The Introduction of Apple Inc.

Apple Inc., which was Apple Computer, Inc., is a company that makes and sells computer, electric equipment, software, online services and servers. Apple provides lots of software and services. For softwares, there are iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, iTunes, safari and etc, and, for services, there are iTunes store, iOS app store, Mac app store, Apple Music, Apple TV+, iCloud, and etc. Nowadays, Apple Inc. is considered as one of the five biggest companies in the U.S. with the $274.5 billion of the 2020 revenue.

The Brief Path to be Successful of Apple Inc.

Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne were founders of Apple Inc. They developed and sold Apple I computer in April 1976, and then they established the company in the following year in January. Surprisingly, sales of Apple I and II increased very fast.

By the year of 1980, Apple introduced Apple III in May to compete with IBM and Microsoft in the terms of business and computing market, but the Apple III defeated to IBM computers because of design problem that did not have fan or vent to release the heat. They tried to overcome IBM and Microsoft many times by inventing many models, but cannot. For example of new model computers of Apple, there were Apple Lisa and Macintosh, and some of electronic equipment such as digital cameras, portable CD audio players, speakers, TV appliances etc. These were all unsuccessful.

Jobs came back after being fired, and then convinced the board to promote him to be CEO in 1997 because of many faliures of other CEOs. The iMac was introduced in 1998. Many were sold very quickly in just few months. This was the beginning of success of Apple.

After 10 years, the company became successful again with iPhone, and changed the name to Apple Inc. Right now, Tim Cook is the CEO of Apple.

The evolution of console games (Chapter One)

A video game console is an electronic or computer device that generates a video signal or visual image for the viewing of a video game that can be played by one or more people using a game controller. These could be home consoles, which are usually installed in a permanent location and controlled by a separate game controller, or handheld systems, which have their own display unit and controller functions built-in and can be played anywhere.

In 1967 (Brown box)

The first video game console (working prototype) came in the form of a large rectangular brown wooden box with two attached controllers, earning it the nickname "Brown Box." Ralph H. Baer (1922) invented it.

In 1978-1980 (Nintendo)

Nintendo, which would go on to become a major force in the video game business for the next three decades, launched its first console series between 1977 and 1979. It was the Color TV-Game series that was available for purchase in Japan. Pong-style games were featured on these consoles, which basically continued in the footsteps of Atari.

In 1986-1990 (Nintendo & Sega)

As the fight for dominance between Nintendo and Sega persists, both companies have launched brand new consoles to challenge each other's dominance. In 1988, Sega released the Mega Drive/Genesis, which quickly became the company's most popular console. To address the challenge, Nintendo released the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) two years later, the console that came after the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Following the popularity of the Mega Drive/Genesis, Sega released the Master Machine II the following year. During the 1980s, there was a big console battle.
