“Ironic, considering I was the one who took it away from you.” He says, bitterness in his tone.

Younger Viktor x Older Jayce (20-24 Viktor x late 30s Jayce)

Jayce was looking for an assistant. Someone who has what it takes to work with him. Long hours, all nighters, constant movement and constant creation. It's a lot, but it's worth it. Names in patents and published notes, big paydays when something goes right, days off after a project is complete.

No one is up for the challenge not after a week at least. Some after an hour, some after seven days. Then Viktor shows up. Jayce never had a Zaunite offer up as an assistant. He doesn't dismiss him because he's from the undercity or his disability. But he keeps distance for the first few days because fuck is he pretty.

But Viktor is relentless. He's got the fire, the passion for creation, just like Jayce. Soon they're spending nights in the lab, creating things no one thought possible before.

Long nights, no sleep, pretty faces and chemistry physical and mental all pile up.

It started with them both leaning against each other in their lab chairs. Then, who knows which one leaned in first, they were kissing, slow and hot. Jayce put Viktor in his lap, wanting him to be closer, and then they were chest to chest, rubbing against each other.
