I've been brainstorming for a fanfic

Specifically ->this<- idea, where Danny gets kidnapped by aliens and kinda gets adopted by a big awesome friendly alien, and they go on neat adventures to get Danny back home.

This would be so easy to write compared to my other fanfics, since I'm most comfortable writing alien characters in a sci-fi setting. (Probably because of a rp I'm in that's about aliens adventuring in space lol)

I am deeply considering rewriting my Danny Phantom x My Hero Academia fanfic In This Together.

Lately I've been reading a lot of MHA fanfics and I want to continue writing In This Together (a fic where Danny gets isekaied and adopts Eri as his new little sister. Not quite as fluffy as it sounds). However, I'm considering rewriting it instead of just continuing, because I feel like I could do better. The fic isn't really up to my personal writing standards, as I started writing it without caring about those standards.

Well I care about them now.

But I'm still torn on my decision, because at 15k words, it's currently my longest fic. So I'm hesitant to actually rewrite it.

Woe am I, and my indecisiveness.

You know what? I'll let y'all decide.

Why do I gotta plan out such big fanfics? Why can't some of them be like... 5k-20k words long, instead of potentially 50k+???

I'm 10 chapter summaries in and I'm not even through the first Part of 6! I need to chill out!

Is it still fanfiction if all characters but Danny are OCs? If they're all far, far from Earth and not even in the Ghost Zone? Am I just writing an original story with Danny injected into it? Is that still fanfiction?
