WoL as different NPC types (without taking new photos):

Romancable NPC

"Despite her distaste for revealing clothing, the warm night — and her trust for you — provides the perfect excuse for Na'el to wear something different.

(you can't romance her though. either you remain friends or she romances you.)

Quest NPC

"Na'el stares at the wall, fingers fidgeting for her paintbrush, deep in thought..."

Final Boss NPC

"The woman you once knew as the level-headed Student of Baldesion has shown a new side of herself; one whose determination and willpower will never die. Words won't help you anymore. You must fight."

(I considered doing something with a Reaper glam bc Na'el's RPR lore is that, instead of forming a pact with a voidsent, she develops a wolf-like summon named Shuck that bears the remnant aether and the emanated wills and spirits of her fallen comrades and friends. In other words, her RPR familiar is the chimera ghost of her lost loved ones. However, this pose was just too dope.)

MEET THE OCs

Na'el Lyehga:

The first character I really carved through XIV with, yet not the Warrior of Light in her story. Initially, she was a cynical grump that wanted nothing more than to go home, but over time she found a happiness in the people at her side. currently, she works as a researcher alongside the Students of Baldesion, though she still follows her own path where time permits. She is somehow wives with the actual Warrior of Light, though the two get conflated frequently.

Myrna Glaive:

Following in Na'el's footsteps after [ENDWALKER SPOILERS], Myrna fills the spot in the Scions that Na'el left open after her departure to rest and recover. Initially, Myrna had gone to the Scions in search of Na'el, but through some very convenient miscommunication, Myrna was sent to Radz-at-Han searching for the not-actually-missing Na'el, and finding herself wrapped up in an investigation of Alzadaal's Legacy, and the following events thereafter. She joined the Warrior of Light and company in supporting Wuk Lamat during the Rite of Succession, as Myrna actually hails from Tural and had not returned in quite some time.

Where Na'el specializes in magic and the arcane arts, Myrna specializes in more physical schools of combat, having learned many different schools of fighting during her travels around the world. If she is to go anywhere, it is not without the journal her parents used to document their adventures, filled with their stories, but with room for her own as she visits the places they once did, and goes to more that they had yet to see.

An unknown adventurer from a different version of the world than Na'el and Myrna. Who knows what her story might hold...
