on my third redraw of my art project and it’s finally looking like something I’m okay doing a critique for
#very proud of myself of scrapping the other ones because the depths of my soul beg me to keep working on one piece until it is absolutely#beyond any sort of salvaging.#and instead. I saw that it wasn’t going the way I wanted. reevaluated. and then started afresh!#also I think the closest I’ve ever come#to truly experiencing *takes 15 points of menta damage* is when you’re doing a group critique and no one talks about your work#the way my prof does it is…slightly irksome (come ON just organize it in a way where everyone has to speak!!) but it’s not horrible#sometimes it’s just…*sits there sadly with my sad drawing and is sad*#the way this project was supposed to#be a four hour project is laughable.
