I normally give you guys one tea at a time to read about. However, with Valentine’s Day approaching, I thought I would do a review of this sweet collection in one post. The packaging is so pretty, and the colors are perfect for the upcoming lover’s holiday. I’m so grateful that @beachhouseteas shared these full-size samples with me so that I can enjoy them for a little while! Rose City Dark – I had one of my moments with this tea (again). I had to remind myself to sip slowly and enjoy so that I could tell my tea friends about it. It’s so delicious, I wanted to chug and guzzle! This organic black tea blend includes peppermint and rose petals. What I love the most is that the added ingredients don’t overpower the flavor of the tea. There’s a very mild floral that I notice more in the brewed aroma than out of the package. The peppermint comes at the finish and leaves a lovely, cool and lingering mint sensation. A very well balanced, bold black tea that I’m enjoying with just a squeeze of honey. Mmmm. Rose City Rooibos – Like the Rose City Dark, this blend has peppermint and rose petals, but it’s a whole different experience. The sweet vanilla-ish notes of the rooibos mixed with the peppermint remind me of those creamy, delicious buttermints! There’s just the faintest floral note from the rose petals and they make for such a pretty loose tea. No need for sweetener on this one for me; it is absolutely perfect all on its own. Romancing The Beach – I KNEW IT. I knew this was going to be my favorite of this lovely trio. A more complex blend, but oh-so-delicious. Sweet rooibos with tart and tangy notes from hibiscus and rose hips and a mild floral hint make this a fresh, brisk brew. Topping that off is the bright strawberries and creamy cocoa nibs for a perfect finish. A little honey to sweeten only enhanced the flavors and made it extra yummy. This is great for an all-day sip or a dessert tea, AND I’m betting it will make a super refreshing cold brew. I’m super impressed with the quality and freshness from Beach House Teas.
