hasan exists for leftists who want to keep doing celebrity worship but its not seen as Cool and Leftist enough to keep doing it with actual celebrities so to make themselves feel better they justify their celebrity worship of him by pretending they watch him for the politics (watch what? there's nothing going on in his head. wtf could you be "watching"?) when really thats the only outlet for their celebrity worship since other leftists will shame them if they like taylor swift and talk about it openly or something.

gardenia: what is the setting in which you write best?
hmmm i do most of my writing at home but to be honest i think i function best at cafés. for some reason i’m most productive in a public setting surrounded by strangers i don’t have to interact with. the white noise is really comforting somehow. (most of the time. inevitably someone always brings a baby and/or a group of old men start laughing way too loud)
it’s impossible for me to work/study at a desk though, rip. i’m a bit like one of those cats who doesnt sleep in their fancy cat tree and opts for its humans’ clothing drawers instead. why do anything in a way that makes sense when u can repurpose stuff for no reason at all?
hyacinth: do you prefer to write angst or fluff?
for fanfiction, DEFINITELY FLUFF. i might throw in angsty elements, but it always gets resolved pretty quick. my original stories are full of a lot more pain and death, but existing characters are a comfort for me and i can’t hurt them without patching them back up hahaha
although keep in mind that by angst i mean stuff where the focus of the story is driving in the knife. there’s always going to be some angst in what i write bc, let’s be real, feelings of anxiety, sadness, and inadequacy are the background radiation of life and it’s unrealistic to pretend they aren’t. it’s how we deal with them that matters.
lily: do you listen to music when you write? if so, do you have a specific playlist for it?
not usually while i write because Hearing Words distracts me from the words i’m writing. very much to get inspired, though. as you know i have a specific playlist for my wip, but otherwise i usually just loop whatever song(s) have ear-wormed me recently
sunflower: what is the best feedback/compliment you’ve ever received regarding your writing?
believe it or not i got asked this question 3 times
so i’m just going to continue talking about more stuff that means a lot... i also love when people tell me my writing could help them get through something, that it cheered them up or made their day better. oh, and -- i’ve gotten soooo many comments from people who read not that bad and said they could relate to keith’s anxiety, and that it made them feel less alone, or like they had a chance at happiness. and that just really,, touches my tender little heart, that something i wrote to learn to empathize with something that is hard for me to personally relate to could mean so much to the very people i was trying to understand ;__;
daisy: would you ever consider a career in writing?
fuck yeah. honestly i feel like that’s where i’m inevitably going, even though i’m currently drifting from thing to thing without a real end in sight. i’m just going to keep writing and sharpening my skills so that when the opportunity comes along, i’ll be ready to take it
petunia: who is your favorite character to write for? why?
right now? lance, definitely. i don’t know how much of it is about the original lance and how much is what i’ve put into him, but the fusion-character he’s become really means so very much to me.
