I’m imagining General Vanrouge meeting Bea and Trixie. They’re both fucking chaotic, the type of kids to start a chain reaction and watch from above at the hot mess of chaos they created with popcorn.

They aren’t malicious, just chaos gremlins! It also doesn’t help that the father they grew up with is also a chaos gremlin who encourages his girls to have their fun, so long as no one is injured. It’s worse that they’re identical and have to be wearing either blue or pink to differentiate from one another but also love to switch colors to confuse people.

So imagine the General dealing with this chaos. He can handle war and hugs battlegrounds that are nothing but chaos and uncertainty. But he can’t handle five year old girls running around, playing moms games with him, and somehow hanging him upside down from a tree branch while he was napping, which was caused by them slipping a sleeping potion into his tea.

It especially doesn’t help when the current version of Lilia applauds his girls’s ingenuity in their pranks, but he does tell them to get the General down quickly, yet gently and safely, so that he doesn’t die and so they could still exist.

Bea and Trixie do eventually get the General down, but then they drag both the General and the current version of Lilia inside so that they can make them extra pretty. Basically, the girls do their hair and the current version of Lilia teaches them how to properly apply makeup.

They end up being very pretty and the General was begrudgingly accepting Bea’s affectionate hugging while the current version of himself was enthusiastically cuddling Trixie and cooing about how her and her sister did such a good job.

Then the next day, all of the girls except for Heidi made the General extra pretty all over again-

Heidi: Okay, what’s going on in he-?

General Vanrouge: . . .

Heidi: What the fu-?

Bea: We made younger Baba pretty!

Trixie: Birdie taught us how to braid hair! And Helena used almost all of her clips!

Heidi: *side eyes Birdie and Helena*

Birdie: It isn’t my fault I’m good at doing hair.

Helena: And it isn’t my fault I like hair clips, Heidi.

Heidi: *pinching the bridge of her nose* Great Thorn Fairy, help me-

I decided to make this because I thought it’d be really cute!

I imagine that Divian and Lilia have a little gallery wall in their cottage with photos of them and all of their kids, adopted and biological. There’s black and white pictures of them with Malleus and Mealodie, pictures of them and Silver from when he was an infant to his adult years and his wedding, and endless pictures of their girls throughout their childhood. The wall has extended to a room and a little up the stairs since they have so many pictures and neither of them could bear to part with any of them.

All of those pictures hold special meanings! They show small moments of life that they hold so dear to them and it would be like trying to forget those things happened if they took any of them down!

Also, Lilia has very detailed scrapbooks that he keeps somewhere in a storage room in the cottage. But the books that are the most detailed are the “baby books” he’s made for all of his children. He even has books for Malleus and Mealodie since he couldn’t find another way to organize them and that was basically how he fell in love with scrapbooking.

I made Lilia and Divian three more daughters!!!

This is Helena Vanrouge, she’s 13 and the literal middle child! Her spirit animal is a dove, giving her the feathers behind her ears and her very soft and quiet voice.

Helena is usually very quiet and is oftentimes very awkward thanks to some social anxiety issues. She can’t talk to new people very well on her own, but she does better if she’s introduced to someone or if her parents or one of her older sisters are there to help her with socializing.

Despite this, Helena is viciously stubborn and often butts heads with Heidi, who is equally as stubborn at the former. Both of them refuse to back down and usually get each other worked up if they’re left alone together for too long or if they’re annoyed. They usually end up arguing about something trivial, like a certain way of doing things, and take a few hours to cool off before one of them apologizes or their parents make them make up.

Being in that awkward transition stage, Helena is quite impulsive and can be singleminded. She yearns for independence and doesn’t like being infantilized by her sisters or parents, oftentimes snapping “I’m not a child who needs protecting!!” when she wants to do something on her own but people won’t let her and insist on helping her. Nothing grinds her gears more than being treated like a baby girl when she’s clearly old enough to do things herself.

Though, despite how quiet and short tempered she can be, Helena is actually pretty friendly and excitable when you get to know her past all of her anxiety. When something interests her or something good happens, she can’t help but start babbling and laugh or squeal with delight. A lot of people get surprised when they see this side of Helena, but it’s just her actually being open for once since her anxiety usually keeps her closed off and shut inside her own little shell until she gets to know someone.

Overall, Helena is a good kid who’s just trying to navigate a new stage in her life, despite all of her anxiety and occasional moments of being short tempered with others.

And here are the twins! On the left we have Beatrice “Bea” Vanrouge, who’s the older twin by thirty seconds, and on the right we have Bellatrix “Trixie” Vanrouge, who is the youngest of the Vanrouge girls. The twins have the same spirit animal, which is a chameleon, giving them the scales on their faces and the green in their hair along with their scales change colors depending on their moods and they can make themselves invisible if they focus enough. And they’re five years old!

Bea is more laidback than Trixie and is slightly calmer than her. Though, Bea isn’t above letting Trixie loose if she happens to be holding her back and hears something that she doesn’t like. Meanwhile, Trixie is the more hyper of the two and seems to have a near endless supply of energy. Trixie is happy to carry her sister and run off, which makes Bea laugh, or Trixie will simply grab her twin by the wrist and drag her along on an adventure.

It’s almost impossible to see one twin without the other, as both Bea and Trixie are very attached to one another and are basically unable to sleep if they aren’t sharing a room with each other. If you do happen to see one of them by herself, you’re likely their next prank victim or they’re forcing you to play spot the difference and guess which twin is which while they wear the same outfit.

Speaking of which, both Bea and Trixie are incredibly devious and sneaky, much like Lilia. They love playing pranks and spooking people, oftentimes joining their father in one of his mischievous endeavors. The twins just can’t get enough of causing chaos and it’s honestly concerning until you remember that Lilia is their father.

And this love of chaos is only made worse by the fact that the girls are identical, so the only way to tell them apart is if they’re wearing different colors. So, Divian assigned both of them a defining color when they were babies, with Bea’s being blue and Trixie’s being pink, a choice inspired by the story of two fairies arguing over the color of a dress and whether it should be blue or pink. Coincidentally, Bea and Trixie will squabble a bit over the color of things until Divian comes and solves it since Lilia would only really add fuel to the fire unless it was a serious fight or the girls were going to get physical with each other, which never happens.

Overall, Bea and Trixie are very sweet and adorable girls, thought they do concern people with the amount of chaos that they love to cause.
