Insights: The journey to the temple allows visitors to interact with local villagers and experience their traditional lifestyle. It's a great way to understand the culture and customs of the region. 8. Unleashing Your Inner Geet ♡
In the vibrant tapestry of Bollywood cinema, there are characters who transcend the screen, becoming beacons of inspiration. Geet, from the iconic movie "Jab We Met," is one such character the most adorable character I've seen so far whose mindset and approach to life leave an indelible mark on our hearts. If you any of you is not from India or is not a bollywood fan go and watch it rn! I beg you 😭 and Ik every desi person has watched this movie. Anyways let's get started ✮
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Embrace Spontaneity : Geet's spontaneity is infectious. She lives in the moment, unafraid to express herself fully. In our lives, embracing spontaneity can lead to new experiences, deeper connections, and a sense of freedom from constraints.
Find Joy in Small Things : From dancing in the rain to relishing a simple cup of tea, Geet finds joy in life's small pleasures. This mindset shift reminds us to appreciate the beauty around us, even in the mundane aspects of daily life.
Pursue Your Dreams Fearlessly : Geet's dream of traveling to Manali reflects her fearless pursuit of what she desires and even the determination and trust she held onto anshuman 😭. We can learn from her determination and courage to chase our dreams relentlessly, overcoming obstacles along the way.
Embrace Change and Adaptability : Life is a journey filled with twists and turns, much like Geet's unexpected encounters and situations. Learning to embrace change and adaptability helps us navigate life's challenges with resilience.
Cultivate Optimism and Positivity : Geet's optimism is a ray of sunshine in every situation. Cultivating a positive outlook can transform how we perceive setbacks, turning them into opportunities for growth and learning. She never had a 'what if' thought in her mind making it easier for her to think Positively.
Love Unconditionally : Geet's capacity to love unconditionally, whether it's her family or Aditya or even that mf anshuman (i still have a beef with him), teaches us about the transformative power of love. Embracing love with an open heart can bring depth and meaning to our relationships.
Live Authentically : Geet is unapologetically herself, embracing her quirks and flaws. Living authentically means honoring our true selves, embracing our uniqueness, and letting go of societal expectations.
Embrace Self-Discovery : Geet's journey is not just about external adventures but also about self-discovery. Taking time for introspection, exploring our passions, and understanding our values leads to personal growth and fulfillment.
As we channel our inner Geet, let's remember that Each one of the desi girl is a GEET we all are GEET fr 😭💅🏼
Anyways bye love you!!! 🫶

Summit Stories
So this is the story about how I completed my first ever Himalayan trek. The first of many himalayan trek yet to come.
I started planning for this trek only when my cousin asked me to come with her and her friends on 12th May 2024 because I was talking about how I really wanted to go to Manali. I was hesitant at first because it was starting on 26 May only 2 weeks from then. I quickly decided that I was going to the trek and all alone, I did not ask many of my friends because they were still busy in giving silly exams. I knew if I did not seize this chance I would regret it. So, on the day of the start of the trip at the railway station I was very nervous because I am shy and find it hard to make friends with strangers. Then in just a few minutes there I was sitting on the coach of a train with 20 strangers and already started vibing with all of them. The first two days went travelling as we travelled from Pune to Delhi. Spent the day at a waterpark where we had way too much fun and then we truly got to know each other and realised how awesome the next 10 days were going to be because we were already acting like we knew each other all out lives. We took a bus from Delhi to Manali and reached Manali at around 8am. After freshening up and having our dinner we went for a nice walk around the hills, wandering around the main road of Naggar, a small town near main Manali. At night we were served with delicious Pav Bhaji and Gulab Jamuns and we gulped all of it since we were very tired and hungry because of the walking. We packed our bags for the next day as it was the day we were starting our main trek from base camp to camp number 1. The next day we started trekking and for the first time while trekking I wanted to go ahead of everyone else like it was a race even though it was not. That was the time I got some time alone to myself as some people were yet to catch up and I looked down to only see green trees, when I looked up there were only dark clouds hinting for possible pouring down. It was the most beautiful scene I had ever seen, that moment was magical, my heart was pumping fast and I could hear its beats up to my ears.
After reaching the camp we drank some nice orange juice and quickly chose our tents, after putting our bags in the tent we went to collect wood for campfire that was supposed to take place at night. At night after dinner we gathered around the campfire sharing horror stories and gossip about each others' life which we termed "tea". Then we started singing songs and it was an absolutely ethereal moment. The next day was also quite tough as we started trekking to camp 2 this time with rain pouring torrentially. We wore our raincoats and me with 3 of my friends started walking faster to reach there ASAP. On our way there we started revising the periodic table for some reason I still am not aware of (classic Science student moment I guess). This time also with the aim of reaching ahead of everyone I got ahead of the rest of the pack and got engrossed up in my own thoughts. It felt like I was in a different dimension entirely, just a different entity from every other living thing on planet Earth at that particular moment. It felt like after 2 years of constant struggle and frustration I was finally free, able to feel the peace that I manifested of when I was giving my toughest exams. We had to stop because it started raining cats and dogs later on again. Somehow after reaching the camp. We enjoyed a few glasses of orange juice and the climate up there was really cold. The tents were being set up so we were their covered with sleeping bags and stuck to each other's bodies for warmth. After we got into the tents we all slept and woke up after approximately 30 mins. We gathered up to collect woods again. Again, after dinner we played our favourite songs on the speaker and a special song "A sky full of stars" was being played every night, it was better than the entire concert because we had a sky full of stars above our heads and there was no lie. The next 2 days were going to be even tougher as we were going to practice the summit and the summit. The next whole day we spent trekking and after coming back had Maggi and slept ASAP with some fun here and there.
Now comes the best day, the summit - it all started really rough as we were already 30 minutes late which meant that because of bad weather conditions we would be delayed by almost 2 hour on our return journey. As we started climbing because of the drop in oxygen levels and pressure, it was getting harder to breathe and we were taking longer breaks. Again character-wise I got ahead of the pack and was rushing towards the summit but everytime I felt like I was almost there, a long mountain range would become visible, this time they were of snow, finally, what we were dying to see for a week was visible. It was only after we walking in snow that we realised how difficult it actually was to walk in snow. We were on the verge of giving up and to worsen the situation there were darker clouds hovering over our heads, almost on the top of the snow mountain, there were snow clouds, not rain, but snow, somehow our instructors gathered courage to take a whole batch of 24 people on the top knowing the risk. Reaching the summit I was SHOCKED, I was numb not being able to feel my hands, my nose was red, my ears were covered with cotton balls and my head was spinning, I was the 2nd person to reach the summit only behind a guy who had already done it once. At that moment I hugged my friends who were all crying, for some reason, I was not able to comprehend the emotions I was feeling at that time, my heart felt heavy, reaching the Bhrigu lake we requested the tour guides to let us drink the water, we did drink it, it did not taste any different but it was something I wanted to experience. I have longed to be in that moment again for the better part of a year now, I felt free for the first time in my life then.
Now, the real trouble started as a snow storm started coming in our direction, it was twice as difficult to climb down than it was to climb up. It did not help that we were out of food and water, the only thing keeping us going was adrenaline and some of the food that we had in the morning, we climbed down taking our time and were back by 6:00 pm. We quickly had our dinner and slept as it had been a very hectic day and we had to climb to the base the very next day. The next day was the same we climbed down, visited a temple and came back to our base camp, freshening up and went to have dinner in Naggar's restaurant. After that we finished up our repacking for the bus journey the next day. We did rafting which was the second most fun experience on that trip. After that we only started to get sadder as we were about to be seperated. When we sat in the train from Delhi, we were all very sad as this beautiful trip was coming to an end. It did not help that while we were in the train, it was being delayed slowly and it got delayed by 12 hours!!! We reached at Pune station at 1am night. It was then I finally got to know why we like going on vacations so much, it is not the destination, not the journey either, but the company that we keep, it is always the people. I am glad that I went on that trek alone without any friends but I was coming back with a box full of memories and people to remember for life!!!!

At the summit, the waterfall greeted me with its serene majesty, a reminder of the power and grace inherent in the natural world.
